The cottage was well equipped with the essentials and little extras making our stay comfortable and memorable. Nothing!

• Yeow Wei (10/5): Lovely. Will definitely come again! - Everything is great. Lovely cottages, amazing animals, serene and peaceful. Can be muddy when it rains, but this is not something anyone can control! Part of nature too :)

• Sheng Jie (10/5): - It has everything you need to enjoy your trip. Felt comfortable throughout. Room was very clean and well kept. Helen gave us recommendations on things to do around the area for our stay and they were good. Farm animals are all very friendly and approachable and there are a couple of activities for us to do and spend our day at the farm. Will recommend this stay if you are around the region and wants to experience a farm stay. Koala spotting was a bonus in the farm too. Nothing. It's great.

We would definitely be back again if we are in the area. - The experience of staying in a farm was amazing with the walking trails around the farm that we could do at anytime we want. The cottage that we stayed in was very cosy and comfortable and Helen always ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. When she knew that we would arrive near to sunset, she even switched on the lights of our cottage so that we could identify it upon our arrival. The children really enjoyed playing with the farm animals especially Jagger the dog. They would even walk all the way to the house to play with the animals by themselves. They also had lots of fun feeding the animals. The location was also central to visiting around the Great Ocean Road area, making it a good 'base' to explore what the area has to offer.

• Ruth (10/5): Incredible - with lots of animals/pets and Koala bears! - The cottage was incredible - everything was fine and we just loved our stay at Helen‘s and Julian‘s place. Helen showed us the farm and all the animals/pets. We could even have fresh eggs and Helen helped us with the gateway to the Great Ocean Road (we could leave our car at the beach-parking).

Helen brought us on a personalised farm tour around the property and we thoroughly enjoyed spotting koalas (mum and babies) in their natural habitat (foc rather than see them at a zoo!) My boys had so much fun playing with friendly Zacky and Jagga and watched a Farrier cut the nails of Pickles the donkey and the ponies. Mornings were greated by birds chirping and wonderful sunrise and sunset views at the Teatree cottage we stayed in. We also managed to catch the starry skies at night! We also collected fresh eggs and herbs to cook our meals and it was wonderful stay overall. Would highly recommend this farmstay! It was slightly rainy. Wished we had a dryer on site to quickly dry our laundry.

Highly recommend if you need a break from the city and want to wake up to the sound of birds and fall asleep under the starry sky. • Kirsty (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful, friendly farm. - Stunning views in peaceful setting with rolling hills looking out to sea. The farm was full of beautiful animals with big personalities and our kids enjoyed collecting eggs and feeding the alpacas and ponies. With Johanna Beach and some lovely walks nearby there was plenty to do over a long weekend. We hope to come back again soon. N/A

Beautiful views of the forest, country and sea, and it was very convenient drives for dog friendly nature. The cottage itself had wonderful amenities, spectacular views and was very private.

• Rose (8/5): restful and cosy farm cottage - this is a very cosy and peaceful cottage. it has all your need and feel like a home. it sits on a quiet farm land with a lot to see and see and explore. we enjoyed the farm tour with the farm owner-Helen and the 2 beautiful dogs and had a lot of fun feeding farm animals, enjoy and know more about the farm. it was a restful trip to Johanna. the light in the cottage is a bit dim but others may think it is fine.

The cabin had amazing views and was very comfortable. The farm animals and the dogs were the best part. We truely loved everything and had an amazing anniversary. That our stay wasn’t longer!

• Sarah (9/5): beautiful bush setting with great facilities for a romantic weekend away - wonderful location amongst the tall gum trees and singing birds in a well kept farm stay property. our cabin was spacious, with lovely features- fire already set for us on arrival, spa bath, and balcony overlooking the pond. nothing we didn’t like! there isn’t under cover parking - this is really the only thing we would add but it didn’t detract from our stay at all.

• Kat (9/5): The farm was beautiful, the animal experiences were fantastic and the accommodation was cosy. - Helen & Julian, the hosts, are great communicators, sending required information and answering questions via email and phone before the visit. They were friendly and generous hosts, touring us around the farm and helping the kids with feeding the farm animals and spotting the native animals. We also enjoyed using the small cottage garden and orchard for fresh herbs and lemons with our meals. The experience was authentic, relaxed and welcoming - like having your own farm for a few days. The farm and Johanna River are beautiful, the animal experiences were fantastic and the accommodation was clean and cosy. Our whole extended family loved the experience and recommend it.
