• GLORIA YENETH (8/5): PARA ESTADIAS CORTAS BUENO Y AGRADABLE. - Personal amable, el lugar agradable, cerca del pueblo, el desayuno estuvo bien. Hospedaje para corto tiempo es bueno. Por mejorar: Un espejo en la habitación, solo hay uno en el baño, Revisar el baño por fugas constantes, el baño es incomodo por la forma de ubicación del lavamanos casi sobre el inodoro y eso porque la puerta abre hacia adentro, no se puede cerrar la puerta del baño en la noche porque no tiene nada para hacerlo.

• ALEYDA (10/5): Primera experiencia de hospedaje inolvidable con una vista espectacular - Me pareció un excelente lugar, fue mi primera experiencia hospedándome y realmente superó mis expectativas. Desde el momento en que llegué, la atención fue muy amable y me hicieron sentir cómoda y bienvenida, algo que valoro muchísimo, sobre todo siendo la primera vez. La vista es simplemente hermosa, un espacio que transmite tranquilidad y hace que uno realmente desconecte de la rutina. Las instalaciones estaban muy bien cuidadas y el ambiente en general era agradable, perfecto para descansar. Me encantó poder disfrutar del lugar con calma, tomarme mi tiempo y vivir la experiencia completa. Sin duda, fue una vivencia muy bonita que me deja con ganas de repetirla y de seguir conociendo más lugares así. Muchas gracias por hacer de esta primera experiencia algo tan especial Fuimos en moto y, lastimosamente, debido al estado del camino, la llanta se pinchó; sin embargo, no pasó a mayores. Incluso, esto no hace parte de la experiencia del lugar. Realmente, todo estuvo muy bien, el sitio es muy lindo. Muchas gracias por la atención brindada.

• Jan-Philipp (10/5): Rancho mit Herz und perfekter Lage - Anfangs hatten wir nur einen Aufenthalt von nur 3 Nächten eingeplant, haben uns dann aber recht schnell entschieden um knapp eine Woche zu verlängern. Die Lage ist perfekt: Nur wenige Minuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, hat man doch dank der idealen Lage das Gefühl abgelegen zu sein, weshalb man hier super Ruhe findet. Es lässt sich tagsüber entspannt in der Hängematte chillen und die grandiose Aussicht genießen oder man findet Unterhaltung im Spiel mit der Hauskatze und der freundlichen Hausziege. Die Küche bietet alles was man zum Selbstversorgen braucht, wobei die Gegend so sicher ist, dass man aber auch ohne Probleme nach dem Abendessen im Dunkeln zur Rancho laufen kann (oder man bucht eine 5minütige TukTuk-Fahrt). Der Gastgeber Sebastian ist ein herzensguter Mensch, der einem immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Morgens wird man von ihm mit einem soliden Frühstück versorgt, ehe man zu Wanderungen aufbricht (oder nachdem man von frühmorgentlichen Wanderungen zurück kommt). Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit! Wir hoffen uns bald wieder zu sehen!!! Das wir abreisen mussten.

• Sibylle (5/5): Needs Love - While we had a good stay and enjoyed the quiet location, the goat and the cat, this place is more rustic than the photos let on. With a little bit of love, it could be stellar. Overall, the place appeared run down. The picture of the room I booked showed a window, but we did not have a window. The housekeeper/cleaning person came once (we had four nights)and she was great and diis good job in our room and gave us fresh towels (the used once stayed wet due to the lack of air circulation and no area to hang them up outside. The kitchen was dirty with leftover food sitting in pots on the stove top. Breakfast was supposed to be starting at 8am, but the manager slept in and we started make it ourselves. Coffee was Nescafé and the tiny croissants served came out of the same stale bag every morning. The nice terrace upstairs was occupied most day by the manager playing computer games. And the cute goat snuck into the terrace at night and pooped/ peed on the tiles and the benches. Also, please be aware that the property charges an extra 5% if you want to pay by credit card. This is only disclosed after the non cancelable booking is completed. I generally don't give bad ratings and always find the positive, but for transparency, I cannot give this finca a great rating.
• Peter (10/5): A wonderful rural break - The location is wonderful. How many places do you go to where you get a baby goat for company? There is great bird watching from the property and plenty of walks that get you more opportunities to do the same. The town of Jardin is only about a 20 minute walk away. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves though the breakfast provided was excellent. Nothing to add

Located in a green paradise from where you can just see the rooftops of the town in the distance. They also have a goat and a cat. Rooms are a bit basic but still very comfortable.

No tuve confort al dormir la verdad no volvería por esto, la idea era desconectarme y descansar pero al ser una casa vieja, y con huéspedes en la segúnda plata todo se oía, los pasos, lo que hablaban todo, no fue cómodo porque los huéspedes de arriba se acostaron super tarde y levantaron muy temprano, es decir hubo ruido gran parte de la noche.

Es una casa campestre bien dotada, con jabón y toallas limpias, cada cama cuenta con cobija limpia. La atención del encargado fue muy desafortunada. Pasamos la noche del 31 de diciembre y al otro día no había quien hiciera el desayuno porque el encargado nunca llegó. El alojamiento tenía desayuno incluido y le tocó a mi mamá meterse a la cocina a hacer desayuno para todos los huéspedes junto con una chica muy joven que estaba de ayudante pero que claramente no era la persona responsable.

Realmente es caro para lo que ofrece. En las habitaciones que están debajo de las de arriba se siente todo el ruido, además del "traqueo" de la madera. Lo que hace que sea difícil el descanso. Tiene una cabrita de mascota que llora en la madrugada. Algo que creemos innecesario en un tipo de hospedaje de esos. Finalmente el desayuno "incluído" fue cocinar entre todos con lo que había...

• Diana Echeverri (8/5): Grata experiencia - Tuvimos una grata experiencia en el Rancho de Jero. La atención fue muy buena por parte de Sebastián, muy atento a todo lo solicitado. Tilín (un cabrito) es una hermosura y se robó nuestro corazón, así como las niñas de Sebastián, muy hermosas. Gracias a todos por lo placentera de nuestra estadía. El Rancho no queda en todo el pueblo, pero es fácil llegar allí en motorratón (la carrera vale $10.000). El paisaje es muy bonito, muy natural, tranquilo y relajante con el sonido de los pajaritos y de una quebrada que pasa por allí. El desayuno estaba muy rico. La habitación es sencilla pero confortable apenas para descansar. Nosotros estuvimos muy afortunados porque estábamos solos en el rancho y por lo tanto no se escuchaba nada de bulla, pero la última noche sí llegaron tres personas y se escuchaba mucho ruido, sus pasos, sus conversaciones, sus canciones, pero aún así dormimos bien.
• kathleen (7/5): Charmant mais rudimentaire - C'était super d'être dans la campagne entourées de nature et d'animaux. Le lieu est mignon et les hôtes très gentils. La douche est chaude. Ce n'était pas de la faute des hôtes mais nous avions un groupe qui logeait à côté de chez nous qui ont fait un peu de bruit en rentrant le soir. Il est vrai que les chambres sont peu isolées. C'est assez rudimentaire et la chambre est un peu humide.

• Rhian (10/5): - A really lovely stay with an extremely friendly family. The place is perfect with amazing views over the town of Jardin as well as the surrounding mountains. Just a short walk into town, being on the outskirts was so peaceful. The host was amazing! Super friendly, helpful and generous. He cooked authentic breakfast for us every morning. You must book here if you are staying in Jardín.

Room was quite small and needed additional space for luggage. It is located just outside town on a bit of a challenging drive but the host graciously saved us a trip to the store for water and beer!!

Las niñas de Sebastián fueron muy amables. La habitación muy cómoda y, sobre todo, la ubicación, con las ventajas campestres pero muy cerca del pueblo. Los senderos súper seguros. Sin duda, regresaremos en nuestra próxima visita.

• Tam (9/5): Great stay with good value for money - Extremely helpful and nice host! The location is just perfect, a stone throw away from the center but in the middle of nature. Showers are warm and the internet is decent. It's a simple and rustic stay but we personally enjoyed it a lot. It can get quite noisy as the walls are really thin. Personally, I didn't mind but just something to consider.

• sebastian (9/5): 10 good things for 2 bad ones, very worth, cozy and chill. - The place is very cozy, it is indeed 8-9 minutes by tuk tuk from main village. There is a lot of birds nearby and the silence from being out of town is lovely, the rooms are spacious and very enjoyable! But the best part is their outdoors! The only thing I would complain about would be the noise from the other rooms! But this is not property issue, because that’s how the cabin is built. Even tho the place send us a night reminder to be quiet! And the night was very peaceful, at the morning you can hear people getting breakfast but nothing unbearable. Lastly the road to the hotel is fully paved until the hotel entrance therefore is a 2 minutes un-paved road.

• Marie (9/5): Havre de paix - Havre de paix à 10min à pied du centre ville. Le trajet se fait sans problème, situé à côté d’une ferme d’apiculture qu’on peut visiter, et du départ de certaines randonnées. La chambre est petite mais fonctionnelle, il fait un peu froid la nuit car pas d’isolation mais des couvertures sont fournies. Super accueil, terrasse avec hamac très sympa, petit déjeuner plutôt complet. Pas mal d’insectes dans la cuisine et la salle de bain, mais c’est la nature et le logement est eco-responsable donc vous risquez d’en trouver partout à Jardin. Excentré mais c’est ce qui fait tout son charme
