Guest Reviews
- Terri (10/5): So perfect. We love this property and the tranquillity of the location. - This property was gorgeous, it was so comfortable to stay in and was so peaceful. We stayed there as a family of 5 adults for a wedding and we had the very best time. We would have loved to have used the fireplace. It was actually quite cool on one of the nights but it’s has restricted usage times.

- Doris (10/5): Peaceful - Fabulous cottage. Loved the privacy and the open fire. Loved being right next to the vines. Loved the outdoor deck. The place was beautifully renovated and very spacious for me and my friends. Advertised a hot tub but we couldn't find the hot tub. Perhaps the listing description needs to change? I contacted Weekenda about the hot tub but received no reply.

- Fiona (10/5): - Very comfortable, clean, well appointed cottage
- Merryn (10/5): - The place was clean and comfortable beautiful looking out over the vines ,watching the wildlife
- Bernard (9/5): - Bird poo over outdoor chairs
- WILLIAM (10/5): Fantastic place! We have left with some great memories - Location, view, wildlife around and on the property. Being set-in a vineyard was spectacular. House was very modern, interior very clean, heating was excellent. Fire place amazing. Lovey kitchen. Really beautiful place. We will never forget our lovely weekend here at Kinloch. The verandah/balcony was covered in bird excrement which should always be cleaned away for guests staying. It did cause us to limit our time on the balcony. Lights would flicker intermittently during the stay. Middle room light switch had no cover plate, the electrical wall socket had also been damaged and was pressed into the wall. Front door lock is odd- not really able to lock with the key.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Klara (10/5): Beautiful stay in the Hunter! - Loved this place! The cottage was stunning, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Cannot fault it!
Perfect location to be near Bimbagen Palmers Lane wedding venue
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent property close to all the Greta ideas, good walking distance to Bimbadgen which was the purpose of our stay - Great location
Super quiet and tranquil
Facilities and kitchen set up had everything we needed
So well set up Would have liked undercover parking for our cars
- Carsten (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vanessa (1/5): Bad -
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Loved sitting on the back deck looking out to the vineyards and kangaroos.
- Madeline (10/5): Perfect stay. The house and property is beautiful - It’s even more beautiful in real life. We LOVED our stay! Will definitely be booking this every time I visit Hunter valley in future Nothing
- Genevieve (10/5): Best place we've stayed at in wine country! - Staying right on a vineyard, so many animals around, gorgeous grounds and a really well kept property! 2 bathrooms as well so made getting ready super easy.
- Donna (9/5): Superb -
- Funtravel_62 (10/5): Location was close to wineries; outlook was beautiful; wished we could stay longer - Location was great, views were beautiful across vineyards & mountains. Very pretty. N/A
- Bernard (8/5): Very good -
- Lynette (9/5): Enjoyable stay in a great location. - The location was excellent in relation to being close to many different wineries and restaurants but being on a property, it was quiet and overlooked a vineyard. Birds and kangaroos added to the ambience. The cottage had been renovated nicely with a lovely aspect from the deck. The beds were comfortable and there were great curtains on the windows. Firewood was provided for outdoor fire and indoor fireplace. There were a couple of maintenance issues with locks broken on a door and window. Body wash/ shampoo was only provided for one bathroom and not for the other. There was a coffee pod machine but only 2 pods provided (our booking was for 6 people for 5 days). Nescafe instant coffee was provided. Small things, but for the cost of stay, it would have been nice to have these supplied as nearest supermarket is in Cessnock.
- Kathleen (9/5): A peaceful and memorable stay in a beautiful homely cottage in the heart of the Hunter. - The location is stunning, right on a vineyard, beautiful sunsets and kangaroos hopping by. The cottage itself was beautifully clean, well equipped and very homely. such a lovely stay. Nothing, it was fantastic.
- Joshua (9/5): lovely - clean, comfortable relaxing, close to wedding venue nothing
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Kirstie (10/5): stunning home - beautifully maintained property in a stunning location close to restaurants, pubs and wineries. Extremely clean as well! The kitchen is well stocked with basics and all appliances and crockery. Really great value for money
