- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): - The scenery, the peace and quiet, the sky at night. Lovely little cottage on the hill. The dogs loved meeting the horses. I'm not sure if it had internet and the TV couldnt read my usb movies.
- Meg (9/5): - Very good breakfast, well-appointed and comfortable cottage. Beautiful outlook and location.
- Brad (8/5): - Location NA
- Danielle (10/5): Simply Exceptional - The photos of the property are great but in real life, this location is outstanding! We spent every daylight moment on the verandah, taking in the endless view of the distant mountains and were entertained by the kangaroos taking shortcuts through the horse paddocks. The cottage itself is exceptionally clean, well appointed to meet all your needs, and very cosy and comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly, even Milo the dog! Our only regret is that we didn't book another night.
- Sue (10/5): Perfect - It’s a great self-contained space. We really appreciated it that it is a little cottage and very private. It’s great that it’s pet friendly, well equipped, perfect for breaking up a long car journey between Sydney and Melbourne.
A great location in close proximity to lovely country towns and beautiful countryside.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Lynette (9/5): Just the right place for us - All ok Nothing
- Geoff (10/5): Nice cottage in a quiet location. - Warby Cottage is really quiet at night and has everything needed for a short stay, as well as great views. The kitchen is well equipped and the complimentary breakfast and fruit are a nice inclusion. Nil.
- Rowena (10/5): Beautiful location in a fabulous cottage - The property was very well appointed and comfortable. It was a beautiful peaceful location. Well laid out. Nothing. It was lovely
- Jenny (9/5): A peaceful, gentle little find in a beautiful country setting - Beautiful outlook in such a peaceful environment.
Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was great and the cottage was very cute, clean and very comfortable. Nothing not to like
- Geoff (8/5): - Well met. Bushland locale. Peaceful with wonderful views.
- Wendy (10/5): Relaxing with a beautiful country atmosphere - The cottage was clean & very comfortable, and being able to watch the horses & enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the verandah was a bonus. The Warby ranges are beautiful.
- Gary (9/5): Great location with pet friendly accommodation and an outstanding view - Host was welcoming and helpful. Location was ideal in that it was out of town with plenty of room and an outstanding view of the valley and mountains in the background. Property was clean and tidy and very importantly, catered for me travelling with my dog. Very peaceful location while being only about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Wangaratta
- tania (9/5): Cosy cottage with stunning views - Cleanliness, location, stunning views, prompt responses, continental breakfast
- Paula (10/5): Quiet location to relax - Loved the quiet and the view

- Laura (9/5): Wonderful cottage. Great stay. - Beautiful cottage. Had all the required facilities and comforts. Cottage was clean and well equiped. Great that it was pet friendly. Lovely staff. Enjoyed the stay. Nothing.
- Anne (7/5): - Location and outlook. Carpet on the lounge floor was not the best. We came with pets but our pets were highly averse to walking over previous stained areas of the carpet. Hard flooring would be better.
- Suz (10/5): - Beautiful location with quiet surrounds and close to the local town.
- Deborah (9/5): We had a lovely overnight stay and the wildlife and views are spectacular! - The breakfast was simple but a good start for the day. The cottage was peaceful, very clean and tidy. Everything we required was provided for an overnight stay, and being pet friendly enabled us to include our dog. Thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent views and sunrise in the morning. The only thing we would suggest was perhaps turning up the water temp in the shower. It was a nice shower but just not warm enough for the chilly evenings/mornings.
- Steve (10/5): An excellent stay and we will look forward to having extra time there. - The magnificent views, the peace and tranquility of the farm stay and the wildlife and domestic animals too. In all honesty there was nothing to dislike.
- Margo (9/5): Great stay as always - bonus marks for the Flame Robin ! - Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Nothing
- Drew (8/5): - Great location. Awesome views.
- Susan (10/5): Comfortable country cottage - This was a comfortable, peaceful cottage, very well equipped with beautiful views. There were horses in the paddock as well as early morning kangaroos.

- Tranby (9/5): Our stay was short but very enjoyable and we made the most of the beautiful surroundings. - Peaceful, quiet, we were able to see the surroundings by walking and running.
The views were stunning and the area backing onto the bushland was very pretty. The only thing that needs attention is the toilet seat was loose and the decking boards were flimsy because of their age and there were some nails sticking up.
- Asanka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rob (10/5): Enjoyed the tranquility and country air. - So private, quiet and peaceful. Quaint country cottage on the edge of a national park. Birds, kangaroos, horses, rabbits and more all around. Stars are so bright at night. So much better than a motel room. Suitable for 2 people. Good continental breakfast provided and cooking facilities. Comfortable bed. Although there is mobile coverage, there was no WiFi.
- Newell (9/5): Highly recommend - Location was excellent - friendly, superb views & very quiet.
Continental breakfast was great.

- Mary (9/5): Superb - Fabulous little cottage in a gorgeous location right beside the gorgeous Warby-Ovens National Park perfect for one or a couple and pet friendly. Views forever out to Mt Buffalo, Bogong and the Alps. Very peaceful and private only 10 minutes to Wangaratta township. Highly recommend for a weekend or mid-week getaway to decompress.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Guenter (9/5): Be in nature, with horses and kangaroos nearby - Exceptional location in nature, with horses and kangaroos around. Cottage nicely furnished for a very homely feeling. WiFi would have been nice but lack of it was no problem in the age of mobile data.
- Anna (10/5): Gorgeous cottage, perfect views, very relaxing - It was a beautiful little cottage perfect for a weekend getaway. The views were incredible and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Nothing
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, cosy, quiet and squeaky clean. Fluffy white towels was an added bonus.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Love the peaceful location. Cottage feels like home. We could live there!!! The only thing that I would improve would be the Shower, the pressure wasn't great.
Add a smart TV to enable guest to access their netflix accounts etc.
And It would be cool to have a bath on the deck to fill up and sit in to watch the sunset.
But none of that ruined our stay and wouldn't. We will definitely be back.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Very serene location only a short drive into town. Excellent place for our stop over returning to the Blue Mountains from a week in Melbourne. Would certainly stay again.
Very comfortable bed and whole cottage very well equipped, very clean, beautiful rural views, comfortable place to stay. There wasn't anything to complain about.
- Mi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wes (8/5): Very good -
- Kathy (9/5): Perfect break on way from Sydney to Melbourne. Would recommend. - Lovely views and very peaceful. Cottage had everything we needed and continental breakfast included was a bonus. All good. No complaints.

- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): Fabulous - Perfect sunrise!
- Collins (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful sanctuary! - The whole property is gorgeous! Sounded by natural beauty and teeming with wildlife. The horses are beautiful!
The cottage is clean and comfortable- it feels like you are at home.
The hosts are so lovely and accommodating. Thank you!
- Adelaide (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful comfortable country cottage situated on a property with horses and kookaburras and blue fairy wrens - you feel like you're in the heart of the Australian country living full McLeod's Daughters fantasy but then you're a 10 minute drive to all the luxuries and convenience of Wangaratta!! Lots of restaurants and cafes if you don't feel like cooking but everything you need if you do!! Just perfect!! It's important to note there is NO WIFI so prepare for that before you come. Download what you need or go for a digital detox. There is a spectacularly picturesque porch to read on and a great view!!
- Janice (7/5): Average - The view and the setting The bed was small and the bedroom rather poky
- Margo (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (9/5): Cute cottage in a lovely location. Great views towards the high country. - Great location just outside of town but very much in the country. Enjoyed waking up to horses and kangaroos.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Fantastic cottage with amazing hosts. - Location location location. Such a prime location for us as it was close enough to town if we needed anything but out enough to have a great country feel up on the rise. We were able to take up some extra sight seeing and more Silo Art from here as it was quite central to where we were keen to go.
- Dave (10/5): Nice way to imagine staying on your very own Aussie horse ranch with spectacular views! - Great way to spend the weekend away from home. Definitely did not regret choosing this accommodation over a motel or hotel or lodge. Fantastic views, wide open space with horses and kangaroos. Loved the personal touch of providing a continental breakfast. Nice to escape from everyone and enjoy without bothering anyone. Nothing, it was lovely!
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Ron_and_margaret (8/5): Very good - Quiet and peaceful. Great views. Quite comfortable.
- Kjbagger (10/5): Breathtaking views and spacious cottage. - We loved everything about the Warby Cottage! The cottage is on a sloping hillside overlooking a valley with fields and mountains as a stunning back drop. We were greeted on arrival by the host (Darren) and enjoyed watching the thunderstorm in the mountains from the front porch as darkness set in. In the fields around the cottage we quietly watched kangaroos, wallabies, foxes, rabbits, horses and numerous birds enjoying the quiet surroundings and a 6AM we got up to see the sun rise behind the mountains. The cottage is a complete house with PLENTY of space to enjoy weeks of relaxation and the breakfast, tea/coffee, juice and fruit was great. All in all a place we heartedly recommend and hope to re-visit. Nothing. Everything was amazing. One might suggest adding a guest book so you can track all the wonderful people from all over the world visiting the cottage (we're from Denmark :-)).
- Joan (10/5): You know, it wasn’t bad at all! - The cottage has everything you need and more. Ideal for rejuvenating the spirit. Surrounded by the delights of creation, mountains and valleys, horses and wildlife, birds visiting to welcome guests, and more. Not having more time to enjoy the blue wrens splashing water everywhere at the bird bath. The glorious colours of the bee eaters, the magpies morning melody. All that would be hard to find fault with. Sure beats looking out your front door only to find an uninterrupted view of your car parked!
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were absolutely lovely the property was exquisite and the cabin was just beautiful and clean Nothing
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful, relaxing and super clean with a comfy bed. Nil.
- Roger (9/5): Superb - Lovely rural cottage with a wonderful view over farmland towards Mt Buffalo. Very clean. We enjoyed the homely decor. Comfortable couches. Nicely appointed kitchen. Great shower. The host was a pleasure to deal with.
- Deirdre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): Super lovely farm stay - Such a lovely short stay and very comfortable
- Alfred (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (9/5): Peaceful - Peaceful. Sitting on the rise of the hill so great views. Comfort all over. Warm shower
- Martin (10/5): Just perfect for our short stay - Perfect location and friendly owner. Couldn’t have asked for more.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (9/5): Superb - Lovely quiet setting
- Kerry (10/5): We had a lovely stay my stupid dog had an accident inside because the kangaroo scared him when we first arrived - Everything beautiful place and it just filled the spot Even the horses and kangaroos were awesome
- Gwen (8/5): Very good - Location
View was exceptional. No visual contact with staff.
Front sliding door locks need replacing.
- Kamea (10/5): Nostalgic Wangaratta stay - The view! As a horse person myself waking up and seeing the gorgeous furry faces out in the paddock was a great joy. Also hotel style hygiene amenities, continental breakfast and a full suite of cds to choose from makes for an incredibly nostalgic, beautiful stay. Also for my fellow bird lovers there is a great selection of local birds that hang about the property 😄 The fact we couldn't stay longer. Cannot wait to be back!
- Patricia (8/5): Lovely for a couple looking for a quiet place - Beautiful outlook Would have loved an outside barbecue or fire pit
- John (9/5): Great value for money - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Warby Cottage. We should have booked for a second night. The views from the cottage were amazing.
The cottage was very comfortable and clean. Having our old dog beong able to stay was an additional bonis.
We would recommend Warby Cottage as a great place to stay.
- Igor (8/5): Very good -
- Melzyw (8/5): Farm stay in the Warby ranges. - Aspect was terrific, out of town, rural and quiet. Great neighbours, in horses and wildlife.
Fully self contained cottage with everything you need. Basic continental breakfast included. Good selection of teas and coffees.
Would make a fabulous spot to stop and explore Wangaratta, a little home away from home, recommend! Not really a dislike, Took a while to heat up cottage as it was a very cold day, however, there was nice extra blanket to put over you while watching TV until it warmed up.
- Shane (9/5): Superb -
- Carl (7/5): Great farm stay. - Beautiful views and very quiet. Comfortable accommodation for a farm stay but the bed is on the smaller side. The bed could be bigger.
- Greer (9/5): How's the serenity! - Attention to detail to make the stay comfortable. The cabin was clean, a very usable kitchen, the bedding was great quality. Friendly welcome message and great communication. We found the bed very firm, but appreciate that bed comfort is subjective and you can't please everyone.
- Emma (10/5): A perfect short break at Warby Cottage was just what I needed! - Gorgeous cottage with everything you could want or need for a country holiday.
- Zixuan (10/5): Exceptional -
