• Francisco (10/5): Una gran sorpresa - Cabañas hermosa, cerca del cañón del chicamocha. El personal muy amable. Desayuno delicioso, una vista espectacular del cañón. La vía de acceso está bien, se puede llegar incluso con un carro pequeño. Volvería definitivamente.
• Tanja (10/5): Idyllische Stille mit sensationellem Ausblick - Der Besitzer ist super nett, er hat für uns die An- und Abreise komplett organisiert und hat sich, bis wir im Bus saßen, um uns gekümmert. Enrique, vor Ort, ist ein sehr herzlicher Mensch und stand uns jederzeit für jeden Wunsch zur Verfügung. Leckeres kolumbianisches Frühstück gab es bei ihm auf der Terrasse. Das Gelände um die Cabañas ist sehr schön gepflegt. Die Cabañas sind minimal ausgestattet, die Lage ist sensationell und man hört keinerlei Verkehrslärm. Alles bestens!

• edward (7/5): I wish we spent more time walking around this location, instead of rushing off to the national park - breakfast was good, but it was all about the location and the outstanding view there were no cooking facilities for our cabin, or communal facilities, so it wasn't possible to make anything. You could only order in from one restaurant, and have it delivered

• Giorgio (7/5): Relaxing stay with a magnificent view - I loved the wonderful view over the canyon and the calm. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The mattress and the pillow were wrapped in plastic right underneath the sheets and the pillowcase.

They have a 'mini bar' with water, fizzy drinks, juice, beers and some small snacks which was really useful. Breakfast was fairly big and delicious. You get a discount on paragliding next door which costs I think $200.000 COP and they had a contact for someone who can drop you off at the canyon, she even brought us to Barichara at a good price! Nothing

Secondly, the view is gorgeous, something you really have to experience yourself. The cabañas themselves were cosy and nice too. All in all a really welcome surprise, definitely will be visiting again if I ever get the opportunity

Comfortable and clean. - The location was very nice on the edge of the Canyon The water system needs updating - every time we took a shower there was a horrible smell when the water first came out. Also the manager tried to switch our room to one in the back, without the view we wanted. After insisting, he readily put us in the room we reserved. Over all we're glad we stayed here. The surrounding view of the canyon and the isolation was just what we wanted!
• Karen (10/5): Best place to stay for peace and quiet - Staying at a place where you’re starting at the canyon the whole time, surrounded by nature, mountains, gorgeous birds and quietness was amazing! Would love to go back and stay for longer to enjoy the views of the mountains, birds and quietness even more. I can’t recommend this place enough! It was amazing! You don’t get just a room, but a whole apartment with kitchen and living room and dinning room. The host is super attentive and helpful and the breakfast was super yummy! He even helped us get take out delivered to the top of the mountain!

There's a huge help arriving to the place, Don Sergio coordinated our arrival and offered us ideas on activities. I'm pretty thankful for the experience. The food was also amazing. • Lucille (9/5): Beautiful spot - Beautiful spot in the middle of the Cañon Del Chicamocha. The cabaña was big, with an incredible view on the Cañon as well as great outdoor space for kids to run around. The place is so peaceful and perfect to admire sunsets or walk near by. The staff is lovely and very helpful which make your stay unique. Do not miss this incredible spot in the nature before travelling else where in the region of Satander. I will recommend before heading to the cabañas it's better to get groceries/food as there is a kitchen in the cabaña. Plan your journey if you haven't rented a car, we booked a taxi from bucaramanga in advance which was very convenient and not too expensive (180mil cop for 4). The cabañas also have a taxi contact to drive anywhere. There is a breakfast option at the cabañas if you need or restaurant on the main road which you will need to get by car. Another advice if you are keen to do parapente, you don't to go to san Gil as most of the parapente companies start from their it's between 5 to 10min walk depending on the company choosen. That's was definitely my highlight whike there parapente in the Cañon to truly enjoy the view! Nothing

The rooms are simple with a stocked fridge with water and alcohol It’s far from everything and without a car it’s hard. We had to have food delivered multiple times and spent money on taxis
