Christopher (6/5): Lower your expectations - Location is amazing- vibey area away from clubs of Provenza and short walk to Manila. Elevator opens directly into spacious apartment. Perhaps expectations were too high- of the people working the front desk most were decent, one was good, one was sub par and one was completely unsatisfactory. Unit was not terribly clean, even after being cleaned mid week amd couldn’t kick a wet dog smell. But the worst was the construction noise that began at 7am (coming from both drilling and pounding several feet from the bedroom nd across the street on another large project). And yes the construction continued on Saturday as well. A small community of homeless makes their apparent home next door and in and around these construction sites making for interesting intereractions whenever leaving or entering the property. After 8 days we were elated to find new lodging.

VIN (10/5): Absolutely loved my stay at Nido Sky - Absolutely loved my stay at Nido Sky. First of all great location less than 5 mins walk from Poblado park and under 15 mins walk from Poblado metro station from where you can get anywhere in Medellin. I stayed in apartment 1, it was massive, beautifully designed and had everything you needed, loved the calming ambient music that you could have playing (this can be switched off if it's not for you). Best thing was the washing machine which I especially chose Nido Sky for as I had a bag of clothes that needed washing. Shower, although the fixed head type, had great pressure. Bath tub in the room was huge. The rooftop pool and hot tub were lovely after a long day of exploring which is available to use 24 hours and the views of Medellin from there were just stunning. The girl at reception was lovely, really friendly and welcoming and even took me to the apartment and showed me around on arrival.

ALFONSO (8/5): Nueva York en Medellín - La onda de la arquitectura del lugar. Me sentía en un loft de esos barrios neoyorquinos del soho. El tamaño del departamento, grande, liberador, no te sientes agobiado como en esos dormitorios standard de grandes hoteles de 23 m2. La ubicación es perfecta. De hecho, a los restaurantes que fui, todos caminables y, tuve un problema de alergia fuerte y fui a la cnínica de muy buen nivel a sólo 5 cuadras. Una lástima que por ambos lados del departamento estén construyendo edificios por lo que hay un ruido ambiente constante. Una pena que en vez de vidrios normales, no hayan puesto los de termopanel los que ayudan a mantener la temperatura y a bajar el ruido medioambiental. Igual con algo de música, el ruido desaparece cubierto por las melodías propias. Es lo único que podría comentar de no bueno, a pesar de eso igualmente en la siguiente visita iré al mismo lugar.

The hotel is surrounded by constructions and no impact windows so the workers around wake us around 7am everyday. The bed at the masters doesn’t seems to be suited for a hotel. I personally crashed into it couple times and hurt myself. The master’s bath have two separate water faucets…. Not really a smart design, so you can use cold water or hot water independently, but not mixed.

Great views from rooftop pool n jacuzzy. A small gym. You get all this for a price just a bit more than a regular hotel room. The sound from the street does come thru in the living room. The reception said thats because the unit has a kitchen with gas stove and by law they cannot seal the unit with no airflow it has to have ventilation. We liked having a kitchen but probably some people dont need it.

Andrew (1/5): Almost made me think im never going to medellin again but i had a good time in another hotel..yes i might of messed up b - The room was nice but thats all So i paid for 4 nights in the hotel the staff saw i could pay with cash or card as they saw i had a bag with about 500 mill in 50 mill notes they recomended i pay with card as its better to pay for things with cash..later that night i got drunk met two girls and think they drugged me but i still realised they had stole all my money i wouldnt let them leave and called reception and reception and police came the girls were found with the money the reception knew it was mine didnt tell the police they was all speaking in spanish i got told i would be arrested if i say anything else they said i gave them drugs and i was told i had to leave the hotel and no refund this was the first night, i drove round the block with a taxi and the woman was laughing with the reception woman afterwords in the street i couldnt do anything as police were there too.. They might not been in on it at begging but they definatly was after.. Also says has gym there no pictures because it two bikes couple light dumbells and bench the pool is more like a large bath its old looks like no one has been up there for years.. I got another hotel half the price proper pool jaccuzi on roof and much better view life style apartments they have security guards and normal staff
Tessa (8/5): - We booked a room here very last minute when our plans to travel on in Colombia got delayed. The apartment was awesome and area outside safe. We were traveling with 2 kids ages 7 and 11. Only issue was it was little noisy in the front part of the apartment at night, for our kids trying sleep. A garden view only or apartment on a higher floor would solve that. The rooftop pool is more like a large hot tub, but our kids still enjoyed it and we enjoyed the hot tub too. The views at night were incredible. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Property is very safe , it even has a private elevator…amenities are limited, the pool is extremely small but the view from the rooftop is beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly , however when we’d ask for more napkins, trash bags, soap, ice etc they wouldn’t really want to provide although they said it’s included and to ask when needed… if you book I just recommend bringing EVERYTHING you think you might need.

G--M-25467 (10/5): perfect experience - Nido Sky is in the Manilla neighborhood in El Pablado. It is walking distance to many bars and restaurants, as well as the essentials at shops. There is a currency exchange on block over. The hotel is ultra-modern/industrial. The apartment is serviced by an elevator directly to the apartment that is only usable by one tenant at a time. There is a small pool and really hot hot tub on the roof 24/7. The apartment was extremely comfortable and large. The Turkish bath is awesome and view are great. You are in a lively area, so expect some noise. It did not bother us and we slept extremely well. The hotel is one of those that you do not want to leave. Service was great and there is a first floor bar that delivers food to the rooms. We did not use the service because we cooked our meals for the most part, as the Exito is a short Uber ride away. The Staff at the front desk is awesome and bilingual in english/Spanish. Their guests policy is liberal with registration and they welcome your friends and family to visit. Presently, there is construction across the street on a building, but it didn't both us. If you are one of those travelers that expects to reside in a sound proof hermetically sealed bubble, this is not the place for you. If you are a traveler that likes to enjoy a great view, comfortable apartment, and easy access to social events and happenings, this hotel is perfectly located. Having stayed in much more sterile areas of El Pablado, this location and accommodation was perfect for us.

Brian (10/5): - Chose Nido Sky after sleepless nights in another hotel in the Provenza due to noise. There is noise at Nido Sky too from nearby bars/restaurants, but it was less than being smack dab in the middle of the Provenza. The hotel is perhaps better geared toward those who want an apartment/hotel experience--one cleaning was included during the week and there was an option to purchase additional cleanings if we wanted. Small kitchenette was ample. Bathroom fixtures could be updated, and we had some mosquitoes because the windows are not air tight. Very spacious! The location is difficult to beat--close to the Provenza, metro, and Manila, with many wonderful restaurants nearby. Also walkable to two of the big shopping centers, Santa Fe and Oviedo.
Tawyne (10/5): Amazing, helped make our stay even better than we could have expected! - First off, the property is absolutely beautiful. The decor, the style, and the overall atmosphere is incredible. The esthetic of this hotel is almost as significant as all of the amenities that come with it. You have a mini kitchen, washer & dryer, livingroom, dining room, amazingly comfortable bedroom, and 2 bathrooms. The view is unbelievable and all the windows provide fresh air. They have 2 A/C units to provide maximum comfort on hotter days. They have a little but functional gym, rooftop with a quaint pool/hot tub and an attached cafe that has amazing breakfasts (we didn’t have the chance to enjoy anything else) and makes the BEST cocktails with the friendliest service. This hotel location is perfectly walkable to downtown. 3 of us stayed there and all had our own space to relax and enjoy. We always stay at Nido Sky when we visit, you should too, you won’t regret it! There wasn’t much not to like, the only thing I would say was that the bathtub doesn’t drain as quickly as I’d like but it really wasn’t a big deal at all. The view and tub is completely worth it.

The location is nestled between the park and the metro. It’s easy to get groceries at the Exito supermarket down the hill. It’s a party neighborhood so expect live music until the wee hours of the morning. Open both sides of room to enjoy the morning and evening breezes. The safe is about the size of a shoebox and not anchored. No microwave. No coffee maker.
Benjamin (10/5): You will love Nido Sky - NomaDad Bink00 - This a stunning hotel in Pablado. I really enjoyed my week here. It was comfortable and the staff was great. Conveniently located to all things fun in Pablado as well as good coffee downstairs and around the corner. It's also the easiest side of Pablado to be on in order to have quick access to the metro. Each apartment has its own elevator access which felt super cool. There are only two apartments per floor. All amenities were very good. My only complaint is that for a couple of nights there was a very loud club nearby. It wasn't every night and I'm not a light sleeper but this was pretty loud. Ear plugs were provided so they must know it's a bit of an issue with other guests. While there is no actual balcony, the living room wall is full glass and opens completely to a stunning view of the city and mountains. Also there is a great rooftop. When back in Medellin, I will 100% stay here again.

Russell (1/5): Cockroach infested apartment - We spent a week at Nido Sky. Gorgeous apartment, exactly as you see in the pictures, friendly staff, nice location BUT one huge problem which unfortunately outweighs all of my previous points. One huge complaint is we saw a huge cockroach climbing up our wall in the bedroom on the third day. Nido Sky did arrange for a fumigator the following morning which was appreciated. But then the days following we kept finding dead cockroaches on the floor which was obviously a sign that the fumigation had worked but very unpleasant for our stay and not relaxing. We would come home from a day out and find a couple of dead cockroaches in the middle of the apartment or wake up in the morning and there would be a new one in the floor of the bedroom. Would also just like to add the cockroaches were always never completely dead so we will still had to always finish them off and flush them down the toilet which was disgusting to have to do on a daily basis. One other complaint is we have stayed in many “self serviced” apartments in different countries previously as we prefer to have more space than you would get in a hotel room, and normally you would at least get some sort of turndown service after at least 5 nights. I would not expect this if we only stayed for a long weekend but we stayed 8 nights in total and they did not once come in to clean the apartment or change our towels. A small hoover of the apartment and wipe down of the surfaces would have been much appreciated and not a big ask. We even had to take out our own rubbish during the course of our stay. I would love to give this apartment a better review but considering we spent nearly £1000 for a weeks stay (which is expensive for Colombia considering the exchange rate in 2023) this is not something any guest should have to expect to deal with so unfortunately I cannot recommend.

Very walkable to everywhere in Poblado, and not a far walk to the train station (just an uphill walk when returning back to the hotel). The guests in the room next to ours were extremely loud after quiet hours, but with just a single text to the front desk, the guests were notified and quieted down. Thank you, responsive front desk staff! Noise from neighboring hotels/rooftops was a bit annoying every night. I was able to sleep through it, but my partner, who is a light sleeper, struggled with this more than I did. There were earplugs kindly provided for this purpose!

The location allows you to be close to so much, where to begin. Coffee, dining, walkable to everywhere like the Sante Fe mall, rooftop bars, and so many other places. Liz, Alejandro and the team are very accommodating and because it's not a cattle call hotel with scores of people, you get VIP service all the way. When you get off of the elevator and step DIRECTLY into your room, you will know that you made the right choice folks. Clean, modern concrete trendy vibes everywhere, great customer service, knowledgeable staff, great security features/safe and location, location, location. Everthing is so close but they managed to tuck Nido away on its own side street with its own stores etc... It's perfect! Staying here was by far the best decision of my trip. If you want a great room, great location and great experience in Columbia then BOOK IT!

Verified traveler (8/5): Potential, but… - The place has a lot of potential. Main issue was the girl in the reception that on various occasions were very difficult and created an awkward ambiance. The guy who works the night shift however was amazing, flexible and always ready to help. Rooms were not very clean and certainly not taking into account the cleaning fee of COP 100,000 that normally would suffice for two days of work for an average cleaning lady in Colombia. Lower floors are very noisy and the bed is not comfortable at all. On a positive note, the apartments are beautifully decorated, spacious and very well located. The pool and gym area is small, but almost always empty and with very good sun conditions. Overall good value for money and I would return again, hoping that at least the attitude of the receptionist has improved. The rest I can overcome.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are a great amenity and open 24/7. Astorga is a great neighborhood in Poblado. Still close to the action near park Lleras, but a much more quiet—and I feel safe here at all hours. You have better access to the metro than other neighborhoods. There is a huge exito shop nearby to buy almost anything you my need. I always sleep well here which is important to me. You can close the windows and use the AC to shut out the street noise which is not too bad. Even with the windows open to enjoy Medellin’s cool breeze it’s rarely an issue. There is occasionally some bar noise nearby but it stops fairly early. This is my 4th stay here and perfect when I am traveling solo. Having to leave. :)

Jan (10/5): The best place in Medellin for the money. Worth every bit. - I stayed at quite a few places in Poblado area, some of them with even higher rating than Nido Sky. I always ended up going back to Nido because there is simply no comparison in what you get. The spaciousness gives you feeling of home, not a "hotel room" (unmatched, period), modern design- done with great attention to details and functionality (I'd say the most use-friendly place I've stayed at not only in Medellin but on all my travels), privacy (elevator opens straight to your loft and you own the whole half of a floor of the building, walls being of solid concrete so the noise reduction from your neighbors is excellent compared to other hotels), the design itself- that you have large open views from both sides, tall ceilings, living area with a couch, tv, fridge, kitchen with basic but again well thought of utensils (nothing looks "cheap") everything executed in unique industrial yet fashion-like design. Massive attention to detail- as a builder-developer myself I can't emphasize this enough! In suite washer and dryer is super amazing plus. For a guy who uses their top floor terrace gym daily, I really appreciate the fact that I don't have to go bring my dirty laundry anywhere. Bed is very comfortable, the sleeping area can be separated for more privacy with a solid sliding wooden door. Bathroom boasts a HUGE bathtub build in unique design again. Water pressure is amazing, and hot water comes practically instantaneously. Electrical plugs on all the right places. Beautifully designed pool with a magic view on top floor. The staff is next level amazing. Very friendly, professional and helpful. They helped me with all my needs. Free water bottles (of top quality not the cheap stuff) and two beers waiting for you in the room upon check in. How cool is that?? Area itself is amazing too. Close to all the action but in a quiet street with little traffic (a real problem in many streets of Poblado). Still thinking about this one....

For the price this space was much larger and nicer compared to my friends hotels and airbnbs in the area. Very helpful staff. Strong wifi for my work video needs. Great location with tons of restaurants, cafes, bars in the area. Easy walk to public transportation. The area can be loud at night so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.
