Guest Reviews
- STEWART (8/5): - Location was slightly out of town, but very quiet, clean and comfortable. We were shown 3 platypuses by a local guide on the river running through Deloraine. That in itself was worth staying!
A basic continental breakfast was included.
- Emily (10/5): Great little cabin with beautiful scenery. It was easy to communicate with the host, we enjoyed our stay and would stay - Beautiful scenery, clean, cosy and comfortable cabin.
- Tetiana (10/5): Perfect cabin - All of it. Location, cleaning, design, breakfast, communication Na
- Jacqueline (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and cute - The chains had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We only stayed one night but the laundry is a huge bonus for families. We will stay longer next time knowing that everything we needed is there. The interior is fresh and bright and homely.
- Lyndal (10/5): Drumreagh is the perfect country escape. - This delightful cabin is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The beds are so comfortable and the host spoils her guests with bread, milk, juice, eggs, jams and muesli. It’s positioned close enough to town to be convenient and far enough away to be relaxing - surrounded by huge trees, fields and cows/llamas.

- Isabelle (10/5): Loved our stay - Loved our stay at Drumreagh Cabins. The cottage is so comfortable, beautifully furnished with everything you need. We were initially going to spend the night up in Cradle Mountain, but decided to save ourselves some dollars and stay somewhere rural at the bottom of the mountain. The only regret we have is that we only stayed one night, but we were short on time. Next time we will stay longer. The cottage has a double bed in each bedroom. The option of having two singles in one of the bedrooms would be ideal.

- Cassandra (10/5): - Lovely cabin! Very well amenitied till my mother also thought so and she is the type that needs everything! Super clean, lovely hot showers, comfy beds, washing machine and dryer made it super convenient and the owner provides all the things you need for cleaning too. Travelling with a 3 year old so this was a great help to keep things clean. The sourdough bread provided for breakfast was the best we had so far and there was also lovely Tassie milk and eggs too. It was our first stop in Tasmania and set high expectations for accoms for the rest of the trip! Just a small point but we arrived pretty late from Melbourne and owner was kind enough to leave the lights on for us outside the cabin. But the Google Maps doesnt pinpoint the cabin's exact location and brought us elsewhere nearby. We missed the green sign that says Drumreagh Cabins as its generally pitch black, so my only suggestion is probably just to put a bit of solar lighting on the sign itself because we had passed it but didnt see it the first time
- Pamela (10/5): Peaceful, short distances all facilities.Lovely decor - Breakfast perfect, lovely fresh eggs and bread.Location so peaceful and only short distance to centre of town.

- Rebecca (8/5): - Lovely property, beautiful view, very comfortable cabins.
- Leslie (10/5): Very comfortable - Very good and close to town
- Ben (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Picturesque, peaceful retreat with everything you need and prolific bird life. - The rural setting and the farm animals promoted a good vibe. Proximity to the town was handy. The eggs and bread left for us to cook breakfast was also a great touch. The large pothole at the driveway entry was a bit tough on the motorcycle, but once you knew it was there it was easy to avoid.
- Michelle (8/5): - It was a very peaceful and quiet loved the location beautiful breakfast I would say no one had stayed in the cabin we stayed in the shower had dust on the floor and a little mould in the shower but apart from that a beautiful place to stay

- Naomi (10/5): -
- Jackie (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous place! - Absolutely loved this place! Cosy inside, it has everything that family needs. Kids enjoyed observing alpacas and just playing at front yard. We saw green lorikeets and other beautiful birds.

- Anastusios (10/5): - The bed was very comfortable. The location was close to Deloraine town. Breakfast was great with the supplied fresh eggs, bread, and juice. Nothing
- leezy (10/5): Light and airy cabin - It was lovely to find breakfast had been left for us. Crusty loaf, eggs, muesli, milk, butter etc. Nice touch. Lovely light and airy cabin. It was all good
- Joanna (9/5): Very peaceful and perfect for our short stay - Really great little place to stay in a quiet location just out of town. The cabins have been nicely renovated and are very comfortable and are spotlessly clean. The breakfast provisions were great and the kitchen was well set up. It was rather lovely to open the curtains in the morning to look out at the garden and an assortment of animals in the field. I must say we were rather obsessed with the ginger cat that paid a visit, she is delightful. It was a bit of a last minute booking but ended up being a fantastic choice. Nothing
- Marnie (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer - Beautiful property. Such a surprise to see the farm animals and the magnificent red gums. Absolutely devoured the fresh breakfast goodies, thank you. Furnishings were quality and just like home. Instructions were clear. Shower was hot and beds were super comfy. So handy to the local shopping district and river loop Communication was excellent-thanks Melissa and family for making our check-in, stay and check out so easy. We didn’t have enough time to find anything negative perhaps electric blankets might have been nice for our time of year .. wish we could have stayed much longer
- Rachel (10/5): The cosy cottage had everything we needed in the most beautiful location -
- wayne (10/5): A perfect stopover - From the location to the quality of the cabins, it’s always a pleasure to stay here. The host makes sure you have everything you need, from real milk and fruit juice to a supply of farm eggs and bread. Above and beyond what anyone could expect. Fantastic.
- Sharon (10/5): Only a quick overnight stay, but as always the cabin was spotless and the amenties great. - Very neatly maintained cabin, in a lovely secluded spot.
Nice to observe the native wildlife and the alpacas from the deck.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and exceeded expectations.
Check in was easy and done via lockbox, checkout was the same.
Hosts lived on the property so could be contacted if you needed them.
