- Therese (8/5): Great for a getaway in the north of the state - The Stud farm is fabulous with the beautiful Arabian horses to admire. The location is perfect for exploring the area. N/A
- Jennie (10/5): Quirky Comfort - Loved the quirky experience of staying on a farm in a cute 'cubby-like' building... we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Our host Alison was friendly and helpful and was on the spot if we needed anything.
Thanks Alison
- Mariia (10/5): Perfect farm stay - Amazing experience, we enjoyed every moment !
Gorgeous farm stay experience, horses, chickens, cats and dogs. My 7 y.o had a blast
Alison , thanks a lot ! None

- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pragati (5/5): Passable - The location was nice and the host was very friendly. The overall experience was very underwhelming and not at all worth the price. The property on which the cabin is located is not maintained at all.
- Devita (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (5/5): Overall a disappointing stay, a beautiful setting and the owner is very friendly and accomodating but there is no care i - The setting is picturesque, the owner, Alison, is very friendly and accomodating. The animals are friendly and love a pat. The furniture needs updating, the beds and couches are old and not the comfortable. There is a pin hole leak in the kitchen tap and, when told about it, the owner was already aware of it and did not seem to mind or be considering a replacement tap.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Laura (8/5): Really lovely farm stay. Exceptional service and cosy space. We will def be back. -
- Malcome (10/5): Exceptional - Being out in the country..waking up to the birds and a horse out the front door..owner was lovely and very helpful
- Matthias (9/5): Great country stay - Nice stay in the country, impressive night skies, majestic horses, friendly cats, dogs, cows, and most importantly, a really great host.

- Tom (9/5): Great place to stay in the Labrina wine country. - Excellent location, converted shipping containers sited on working horse stud, located within easy reach of the many wineries in the area, hosts very friendly and chatty. Cottage was rustic in keeping with the rural setting, features a kitchenette, lounge and two beds, bed was very comfortable and the heat pump made the cottage very cosy, excellent WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and would return again. The path from the parking area to the cottage is a bit eroded and can get slippery.
- Mandy (10/5): Lovely little getaway with everything you might need - This was a return stay to the property for us after a year or two and it did not disappoint. This is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in the area. It is lovely and cosy and well-maintained. Exactly as the photos depict. There is also now very good wi-fi access at the property, making it easier to stay connected if you choose to!
- Deborah (8/5): Very pleasant and would be happy to recommend. - Very comfortable stay, great setting and very good hostess and so friendly and adorable pets too. Pathway to the unit was a bit hard for me to manage
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - We could bring our dogs, it was lovely and quiet and an easy drive to some lovely attractions such as treetops adventure park, wineries, beach, lavender farm etc. Alison was a fantastic host. We took our food and the kitchen was well equipped with a set of hotplates, pots, frying pan, glass ware, crockery and cutlery. The BBQ on the deck was handy too. The fireplace is out of action but the heat pump warms the place up nicely. One double bed and one queen. Perfect for what we needed.
- Shona (5/5): Passable -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Tina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Giulia (8/5): Very good - The apartment was lovely and cozy, bed warm and comfy which was what we needed after a long day of hiking. It was lovely meeting Alison, definitely the best part about our stay. if I was to come back in the area, I’d definitely come here.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Skye (7/5): was very relaxing - the owner was very friendly and had beautiful views of the horses and was clean and tidy nothing
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): Cosy country retreat. Out of the ordinary and an excellent experience - Wonderful host. Friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and nice views.
Very comfortable bed.
There is a full kitchen and outside BBQ. Bring food or it's a half-hour drive to the nice pub at Scottsdale (bistro as usual in Tasmania closes 8pm). Leak in one window, but that is being fixed
- Danah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katy (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (5/5): great location but there are issues - location wise, it is near some great wineries. The accomodation is next to the residential property so I can’t say there is remoteness/privacy that I expected. There is no wifi which is fine but there is absolutely no phone reception. I found the bed sheets/blankets to be smelly and in need of a wash. I did not find the stay value for money.
- Taylor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Penton (10/5): Very please with stay. Alison is a sensational host - We had a great time. Alison really went above and beyond for us to make it extra special. Would definitely recommend.
- Jane (8/5): Rural accommodation close to Launceston - Quiet farm location with all facilities Tap water was not good, maybe a filter on tap for drinking
- Brenda (9/5): Would stay again. Excellent venue for a retreat. Enjoyed the interaction with humans and animals. - This place is hidden in the rural area away from town life. There are animals everywhere and the flora is spectacular. Very private. The hosts were friendly and shared some information with us concerning what they do and the local area. A real country retreat. There was no internet connection. However, the host was more than willing to let us sit on their home verandah to access their wifi. However, we survived without it for the duration of our stay. We were not able to light the log fire, but there was a problem with it smoking the guest house out. However, the air conditioning and natural sunlight made the guest house quite comfy.
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional - Alison was lovely and very helpful. That there was no WiFi
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional - Alison was so lovely and very helpful. No Wi Fi.
