Guest Reviews
- Scott (1/5): Overpriced no service not a hotel - It is an authentic colonial hacienda. The shower was very poor. We were the only guests. At night you are left with no one from the hotel onsite in a very remote and isolated location. There is nowhere here else to get meals but the meals are always late in fact no one showed up to make the included breakfast. For what you get it is extremely overpriced. It's twice the price of the best hotel in town. We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one because they could not provide the basic services such as food. So far the owner has not answered our complaints and has not reimbursed the second night.
- Carmen (7/5): - La historia y el paisaje del lugar Los baños
- Alejandra (9/5): Superb - The staff is awesome, love the property they have an orchard where they grow vegetables they use in the kitchen. It’s very authentic and rustic, I’ve been there twice! Thanks for everything Bathroom could be cleaner and better
- Brent (1/5): Worst booking/check-in services I have had for years. - Book with caution! Booking was accepted, and then cancelled leaving us without a hotel that night, last minute without warning due to no one being able to "receive us?! It would have been fine to cancel/not accept the booking if it had been done in a reasonable timeframe, but the last minute was rubbish and left us without accommodation for the night. Not cool. Reservations, last-minute cancellation. They should never cancel hours after a booking is confirmed on the system. The gentleman who called at the last minute was unapologetic and did not seek to resolve the issue.
- Jane (10/5): A restful authentic hacienda experience, full of flowers, and quiet, and beauty. - I have a special love for Spanish Colonial Haciendas, and have stayed at quite a few, but Hacienda Pisoje exceeded my expectations. What I loved was the absolute authenticity of this hacienda from the 1700's. You definitely can feel like you have stepped back in time staying here. The rooms are large and filled with period piece furnishings. The gardens are just heavenly! Pablo, part of the owner's family, was completely attentive to what I might enjoy doing, and drove me into Popayan (the hacienda is 20 minutes outside of the city) for visiting the City. Popayan itself was a lovely surprise - it is a beautiful city, with fine restaurants and museums and galleries. Cristina, the cook at Hacienda Pisoje, made a delicious breakfast every morning, served with a beautiful smile. This is not a flashy resort experience. It is a beautiful authentic hacienda restful respite.
- Joy (10/5): great place to unwind and engage with nature - peaceful, well maintained nothing
- Teho (9/5): Superb - A sanctuary where you can totally rest and reflect. Sleeping in the restored 18th century Hacienda was really a memorable experience. The road to the Hacienda was bumpy, and it took about 20 minutes to get to the town. The rugs in the room need to be cleaned.
- Julián (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evelyn (10/5): Exceptional - absolutely everything is magical in this place! I loved all of it!
- Juliana (4/5): Disappointing - People working here were very nice and attentive. The hotel/hacienda in general feels old and the rooms have a really bad moldy smell that made it difficult for me to have a good night sleep.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
