• Jessica (10/5): Amazing Jungle Retreat - The breakfast was really good with a bit of variety in what can be ordered. The staff were friendly. The place was cleaned and well maintained. The food was amazing and the views especially for sunset was wonderful! The top bunks in the dorm were a bit hard to get into (the ladder was narrow and there was a mosquito net).

• Fabian (10/5): - Super schöne Unterkunft mit liebevoll eingerichteten Bungalows mitten im Wald (Erwachen zu Vogelgesang, ideal zum Vögel beobachten vom Bungalow aus). Sehr feines Essen, verschiedene Frühstücksvarianten. Sehr freundliches Personal.
• Gisele (10/5): Imperdible!!! - Es un lugar mágico, en medio de una reserva natural, puedes descansar y desconectarte, pero a la vez se encuentra cerca del pueblo. Los baños secos tienen excelente ventilación y siempre se encuentran limpios, no hay olor, excelente la construcción, y la ducha es super reconfortante, buena presión y siempre la temperatura se encuentra super agradable. El personal es amoroso, atento, personaliza la atención haciéndote sentir que les importa tu experiencia. Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a los dueños y son super agradables y comprometidos con el ecosistema y el turismo ecologico. El restaurante se destaca por sus excelentes platillos, sabrosos y abundantes. El desayuno es delicioso, recomiendo elegir desayuno incluido, vale la pena. Es una área natural en la montaña, super acondicionado para que la estadía sea súper confortable, pero es naturaleza, se consciente de ello y lleva repelente y estate dispuesto a caminar por escaleras y tu experiencia será maravillosa. Detalle extraordinario: el restaurante tiene la mejor vista para contemplar uno de los mejores atardeceres que visto en mi vida. Agua para beber fria y caliente disponible siempre. Todo extraordinario.
• Anastasia (10/5): Amazing stay - A wonderfully calm and welcoming space, with the warmest, most hospitable hosts. I especially loved that Frederico took the time to share the mission and story behind the place — it gives it a real sense of purpose and makes it feel like far more than just somewhere to sleep. Everything was excellent, but the food truly stood out. The yuca pizzas in particular are absolutely incredible. Getting into town is straightforward too, whether you walk the trail or hop on a motor taxi.
• Thomas (10/5): A quiet piece of paradise in Minca - Great from check-in to check-out. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I upgraded to a private room and they made it super easy for me. The food is delicious and the location is incredible, in nature (although close to the road). During my stay I saw dozens of hummingbirds, a toucan and an anteater from the main deck. I was quite sad to leave!

• Marcela (5/5): Bonito, mas longe de tudo, cansativo pra subir e o banheiro de compostagem realmente é algo complicado pra mim. - A arquitetura é bonita e o pôr do sol realmente é lindo lá de cima. A moça da recepção é um amor. É afastado do centro, fica na beira da estrada. Tem que subir um monte de degraus pra chegar lá e isso é horrível pra quem tá com mala/mochila pesada. O banheiro é de compostagem, não dá descarga, eu particularmente senti muito nojo quando vi aquilo e não consegui usar, fui embora, então não cheguei a dormir no hostel q tb estava sem energia quando cheguei e eu precisava de internet pra trabalhar. Como não dormi, não posso avaliar os quartos.

• Payal (9/5): Ecological building meets warm and friendly - The staff is very friendly, helpful and competent, as are the owners. It has been built ecologically, the location is peaceful, in the middle of the forest with amazing sunsets. The food from the kitchen is tasty and made with care. I don't have any complaints! It is a nice 20 minute walk to the town. If you have problem climbing stairs, I would not recommend this place.

• Vaidas (10/5): - The breakfast was great, especially the pancake. The whole hostel is very welcoming, great vibe, nice chill zone with hammocks, comfy work area. The beds were good too. Like the whole eco concept. The only thing I would say they could improve is add a little shelf by the beds or sockets for the second floor beds. Have a long cord otherwise. Also cold shower (not a fan)

• Agnieszka (10/5): - Piẹknie zaprojektowane miejsce, wpasowane w otaczającą przyrodẹ. Dormitorium bardzo przestrzenne, jasne, wygodne łóżka. Łatwość dojechania autem i możliwiść zaparkowania. 20 minut pieszo do centrum. Bardzo smaczne śniadania i kawa.
• Giselle (9/5): - Wunderschöner Ort, mit Liebe zum Detail und nachhaltig gebaut. Sehr aufmerksames Personal, die Hütte liegt buchstäblich mitten im Dschungel, super sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist köstlich, alles mit lokalen Produkten zubereitet. Das Einzige, was man beachten sollte, sind die vielen Treppen. Für ältere Menschen nicht ideal, sehr anspruchsvolle und anstrengende Anstiege.

• Luc-Hillege (9/5): The perfect get away spot in Minca - I really enjoyed staying at Sol de Minca. The concept of sustainable eco lodges was exactly what I was interested in. The owner and his family did such a great job when developing the land and accommodations. Their story, effort and knowledge is visible in every aspect. The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious and definitely the pizzas are unique and worth trying! Walking to town is also an adventure and when you know the route it's a lovely walk. Even when you have an issue, the staff will immediately fix it for you. I had a lot of fun and for sure will be back in the future. In the dorm you can hear traffic from the road during the evening. But using a good set of ear plugs this wasn't too much of a problem.

• Shannon Van den Borre (10/5): Perfect espace into nature or focus for work - Family owned eco hostel just outside of Minca. It's super peaceful and the most beautiful views. Great co-workspace with equally beautiful views and fast/reliable WiFi The breakfast and other food are fresh and delicious. The shower feels like a dream watching over nature. Very friendly and welcoming staff and the dogs are a great bonus! Beautiful walk through nature to the village which only takes 20 min max! Yoga or meditation space available at the hostel too. Everything was perfect

It is truly an experience in and by itself. The staff were accommodating every time we asked for help to get around town and the food is delicious, specially the juices and the yuca pizza!

• Josephine (9/5): Schönes Hostel mitten in der Natur - Die Lage im Grünen ist wunderschön, es ist immer sauber & das Personal super lieb und freundlich Bisschen Abwechslung beim Frühstück hat gefehlt (nach einer Woche) und der Weg ist anstrengend ins Dorf, aber zu Not kann man ein Mototaxi nehmen.

• Ailin (10/5): Desconexion y naturaleza - Espacios amplios, en un lugar rodeado de selva con vistas hermosas desde los espacios comunes. Ideal para descansar y ver pajaros de todos colores. La habitación compartida comoda, con mosquitero en todas las camas (la escalera podria ser mas ancha, nada mas 😅). Los baños estan limpios siempre, y al ser abierto permite buena ventilación. Es baño seco, pero es incluso mas higienico que el tradicional siendo compartido. Ofrecen agua potable gratis, los desayunos son muy ricos al igual que el resto de la comida, con una carta variada y precios razonables. El staff increible!! Es solo para aclarar, para acceder al alojamiento hay que subir unos cuantos escalones, que puede ser cansador pero las vistas valen la pena. Todo el alojamiento se comunica por escaleras, por lo cual no seria indicado para personas con movilidad reducida. Y otra aclaración, la cocina cierra temprano porque el personal vive en el pueblo, asi que hay que planificar la cena o buscarla en Minca que esta a 20 min caminando

One of the few accommodations I’ve stayed in which I genuinely did not want to leave!

The location is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the hosts are super nice and accommodating! Honestly I can't think of anything. Maybe just having access to use a basic kitchen would have made it even better.

It’s the best place I stayed in Minca. It’s a bit quieter than many other hostels and that was exactly why I was looking for. The breakfast was also really delicious. • Abigail (10/5): A wonderfurful retreat surrounded by nature! - We booked last minute, and we’re so glad we did! We had a wonderful stay at Sol de Minca. All of the staff were so lovely and it was great to read about the history of the lodge. Our room had a beautiful separate bathroom and a wonderful balcony surrounded by birds. There is also a common area with hammocks and a great restaurant. We loved Minca and this was the perfect base! Lots of steep stairs are not for the faint hearted - but it’s worth it for the beautiful views

• Mélissa (10/5): Hidden Jungle Gem - Everything was great. The location is secluded but only a 10–15 minute walk or a short moto ride from the center. The place itself is beautiful and feels like a secret spot in the middle of the lush jungle. You feel like you are literally sleeping in the wild, but still very well protected in your room. The bathroom was also a highlight, with its incredible outdoor views. Breakfast was a nice add-on, and lastly, the hospitality of the owner was wonderful, really kind and always keen to help, socialize, and share tips. Nothing, except maybe I got bitten really bad by the mosquitoes but it’s everywhere in Minca.

• Maren Sophie (10/5): Fantastisch, richtiger Herzensort- perfekt für eine Auszeit- ich komme gerne wieder 💚 - Mega toller Ort im Dschungel und ich möchte jetzt schon wiederkommen. Super freundliches Personal (man merkt das Herzblut, dass in den Familienbetrieb geflossen ist), extrem leckeres Frühstück, Duschen und Toilette im Naturbetreich und ein riesiger Raum für Yoga und Meditation. Wunderschöne Sonnenauf- und Untergänge zu bestaunen. Es liegt so circa 15 Minuten Fußmarsch von Minca entfernt - was super schön ist, weil man deswegen mitten in der Natur ist - der Fußmarsch ist jedoch an der Straße relativ gefährlich wegen der ganzen Kurven.

The people working there are kind and the food delicious. Towel and breakfast included. Very easy to take motorcycles back and forth (5k pesos). Comment only linked to the dorm: even though it was comfy, the noise of the road nearby is pretty loud, which is a too bad for a remote property.

• Louis (10/5): Hotel parfait pour profiter de Minca ! - L'emplacement au top (20min à pied du centre par sentier pieton), la chambre avec le réveil bercé par le son des oiseaux et le soleil qui se lève. Petit déjeuner très sympa aussi. Franchement rien à redire, cela peut paraître un peu root (toilette sèche et eau froide), mais le confort est là et le charme opère immédiatement !

• Karla (10/5): Magischer Ort, voller Tiefe und Verbundenheit - Mein Aufenthalt hier war fantastisch. Ich bliebt 5 Nächte und hätte noch sehr viel länger bleiben können. Die Gastgeber*innen und alle Angestellten waren unheimlich herzlich, ich habe mich so sehr wohl gefühlt - fast wie zuhause. Die Ecolodge ist wunderschön, mitten in Dschungel gelegen, mit vielen Möglichkeiten, insbesondere Vögel, zu beobachten. Mehr noch liegt der Lodge der Einklang mit der Natur und ihrer Umgebung sehr am Herzen. Alles ist aus natürlichen Materialien erbaut und sie arbeiten mit Indigenen der Kogui zusammen. Das ist zu spüren - der Ort hat etwas magisches, was einem erlaubt sich zu erden, in sich zu kehren und sich mit sich selber und seiner Umgebung/Natur zu verbinden. Ich empfehle diesen Ort allen, die sowas zu schätzen wissen. Der Dorm liegt direkt neben einer Straße, die leider zu hören ist. Dies ermöglicht zugleich jedoch ne einfachere Anreise! Nehmt guten Insektenschutz mit!

• loic (7/5): Bien mais je ne recommanderais pas - En plein milieu de la nature. On dort et se réveille au bruit des oiseaux. Moustiquaires aux fenêtres et autour du lit, on dort tranquille :) Chambres propres, conformes aux photos. Concept d’ecolodge poussé à l’extrême.. des crottes de chien en plein milieu des chemins ne sont même pas retirées. L’accès aux chambres est compliqué, avec de nombreuses marches. L’accès à Minca est long (20min à pied), dont une partie un peu ardue. Cet hôtel ne convient pas aux personnes ayant des difficultés à se mouvoir. Petit déjeuner pas bon. C’était les pires pancakes que je n’ai jamais mangé.

• David (8/5): Naturbelassen und fernab vom Lärm aus Minca - Hängematte vor der Tür und schön außerhalb von Minca. Minca lohnt sich nicht eine Unterkunft zu haben. Blick auf Santa Marta und Meer und man kann von der Hängematte aus, die Vögel beobachten. Mit Gepäck und Steigung hat man schon gut zu tun bei den Temperaturen, aber alles machbar und nicht so schlimm.

Courte marche dans la jungle pr rejoindre Minca, c’est agréable. L’espace de yoga est juste incroyablement beau 🤩 Effectivement lecolodge se trouve en hauteur de la route pr monter à Minca et on entend la route depuis le dortoir…mais avec une bonne paire de boules qu’ils on oublie :)
• vicenza (9/5): Altas Frecuencias. - Me encanto. todo muy bello, me encanta y se siente la buena vibra del lugar y el amor con que esta gestado todo. me encanta transitar por lugares que se piensan el cuidado por el medio ambiente, me gusto full los baños secos y muy limpios. El yoga shala es un gran espacio, wow. Una bebida que pedi en el almuerzo, pueden mejorar mucho los smoothies.
• judit (9/5): - Very nice location, 15 minutes safe walk through the jungle from Minca bus stop. The breakfast was fantastic, you can choose from the menu and eat on the panoramic terrace with beautiful views. The reason I deducted one star is that at the checkout some extra items appeared on the invoice: a meal I didn't eat, a beer I didn't drink. I dont know if it was a mistake or a scam.
• Shawn (10/5): Great Experience - The staff was excellent. Very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay for a couple of nights to recharge. Great hiking path into minca. There are lots of stairs so you get a great workout in too.

• Christine (6/5): Le lieu est incroyable mais la promesse d’un lieu tranquille n’est pas tenue. - Nous avons apprécié la structure de l’hébergement, le fait que ce soit en pleine nature et isolé Le fait qu’il y ait des travaux juste sous le balcon avec 6 personnes qui travaillaient et passaient d’un côté et l’autre de notre hébergement, en contradiction avec la quiétude promise des lieux et son aspect privé.

• Candice (9/5): Super lieu pour se reposer - Super hostel. Très calme. Magnifique vue depuis le coin restauration. Personnel très sympathique et tout est toujours propre. Très bon petit dejeuner et très copieux ! Le dortoir et proche de la route et on entend le passage des voitures assez tard et tôt le matin
• Trevor (10/5): Eco delight with birds and nature as your morning coffee - A eco sanctuary.. I was lucky to stay here and wake up early to the sounds of birds and falling leaves. So peaceful swaying in the hammock of my terrace and do a little quiet yoga in the morning. The toilet had the most eco green view I’ve ever had in my life.. that alone was worth it. More time
• Paul (10/5): Exzellent - Fantastische Unterkunft im kolumbianischen Wald. Ich war im Dorm und es war sehr angenehm. Es gab Moskitonetze und einen Spind. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen auch sehr gut

• Marion (9/5): - Sehr schönes Hostel. Unsere Cabaña war wirklich schön gestaltet und das dazugehörige Bad mit Trockentoilette war einmalig.Selbst von dort hat man einen super Blick auf Santa Marta. Das Frühstück und Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und das Personal immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor der Cabaña fehlen einfach ein paar bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten oder eine Hängematte zum Relaxen. Sonst war alles super.
