- Carly (9/5): -
- Tiffany (10/5): - The cottage had everything we needed and the location was amazing
- Brendan (9/5): -

- Neil (8/5): - Place was nice, easy to find and access. Bed was comfy and rooms were nicely decorated and homely. Lots of bugs made their way into the house attracted by the light. This is a seasonal issue.
Shower water pressure was really low. Washing your hair would take ages.
- Darrell (2/5): Unloved and unkept! - The location was good set in the countryside in an old vineyard.
Convenient stop over between Perth and Albany.
A good nights sleep and good shower. It was very dark and unclean with old cobwebs everywhere.
We didn’t like to make any food in the kitchen as it felt grubby and poor lighting.
The furnishings looked like they had been dragged from the tip.
Didn’t like the rat box under the porch seat with bait in it, where you would dine/drink outside.
- Judy (9/5): Quiet, remote and relaxing! - Nice cabin, amenities Signage could be improved - not easy to see from road
- Terrence (10/5): Highly recommend if you like to be away from the hussle and bustle!! - Beautiful cabin amongst lovely countryside. So quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable.
- Rosalyn (10/5): Lovely place to stay have booked again and very much recommend :-) -
- Shelley (9/5): A welcome haven for a short stay in our Albany adventure - would recommend - WE arrived at 8.30 pm. Our great hosts had putt the key in an accessible position and left us a little note. The room was lovely and a bonus was that they had left us all the makings for a lovely cooked breakfast. That meant when we got up early we could cook our breakfast and be on our way - fabulous!
Loved the heated towel rail and that the room had everything you needed. Would have liked a nonstick small frypan for cooking eggs and perhaps some basic instruction on microwave (silly little points)
- Kim (10/5): Lovely suite at Hotham Ridge Estate. - Spacious suite. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. It was dark and quiet, which made sleep easy. The suite had everything we needed for our overnight and was fairly close to Barna Mia, which was what we needed to attend a night presentation there. The windows in the bathroom let in cold air. If we had been much colder, the suite would have been too cold. Othewise, it was a great stay.
- Keith (9/5): Spacious and quiet with good facilities - The large kitchen/diner/lounge and spacious bathroom. Location and peacefulness. Appreciated the goodies left for us to eat - eggs, milk, butter, bread and jam. Excellent lighting in the bathroom. Lots of electrical sockets for charging phones etc. Loved the rug in the lounge!! (Keith's wife is writing this review!!) The shower could have been better - disappointing in such a lovely large bathroom!
- Vanessa (8/5): - Lovely quiet stay with beautiful views Nothing
- Hans-joachim (10/5): -
- Jan (9/5): Very enjoyable stay amongst the grapevines. - Location was just out of the main town of Wandering. Places to stay are very hard to find in this small town and Hotham Ridge was just perfect for our needs.
Breakfast provided (cook yourselves) was spot on. Shower pressure could be improved - but we were just thankful to have any sort of shower.

- Anne (6/5): - Adequate
- Helen (9/5): Very relaxing time away. Home away from home beautiful country retreat. - Peaceful location. Comfortable bed and couch and plenty of space to walk around outside.
- GERARD (10/5): Merveilleux séjour - Loin de tout, calme, fleurs et perroquets
- Stephen (8/5): - Cottage was well laid out and comfortable. Parking was good and it is in a delightfully quiet location. Lack of lights in kitchen. Teaspoons were very small and there was no cutting board. Wifi but no internet was frustrating.
- Stephen (9/5): A great base from which to explore Dryandra Woodlands and the Nocturnal Woldlife Experience. - Lovely rural setting. Stylish. Everything we needed, including breakfast. Nothing
- Louise (9/5): -

- Zac (9/5): -
- Herman (9/5): I WOULD COME BACK FOR LONG STAY. - LOVED THE PRIVATE FARM FEEL. NOTHING.
- Brad (7/5): Good - Quiet, secluded. Did not see anyone else at the property the whole time we were there. Cottages are well maintained but the rest of the facility looks like it’s been abandoned. did not see a staff member the whole time. Place could do with some maintenance.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zuzanna (10/5): Rare find- quiet and unique - We were so positively surprised by our stay at the Hotham Ridge Estate — we’ve never experienced an Airbnb quite like this before! Nestled on a peaceful farm with the charm of an old winery, it offered a level of space and freedom that’s hard to come by these days.
We visited in winter, and the cabin was cozy, warm. One of the best parts was just how much land we had to explore with our puppy; he absolutely loved it and had the time of his life roaming freely.
This place is a rare find — quiet, unique, and full of character. Perfect for anyone wanting to unplug, reset, and breathe. It would be perfect if old winery was working hehe but otherwise nothing to be sad about.
- Craig (9/5): Just add water - very comfortable bed
lots of birds in the garden
very nice little cottage Best to arrive with food, some way from a town.
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant - The free eggs and bread were great Cleanliness
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful place to stay
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (9/5): It was lovely and it felt warm - Being in the middle of the nature
- Marco (8/5): Very good - We both love it!! The electric BBQ..which is a minor detail, but would've prefered a gas one.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Glenn (7/5): Good - Nice layout and quiet Weeks of dust and months of cobwebs would have been obvious and quick to clean but was left untouched. Lots of broken glass under bed and expired milk in the fridge
- Monique (7/5): Good -
- Alberto (10/5): Loved it, it will be my first choice now - the quiet, best night's sleep ever! cant think of anyting i didn't like
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Rodman (9/5): Was a lovely getaway - Location was exactly what we wanted, a luxury getaway in the middle of the bush. Check in was super easy and it was really beautiful. Would have been nice if the winery was open, but this didnt take away from the holiday.
- Malachi (5/5): Passable - The location has great potential The vineyard and bistro are long closed and the grounds are in poor condition with little evidence of maintenance. The website and descriptions online are misleading. The accommodation is comfortable but needs a deep clean. .
- セッチ (8/5): Very good - A quiet and comfortable lodge surrounded by the winery's vineyards.
The starry sky looked very beautiful. Wanted some light at the kitchen.
- Malira (7/5): Good -
- Kathleen (10/5): Quiet Quaint Escape to the Country (Less than 2 hours drive from Perth) - The cottage is in a beautiful setting, bushland and a little vineyard at your door. Lovely and quiet with only the birds in the morning. Quaint accommodation decorated with gorgeous little details & everything you need for a weekend away. Aircon, big bathroom with rain shower, boardgames. Kitchen well equipped & breakfast supplies provided (eggs, toast, tea & coffee). The back porch was a nice spot for a wine after a day trip to Lane Poole Reserve. Recommended for solo travellers, couples & small families. Thank you for a perfect stay. Nothing.
- Mark (8/5): Nice getaway, not too far from Perth. - Quite location with lovely birds in the garden. The facilities were good. The winery is closed, which is sad.
- Bec (8/5): Very good -
- Cantori (8/5): Very good - Great apartment, wonderful bathroom. Also, when a tree fell over blocking the access road, a staff member allowed us to exit via the rear driveway. Hotham Ridge winery appears to be abandoned. Vineyards are overrun and unkempt. Not sure what the skeleton staff are up to. We were hoping for cellar door wine tasting or a meal.
- Andre (10/5): Beautiful and charming cottage, set amongst organic vineyards wifh vistas and gorgeous sunsets. - Beautiful and charming cottage. Estate has lovely gardens and gorgeous vistas.
- Keith (9/5): Lovely location in a nice simple cottage. - Very nice private, comfortable place to stay. Could have been cleaner- dust, cobwebs. Dishwashing brush needs replacing. Increased water pressure in the shower would make it great.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - peace and tranquility
- Leonard (8/5): Great - The design Nothing
- Simone (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - Very nice place to stay. Bed very comfy, and a good, large shower. The kitchen could be a bit better stocked with utensils (eg a cheese grater and a sieve), and it would be nice to have cushions for the outdoor seats. The iron and ironing board were a nice surprise. Nothing.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (8/5): Peaceful retreat - A lovely quiet country retreat. Exactly what we wanted.
we were so happy to discover we were provided with fresh eggs and bread for breakfast. To cook ourselves in the morning. Thank you. Sadly the Winery was not open.
- Clem (9/5): Superb -
- Gregory (9/5): Superb -
- Maryanna (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (9/5): Perfect couple’s getaway in beautiful location - Quiet & peaceful. Beautiful surroundings & very comfortable Would have loved a spotlight over the kitchen as it was a bit dark to see
- Mills (10/5): Escape from the city - Very relaxing and enjoyed the privacy.
- Lauren (8/5): A private, peaceful, dog-friendly getaway just outside of the city :) - A beautiful place to escape the city for some peace and quiet. The cottage was spacious, cosy, and everything we’d hoped for a weekend away with our puppy. The delicious fresh eggs and bread for breakfast were an added bonus, and we loved our evening walks through the vineyards! Drawers/corners of rooms could have been cleaner. Would also have been helpful to know the winery and cellar door were not operational prior to booking.
- John (8/5): The rammed earth cottage was comfortable and kitted out with all the basic home comforts required. - Breakfast was good, eggs, beans and bread were a nice touch, maybe add bacon to the supplies just to top it off.
Location was quiet with nice scenery and close to where I had to be. While the cabin was clean it did have a few cobwebs in windows and on some furniture.
- Gail (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, everything we needed, comfortable, lovely bonus of eggs, baked beans and toast for breakfast. Loved our stay. Would go back. Could have been a bit cleaner.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (10/5): Perfect farmstay for a couple - Hotham Ridge is the absolute PERFECT getaway, its not too far from perth but right on the doorstep of Dryandra National park. The house was small but everything my partner and I needed. We wandered the grounds, did hikes, and went into the grounds at night to stargaze. It was honestly one of the best weekends we have ever had, and its because of how gorgeous this place was! We met the lovely farm dog Betty, and the fresh eggs and bread in the morning was absolutely amazing! Highly highly recommend, thank you to the owners, this place is wonderful and we plan on coming back! everything was perfect! no negatives here
- John (10/5): Exceptional -

- Tabitha (9/5): Superb - Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, great area for some day drives to local towns
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Violet (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. - No brekky Parking closer to unit would have been handy……..
- Susan (7/5): Peaceful and comfortable stay - Very peaceful location and nice outdoor seating area. Comfortable bed and bedding. Good shower and spacious wet room. Well located between Albany and Perth. Lots of mosquitos prevented us from sitting outside. Didn’t meet anyone else there. The place seemed deserted.
- Bombara (8/5): Lovely peaceful place. - Loved the rammed earth and recycled windows and doors. Loved the rye bread and eggs left for breakfast. Loved the gardens.
- Peter (9/5): I would go back - The room, view and breakfast
- Shanice (10/5): A beautiful cottage in the fields - My partner and I drove up from Perth to break the routine of our daily life. I do enjoy quiet, isolated towns. We visited the Medieval fayre, which I highly recommend for families as well. It had a calm, peaceful atmosphere with quite affordable stalls.
After a stunning drive past the open fields, we arrived at the beautiful cottage Nina. The sounds of various birds welcomed us into a cosy, unique, and heart-warming environment.
There was a lot of attention to detail. We had bread, eggs, butter, and milk in the fridge. The bathroom was fully equipped and clean. The bed was comfortable with an ancient ambience.. so romantic!
The backyard was miles of nothingness.
I appreciate every moment, and I will certainly be returning for a star gazing night with my partner. Thank you
- Meredith (9/5): Lovely quiet location in gorgeous cottage. - Cottage was lovely and comfortable with air conditioning. Mosquitos but that can’t be helped.
- Chenelle (8/5): Peaceful and comfortable country stay - There was a lovely spot near the property's pond that had a great view to watch the sunset in the evening. The whole place was very quiet and peaceful. The food provided to make a simple but delicious cooked breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. The facilities listed an oven in the accommodation, however there was no oven (only a stove top or microwave).
- Jade (7/5): Nice place but needs some care and cleaning - The cottage it's self was really lovely, beds comfortable, wifi was good and you can tell at some point thought and care was put into it. We were looking for some serenity and definitely found it. Also aircon is very good! You also get your own private courtyard which was nice. The property is a little run down and over grown. The cottage was nice and had good facilities however a lot of dead flies, built up dust in every corner including caked on top of the fan so we couldn't use it, and encountered a few cockroaches we had to catch. Bathroom window slats were completely open to the elements so many bugs came into the cottage. It needs a thorough clean right before each guest arrives. I feel like this place has a lot of potential but needs a deep clean. A shame because the setting and atmosphere was lovely on the property.
- Eugene (8/5): Very good -
- Lilly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bridget (9/5): Lovely place, nice and quiet - The owners supplied eggs, bread and baked beans
- Xylazing (5/5): Disappointing, run down and in the middle of nowhere. - Quaint little cottage Not advertised well. Expected a working winery. Seemed neglected and unused for a long time. Grounds overgrown, place deserted. Cobwebs and insects in the cottage. WiFi advertised but didn't work. Breakfast was included but consisted of a couple of eggs each with 4 small slices of frozen bread and some baked beans. Not really as described.
- Tim (10/5): Our stay was short but excellent in privacy and environment. - Perfect location for our short stay. The only thing we missed was not having a small carton of fresh milk.
No problems and thank you. Very happy with the stay and so comfortable.
- Prem (5/5): It would be better to stay in a township and travel to a working winnery - Place was clean and comfortable We had the expectation that it was a working winery - not so,
No dinning facilities at the place or nearby, closest one was 45 minutes from venue on a Monday.
Not able to taste any wines etc.
Very isolated place on route to Perth
- Kaitor137 (9/5): Superb - Just what we wanted!
- Mitch (7/5): Good - Self contained cottage had all the facilities needed
Nestled in bushland
Peaceful Had no phone reception so when the wifi wasn't working which it didn't on the first night, for the internet, we could not search destination or plan the day trips further
- Derek (1/5): We didn’t know what to do so we went and found alternative accommodation so we will not be paying for Hotham Ridge as it - We arrived around 12.30 at the property to find the gate locked and padlocked with a note from bailiffs this note was dated the 7th November so we decided to leave and go into Wandering to find alternative accommodation which cost us 175 dollars. We couldn’t phone anyone as our phones could only get incoming calls so we were stranded someone phoned us around 7.00pm that evening wanting to know when we were arriving and i told him about the locked gate etc.
