Guest Reviews
- Chantelle (10/5): I loved it, we had a blast would certainly book again staff were lovely! - It was lovely, very relaxing even got to see horses and lots of kangaroos! Our bed had hair in it, we were told that the cleaner would come but the cleaner did not come.
- Martin (8/5): -
- eunae (6/5): One stay enough! - Watching kangaroos and lit the firepit ! Good experience ever. The house was not clean and not maintained well. We couldn't find a heater and the house was so cold at night.
- Kevin (9/5): Great place to spend the weekend as a couple (+ a furry friend). We got to finally experience what it’s like being in a - Nice private location. Good for a quiet relaxing getaway. Owner is very responsive. Well furnished with most things you need. The water tank of the breville coffee machine had some algae growing in it
- Nik (9/5): Bit expensive - Peaceful engagement
- Jelena (9/5): - Location
- Josh (10/5): - Perfect location, dogs were aloud to stay plus it had everything we needed and more. good price and the fire was a nice touch Electric to the cabin wasn't enough so found ourselves having to manage what we turned on at the same time so it didn't trip.
No shops around but only a small inconvenience.
- Maria (10/5): Wonderful family memories made at Bluebird tiny home. - The tiny home was very clean had so many amenities inside for its size. The host was just wonderful. Leaving complementary wine and chocolate for us, which was a lovely touch. It was enjoyed while we sat outside around the fire pit under the amazing night sky. The location is just fantastic. Quiet, and private. Red bird is next door but with quite a lot of open space to share we didn’t feel on top of one another. If your kids like to fish, the dam is just there in front of blue bird. You can sit by the fire and keep your eye on them with no worries. There is fish in the dam as my son had a few bites but unfortunately they got away! They loved it. The stars were stunning on a clear night and the full moon lit the property well while we kept warm by the fire roasting marshmallows!
The shower is awesome! If you don’t want to get your hair wet from the large shower head above, you can adjust the flow to make the water come out from the wall horizontally instead! I want one!!!
A fantastic two day break, my kids adored it.
It is tight for 4 people and a dog but for the two day break in this lovely little spot it was worth it. We will be back, maybe we will stay in the larger container home on the hill and stay for longer. Thank you Deb for your hospitality, wonderful family memories made at bluebird. We loved everything about this place if you haven’t already gathered :)
If I were to give any feedback it would be that the fold out bed was a little too firm to be comfortable for a nights sleep. If we were to stay again we would bring something to lay on top of it to make it more comfortable.
Can’t fault anything else.
- Phyllis (9/5): Great retreat, a secluded spot nestled between multiple accessible towns. - Better insulated and more spacious than expected, Deb was very helpful and responsive, great amenities - more high tech than expected. Loved the coffee machine and complementary coffee beans! Hand-held showerhead didn't work, shower was quite fancy and tricky to use. One minor leak in the bathroom roof during heavy rain. Bottom bunk mattress a bit too soft, loose staples under slats of top bunk.
- Tanja (8/5): Very good -
- Natalia (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing and clean. - We loved arriving to the beautiful landscape and gorgeous tiny home. We had everything we needed.
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jack (7/5): Good -
- Fiona (10/5): Cute and cosy in a peaceful setting. The property owners communication was excellent. -
- Arlene (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): Fun, comfortable and welcoming. - Had an amazing time with my fur baby, she enjoyed every second. The homestead is amazing. Perfect location and perfect little get away from the rat race we call Sydney. Will stay again soon Absolutely nothing!
- Taya (8/5): Comfortable, clean & homely getaway (plus is dog friendly) - Beautiful location for a weekend get away, highly recommended! The only thing it could’ve used was a bigger heater
- Carmela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (8/5): Great well equipped home for a short stay in the country - Great location to get away from it all - our dog loved it
The house is little so it was lovely to sit outside around the fire pit at night and look at the stars
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmin (9/5): This idyllic little hideaway was exactly what was needed to escape the city - Love place!
- Amelia (9/5): Superb - Loved the peaceful spot with great firepit, plenty of seating and everything you might need. I found the double bed to be quite comfy. It was lovely and warm inside in the mornings, even though cold outside! Overall a lovely stay. The neighbouring cabin is right next door. I didn't realise it would be so close. Great if you're booking both, but a little too close for me for a secluded getaway. It did change the vibe (I missed in the description we had a neighbour at all).
- Padmini (8/5): Very good -
- Dinah (8/5): Very good -
- Juliana (8/5): Very good - Went for two nights stay with my hubby and two small children (3 and 1 year old) and the size of the house is good enough to accommodate us. Our mornings were lovely as we get to see sunrise right in front of the house and if you’re lucky you will spot a family of kangaroos around the area. I had my morning coffee watching about 8 kangaroos playing and eating on the spacious yard, it was blissful. Fire pit is great. We had a picnic at about 5pm when the weather wasnt so hot anymore and it was lovely. Deb was very kind and provided enough information regarding the stay so I am really grateful for the seamless experience. Thank you so much! Be sure to have some plans to do during the day as it can get very hot to stay inside at noon (no air-condition). There is also no wifi but mobile connection is available. No bbq pit so you have to bring yours.
- Mary (8/5): We loved our short trip, had a chance to see the sky at night and enjoy spending time with the horses which were nearby - Perfect location, and nice to spend weekend away from city… definitely will do it again
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The freedom
The fire pit
The space Nothing for us. But the 2 tiny houses are very close together if you had bad neighbours it could effect your stay but ours were lovely.
- Shilu (9/5): Superb -
- Sabbir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (5/5): Lovely location - but beware of the size of this place, it's too tiny and - We liked the out door area and the view - really lovely spot. The grounds of the farm are well maintained and easy to access. The fire pit and outdoor seating was lovely and the pond was too.
The bathroom was also nice. Too small. I know if says tiny house in the listing, but this was too cramped to be comfortable!! We were there on a windy weekend, so couldn't be outside, which was a shame - but we really struggled to be inside too.
This place advertises itself as able to accomodate 4 people!! NO WAY! 2 people MAX would be comfortable. We were 3 and it was really cramped.
The wind also caused a loud buzzing noise which made it impossible to sleep. We told the owner but got no reaction at all.
It wasn't the cleanest place I've ever been either. It wasn't horrible, but certainly not what we consider to be clean. It actually looked like the beds had recently been used and then not cleaned.
We found the beds quite uncomfortable too.
We also found that the whole structure moved. It isn't on a solid foundation, just some wheels and stands, so when you move around the space, the whole house rocks from side to side. If you're lying in bed and someone goes the bathroom - you're rocking back and forth as they move.
- Cooper (8/5): Very good -
- Timmy412 (7/5): A lovely tiny home that that made me feel at home. Deb was a superb host. - The tiny home was a very relaxing and peaceful place to be with all the amenities that you need. Somewhere to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors. It could be a little cleaner, but it may have been due to cleaner's calendar error as the other tiny home next door was a bit better.
