Christian explained everything very well and spent his time to answer all our questions, showed us all the interesting surroundings and made us feel comfortable. The place is magnificient and highly recommended even in offseason due to its great location. Thank you very much! Looking forward to return there.

The entire property appears a bit disorganized (probably due to the ongoing renovations). The room was hot even at night, even though we turned the thermostat down to turn off the heating.

• Guest (9/5): Insgesamt sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit ein paar kleineren Schwächen - Sehr schönes, modernes und geräumiges Apartment (Rax) mit herrlichem Südwest-Balkon, geräumigen Zimmern, großen Kleiderschränken. Ruhige und idyllische Lage mit tollem Bergblick. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, riesiger Kühlschrank, spitzenmäßige Kaffeemaschine (Siebträger-Barista + elektrische Kaffeemühle, ganze Bohnen kostenfrei vorhanden). Ausreichend freie Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Trotz des insgesamt wirklich positiven Eindrucks muss ich leider ein paar Punkte anführen: Es fehlt eine Couch oder gemütliche Sitzecke. Es fehlt ein Wohnzimmer, gibt nur eine Küche mit großem Küchentisch als einzige Sitzmöglichkeit. Will man TV schauen bekommt man Genickstarre, weil dieser sehr hoch an der Wand befestigt ist. Die Matratze des Doppelbetts ist sehr hart und nach mehr als einer Nacht regelrecht schmerzhaft. Es gibt keinen TV im Schlafzimmer, nur einen in der Küche. Die recht steilen Stufen zum sehr weit oben unter der Zimmerdecke gelegenen oberen Kinderetagenbett sind komplett ungesichert, für kleinere Kinder, die Etagenbetten nicht gewohnt sind, ist das doch grenzwertig. Das kombinierte Bio-Duschgel/Seife/Shampoo löste bei uns leider die Haut von den Händen, vermutlich vor allem dann, wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist (ist also nicht gerade hautfreundlich - Bio hin oder her). Nächste Verpflegungsmöglichkeit (Restaurant, Café) mind. gute 20 Minuten entfernt, Auto ist ein Muss, aber das sollte vorher sowieso klar sein.

• Elena Oblog (10/5): If I could give a score of 20, I would do it!)) - We went skiing with our friends in Stuhleck. The accommodation is a 20-minute drive from the ski lifts. Some may find this far, but the road led through cozy Austrian villages, and we could stop at any store or just admire the view from the window, so the journey flew by quite quickly. We stayed in an apartment that exceeded our expectations: spacious, bright, modern, and incredibly clean. Every detail was thought out. Everything was comfortable, and I felt like at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. We cooked our breakfast in our kitchen, which was equipped with all the necessary appliances: from a stove and dishwasher to a microwave and a huge refrigerator. For dinner, we went to a restaurant located a 3-minute drive away. I highly recommend this option to everyone, and we will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Tetszett, hogy volt egy kis bemutató könyv a szállással kapcsoltaban, a történetéről, a működésről, hogy mi a cél, honnan hova szeretnének eljutni. A fenntarthatóság megvalósítása, a mindenmentes túsfürdő, szappan, a "ne teremeljünk" szemetet elv. Remélem sikerül visszajönnünk tavasszal, nyáron és megnézni a környéket, a fehér hótakaró nélkül is:) Nem volt ilyen.
• Daniela (9/5): - Wunderschöne ruhige Lage in der Natur, perfekt für eine kurze Auszeit oder zum Wandern. Das Waldschlössl wird von einer lieben Familie laufend renoviert und man wird herzlich empfangen. Das kleine Doppelzimmer ist sehr gemütlich für 1-2 Personen. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt!

• Tamás (10/5): Békebeli nyugalom mesebeli környéken - A szállás csendes félreeső helyen található, így kikapcsolódásra, túrázásra ideális. A házigazdák nagyon kedvesek és készségesek. Az apartman hatalmas, jól felszerelt és tiszta. A kilátás az erkélyről és a hálószobákból mesebeli. A kávédaráló és a presszógép szenzációs ötlet. Kötelezővé tenném minden szállásnak. :) A konyha jól felszerelt, mindenre is alkalmas, hogy kényelmes legyen az ottlét. Részletes, többnyelvű tájékoztató az apartmanról hasznos, az épület sztorija szenzációs. A fenntarthatóságra törekvés példaértékű. Pár perces sétával tömegközlekedéssel is megközelíthető, de a parkolás is megoldható. Nagyon jó hangulatú az egész szállás és a környék is. A víznyomás a fürdőben kicsit alacsony, és a melegvíz némi vízfolyatás után ér el a fürdőig. A fürdőben és a mosdóban folyamatosan ment az elszívó, aminek a zaját az ajtók becsukásával lehetett elhalkítani. Mi nem jöttünk rá, hogy hogyan lehetne kikapcsolni. A mindenmentes tusfürdő elsőre kicsit furcsa, hogy kevésbé habzik (de ezt az apartman leírásában feltüntetik). Az ágy nekem egy kicsit kemény volt, de ez teljesen szubjektív (én a puhát preferálom). Pár rövidebb hámozókés jól jött volna, mert csak egy kenyérvágó és egy hatalmas szeletelő kés volt a fiókban. Igazából semmi extra negatívumról nem tudunk beszámolni, minden rendben volt. Nagyon ajánlott meglátogatni őket, bármikor újra visszamennénk.

The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a breathtaking view. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and tranquility. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. If I could give it more than a 10, I absolutely would! One of the standout features was how environmentally conscious the apartment is. Every detail reflects a thoughtful effort to be eco-friendly, from the design to the amenities. It’s inspiring to see such a strong commitment to sustainability.

• Gabriela (10/5): Zámocká idyla uprostred hôr - Ubytovanie s výnimočnou atmosférou zámočku na krásnom mieste uprostred hôr, v tichu a s výhľadom na Rax. Apartmán bol nadštandardne priestranný a krásne zariadený, s velikánskym balkónom s posedením, plne vybavenou kuchyňou, posteľou s baldachýnom a deti sa tešili z veľkej poschodovej postele. Vidno, že majitelia venovali veľa úsilia do obnovy zámku a dbali na každý detail, vrátane udržateľnosti - kúrenie tepelnými čerpadlami, solárna elektrina, triedenie odpadu, prírodná kozmetika k dispozícii - poteší každého, kto dbá o životné prostredie. Hostiteľka bola veľmi priateľská a milá, ochotne poradila aj tipy na výlety v okolí. Absolútnym bonusom je možnosť natrhať si zeleninu a bylinky v záhrade. Všetko bolo skvelé, boli sme veľmi spokojní a určite sa sem ešte vrátime. Jediná malá drobnosť - na spanie boli k dispozícii len veľké mäkšie vankúše, čo nemusí každému vyhovovať.
• Annemiek (9/5): Prima verblijf op een rustige locatie! - Het is een prachtig gebouw op een mooie rustige locatie, het appartement is erg ruim en netjes! Er mag gebruik gemaakt worden van de grote moes- kruidentuin! De eigenaren hebben veel oog voor duurzaamheid. Mooi dat er aandacht is voor jonge kunstenaars en fotografen uit de omgeving. De eigenaar is erg behulpzaam en vertelt enthousiast over het huis of eventuele wandelingen/ uitstapjes die je kunt doen. Er is een ruim aanbod van wandelkaarten en informatie uit de omgeving. Het bed lag hard, dat wij iets minder konden waarderen. Mistte wat accessoires die de ruimte gezelliger maken en aankleden.
• Christopher (8/5): Absolut unkompliziert, freundlicher Gastgeber. - Historische Aufarbeitung: An vielen Orten im Haus wurden die Schritte der aufwändige Renovierung dieser alten Residenz durch kleine Hinweise und Fotos der Arbeiten dargestellt. Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist gering. (Aber diesbezüglich bin ich durchaus kleinlich.) Dafür wiederum sind die Matratzen top :)

The rooms are furnished with mismatched materials and furniture, almost like a DIY renovation without much consideration for style or comfort. Attention to detail is lacking, which makes the overall impression underwhelming. It works as a basic tourist hotel for an overnight stop, but it’s not the kind of place where I would feel relaxed or want to spend multiple nights. Our “family room” was very crowded, with barely enough space to move around and not even enough room to open our luggage properly. On top of that, service was disappointing. We had requested a cot in advance, but it wasn’t in the room upon arrival. Instead, the owner asked me to carry it myself to the first floor and set it up. I understand the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation spot, but if the hotel is open to guests, the advertised services should be reliably provided.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. While there were a few small details that didn’t fully match our personal preferences, they didn’t take away from the overall experience. The location is fantastic – close to scenic hikes, the town center, and local shops. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this place is a great base. Excellent value for money!
• Csaszar (10/5): Exceptional - We have enjoyed our stay a lot . The hotel geothermal energy ,spring water, the owners are growing all types of vegetables and fruits and the guests can pick them . Cucumber,kiwi,onion ,berries and fruit trees which are still young but by time.. the rooms are beautiful as well and the owners are very friendly and happy to drive you around. Thank you 😊 The idea of a sustainable hotel with clean energy , to use local products where it is possible. The bee farm and the greenhouse are very impressive. The intensity of lights in the bedrooms can change from high to low which is cool also there is YouTube Netflix and WiFi. Also a plus that the toilet is separated from the bathroom. Nice modern furnitures from real wood .

• Van (9/5): Would definitely want to come back here and stay longer. - We rented a car to get there from Vienna, but next time we will use the train connection from the Vienna airport, which is excellent. with advance booking, it is possible to get a courtesy shuttle to the Schlossl even for hikes or walks. That is a huge benefit in a place that has such beautiful nature and walks.
