Guest Reviews
- Rod (9/5): - nice and quiet, very spacious, lovely host driving back from town in the dark!
- ANDREW (9/5): -
- Peter (7/5): - Plenty of room with private space The property is advertised as a bungalow however it is a guest wing within the main house. We misunderstood what we were booking.
- Helen (8/5): A gem in a secluded quiet location, just 12 minutes from town. - It was very spacious, the bed was super comfortable, it was very clean, the location was secluded and quiet., while only being a 12 minute drive from Victor Harbor. The self serve continental breakfast was adequate. It was good to be surrounded with peace and tranquility.
Would we stay here again? Yes, for sure. If I was to be super picky, the bed was low, but like I said before it was super comfortable.
- Abel (10/5): Hosts were really good, and Tweed the dog! A great space to enjoy spring. - The food provided every day. The eggs were a bonus! Happy healthy chickens.
Plenty of books to read.
Sensor light for safety at night.
Ample linen.
Everything worked together 😄
- Jed (6/5): Support farmers at this value-for-money accommodation. - It’s another drought so it was good to put some support into a struggling farm It could be improved very cheaply and quickly eg a shelf in the ‘kitchen’ to improve storage, redecorate the bedroom with a bit of colour, reduce the noise between owner’s living area and rental area.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - The owners were friendly and their dog a lovely chap.Nice clean. Comfortable place to stay.
We were also spoilt with some fresh eggs for breakfast.
Yum! We had to go home a day early due to family emergency.
- Jane (6/5): Pleasant - Nice comfortable bed, good hot water, peace and quiet. Nice dog. Breakfast was supplied for 2 days only. Lack of friendliness and support from owners. No washing machine due to Covid! Every other place I’ve stayed recently has supplied washing machine and dryer. Carpet only in bedroom. Cold on the floors. Rubbish was not taken or disposed of, we had to do that ourselves. No cleaning was attempted for the whole time we were there . So no room service at all
- Joao (8/5): Great place to relax with a great host. - Quiet and cozy place to relax, great facility.
Good host and nature surrounds. Close to the city but away enough to be really quiet. The bedroom was too bright in the morning due to the curtains, but nothing major. Moreover, at night if the lights were on you could see the whole bedroom from the outside, but as mentioned, not a huge problem, just a fact.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kaylene (7/5): Good -
- Kristin (10/5): unplug from your devices and soak up the countryside - Marilyn was a gracious host, the cooked breakfast was fantastic and her concern when I mentioned I wasn’t feeling well was greatly appreciated. the room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the location and it’s proximity to Victor Harbor. it was peaceful and gave me sone much needed downtime not relevant
- Glenice (10/5): We shall return! - The breakfast was always on time, fresh farm eggs, bacon, hashbrown, baked beans , toast.
Friendly owners, dog and chickens.
great to hear the rooster everymorning.
loads of space in the accommodation to move around in. no internet reception so no phone, computer or TV made it a total break from our hectic life. plenty of good dvd's supplied by host.
- John (7/5): Good -
