- Britt (6/5): - De ligging is fantastisch en de accommodatie was groot. Het bed was ook fijn. Er is altijd iemand aanwezig. Er is geen wasbak, dus dat was vooral onhandig. Ook zou het personeel wel wat beter mee kunnen denken met bijvoorbeeld tours organiseren. Hij beveelde ons aan om 4 km bergop te lopen en daar te informeren. Ook werden we verwezen naar de tienda voor water, maar die was dicht op zondag en ze hadden zelf geen water om te verkopen.

- Matt (9/5): Great stay - Comfortable stay at Oso Perezoso. Run by a friendly and accommodating family, who kindly let us leave some of our bags there overnight when we did the Cerro Kennedy hike. Beautiful views and decent kitchen and seating facilities. Nice people Couple of small points but these didn't take away from our stay: no mirrors in the bathrooms - would be a worthwhile investment. Kitchen could use a couple of bowls for guests. Swimming pool not functioning as advertised on photos.

- Jenny (7/5): Good value for money jungle experience. - Amazing views, really well situated in the hills with fantastic sunsets. Great waking up in nature and we were even treated to a tropical storm. You can get a decent dinner delivered to your room and buy any snacks/ basics from the shop 5 mins up the road. Be ready to get a motorbike taxi from Minca! It was very basic, our toilet and shower weren’t always working but they were fixed pretty fast. Bedding could do with an upgrade. But for the price you pay I definitely think it’s worth it for a night or two.

- Ausra (1/5): Avoid, as its not restful place. Nobody is managing music and noice in property - No breakfast. Location is isloated property, but its not quite. There is no management of the place. It looks like nobody cares about what people do there. Keys were not locking the cabin and nobody fixed the issue. Not worth the price Very noisy location, hosts looked not bothered about guests. No toilet paper, no running water in shower, no rubbish bins, all rubbish thrown around property.

The Staff also really nice we forgot one night to buy something to eat and the owner gave us some sadwiches for free. Definetly coming back in the future.

- Maria (4/5): Probably not coming back - The view is really impressive. They 100% are pet friendly. There wasn't staff available at all times. When we arrived, no one received us so we had to look around the place for someone to indicate where our room was. They overbooked the place, and ended changing our cabin to keep a family friend guest in our originally booked room, and kicking the guests that were in the new room for us to be able to use it. No cleaning in between guests. The new room was above the floor, so you can feel every move, and even the thunders would make the cabin move, making it feel unstable and caused my boyfriend to have a panic attack. The space distribution was not the best, not much space to move around the room. Only one real mattress. Sheets were dirty and had paint stains. There is no food available within the hostel, you need to eat outside. Only one restaurant was open after lunch, so we almost didn't have dinner - as we were guided to a restaurant that was closed and ended up buying food to prepare ourselves. Paths are a bit unsafe, specially if raining, very slippy. Not worth the price.

Very kind and hospitable host. He gave us some tips about the trekking around. He offered us as well avocados ( growing there). Good wifi ( only next to the room) - wifi not working in the kitchen area. The wifi working only around one area so all people were gathering on the hammocks below our tree house = no privacy as people sitting and chatting just below the house. No hot water ( but I believe this is common in the Caribbean coast)

We had an issue with parking, it says that there is private parking but it is just an inside road, all cars blocking each other, we weren't planning on using our car for our stay time but we had to move it a number of times.

The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the bungalows are comfortable and an incredible value. Transport is a bit expensive in the area and the location was out of the way from major attractions and the town. From Minca it was 20.000 per person by motorcycle (no helmets for passengers) or 80.000 by car. Adds up if you stay a few days and plan for some activities

- Jan (10/5): Magical place in Colombian nature - Everything was great from start to finish. It's an amazing location outside of Minca which is already in the middle of nature. Stunning views, beautiful sounds if nature around you, banana trees and super nice people. The cabins/bungalows are very comfortable and nicely decorated. There are a lot of areas to relax and enjoy a great time away from the big city life. Hammocks, nets, fireplace etc. This is a magical place. Our stay was too short. ;-)

We had a list of recommendations if they execute this it will be a 5 star 10 point accommodation. There is lots to improve! We miss the passion of the female staff. The area isn't the cleanest, needs a tidy up. Balcony is facing a hill with a ugly building. We don't understand its on this side. Big big disappointment. Some stuff wasn't in the room.

Tidy, simple bungalows. Good kitchen, mercado very close. Great options for trekking. Lot of hammocks for relaxing, simple bathrooms. Water is cut sometimes to save it but they set it on if asked. Wonderful people around! Might need sleeping mask
