• Hugo (10/5): Schöner Bauernhof und nette Familie - Wir haben zweimal auf dem Bauernhof der Familie Müller übernachtet und haben es richtig genossen und uns sehr erholt! Es war ein tolles Erlebnis! Herr und Frau Müller sind sehr nett und haben unser Erlebnis auf dem Bauernhof zu etwas Besonderem gemacht! Sie haben uns alles gezeigt und unsere Kinder bei der Fütterung der Tiere einbezogen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön und bequem. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich mit Produkte aus der Region. Alles wird mit Liebe und Freude gestaltet. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

• Melissa (10/5): Aunthentic farm stay - We loved the experience of staying on a farm! It was one of our favorite stays during our two weeks in Europe. We especially loved the cows, bunnies, dog and cat. The views from the road leading up the farm are spectacular. Beds were so comfortable! There were even treats left on the bed. Excellent host! Everything was great.

• Veihi (1/5): Lovely stay ruined by all-night party held by nighbours (not B&B guests) - Bühl 3 B&B is an inexpensive B&B located in the beautiful Swiss countryside. The owners speak at least English and German, maybe other languages too. Our room was well prepared and the shared bathroom was clean. The owners showed us how they milk their cows and even let us taste some fresh milk. They were super nice and friendly. After arriving at our room, after a day of hiking, we noticed a group of people outside the B&B having some drinks around a fire pit. Around 21:00, the group moved inside to an apartment beneath our room in the B&B. As the night went on they started laughing, shouting, banging on furniture. At midnight I stomped on the floor. They were not quiet. I avoid conflict so much that we continued trying to sleep, regularly being woken up by the shouting until the people finally left at 4:00. I texted the owner at 22:30, 1:00 and 4:00 to first ask, the complain about the noise. She responded at 9:00 the next day saying she was sorry for the noise. She left a plate of fruit, bread and cheese outside our door as an apology. As we were leaving, the owner told us the people downstairs are not guests but in fact live there. She said the neighbours had never had a big party before. Had we not been kept up all night by the people downstairs, I have no doubt we would have had a great time at Bühl 3 B&B.

• Vadzim (10/5): Exceptional - I was looking for a some accommodation with affordable price, rather difficult task for Switzerland. So the price was the main search criterion, so I booked this place. But apart from more than affordable price, this farm stay is really cool! Beautiful location on the hill in the Emmental, owners are friendly, free parking. You can see some pigs, cows, so you are close to the nature. The room and bathroom were very clean, wifi fast. I find such cool place even better than hotels in the city! Would definitely stay again there!

• Brigolily (10/5): Sleep like a baby in an authentic farmhouse - I slept like a baby in this authentic farmhouse, in which I felt like going back in time (but with a new bathroom). There is something peaceful about this place, which is not about luxury and extras, but about grounding and connection. The hosts were welcoming and warmhearted and the breakfast was made of local products. They farm cows, pigs and spelt, and you can visit a cheese making demonstration in the village (lovely 20-Minute-Walk) and a mill in the region (accessible by bus). It's also a great place to stay if you go to kreativtraining.ch. The bed was great for my size, but tell the host in case you are tall and want your legs stretched, so that they can adapt.

• Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful place, from the comfortable, spacious rooms in the historic barn, to the verdant farm surrounding it, to the fantastic breakfast with homemade ingredients, to the stunning view of the Alps right out front. But what makes it truly special are the Müller family, some of the best hosts you’ll ever meet, incredibly friendly and welcoming people who are also great to talk to and get to know. No trip to Switzerland is complete without a visit here!

(which can be quite a few, travelling with two very small kids) Great tips on where to go or what to do. The room and outdoor area are very comfortable. We loved seeing the animals at the farm and of course, the landscape all around is just incredible.

• Nirmallshah (10/5): Exceptional - It was a superb stay. First of all the place is so beautiful surrounded with lush green meadows and hills. The Bühl 3 is amidst the beauty of nature. The property owners, Mrs. and Mr. Müller were amazing hosts and very friendly people. My family and I were touched by their hospitality. We ordered breakfast and Mrs. Müller served us fresh homemade and delicious breakfast. It is a Kid-friendly place. They also give you a tour around their farm, kids can see how cows are milked. As a guest you could feel the warmth in their hospitality. Room was cozy and warm. I would definitely recommend a stay here. NA

• Andrea (7/5): Good - Wonderful to have this unique experience. Wonderful hosts showed us the cows and pigs, and brought us a plate of wonderful cheese, homemade bread and tomatoes. With just a little bit more, this stay could be greatly improved. More outdoor chairs. Would have been nice to sit outside on balcony, since room itself is not a nice place to hangout. Glassware and electric kettle in room would have been great. Just a little intentional decorating could go a long way.
• Marta (10/5): Perfect family getaway - Great hospitality by hosts. The place is clean and cozy and surrounded by one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland, walking distance from the famous Emmentaler cheese's birthplace. The farm is quiet and has relaxing atmosphere. We loved our spacious room which was spotless clean and had comfy beds. We (or especially our kids) loved the farm tour where we got to feed some cows and piglets. Breakfast was simple but consistent of high quality local products and was fresh and filling. We'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent breakfast and very friendly host who offered plenty of local tips on restaurants, etc. Only 15 minutes walk from the Emmental Schaukäserei. My wife was not so impressed with the large manure pile outside but all part of a working farm :)
