• Ken (8/5): Large unit very close to amenities and easy access to everything in the northern Gold Coast area. - Great location just one minute drive to Runaway Bay shopping centre and five minutes to Harbour Town. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Gardens and pool area are overlooking the canal and both are very well maintained. Secure under cover parking is a bonus.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for an amazing price over Easter 2026 Undercover security car parking was also fantastic. Pool area & gardens very clean & tidy too. The only thing was that the lighting on the path leading to the pool/spa area. It was very dark & difficult to see.

• Mclune (10/5): - What a beautiful spot. Me and my boys absolutely loved our stay here. One of my boys loves fishing and took his tackle box and rod and caught 2 fish in the canal which he was absolutely chuffed with. I loved that I could sit on the balcony and watch him fishing or by the pool while he was next to me by the canal. I would definitely recommend to families or anyone wanting a reaxing time away. Wod definitely stay here again. The WiFi doesn't reach tv properly to watch anything on foxtel. And stairs a bit of a paint for up and down, but definitely not a deal breaker for such a beautiful place to be staying at.
• Elisha (4/5): Communication was dissapointing - I communicated that my arrival time would be outside of the check in time and was advised I would be sent a code via sms to access the lock box to get the key and instructions, when I arrived I hadn't received the code so called the number on the wall, a man answered and came to let me in but the first thing he said when he opened the door was "you didn't press the buzzer" not a hello sorry I didn't send the code, how was your trip nothing. He then advised that there was a triathalon happening on Sunday and we wouldn't be able to get our car out on Sunday when checking out so would need to park down the road at the shopping centre. This was not ideal as my young daughter and I were staying along and meant that at 9.30pm when we arrived back at our accomodation we had to park at the shopping centre and walk to our apartment it also meant in the morning when checking out we had to cart all our bags down the road to the shopping centre where our car was parked. We were staying for a dance competiton so had bags of costumes etc. A call ahead of time would have meant we had time to choose to stay elsewhere as we din't feel safe walking alone in the dark, we could have left valuables like school laptop at home as we had thought our car would be in a secure park, we could have parked our beach trolley to be able to transport our bags easier.

• Ange (4/5): Made it unpleasant due to no communication about the event happening - Beautiful view and location Once checked in I was advised I had to move my car out of the car park due to the triathlon which I was not happy about and should have been advised prior so I could have arranged different arrangements! That put the whole experience as not nice and will never book there again. I believe I should be given a partial refund for the lack of communication

• Shane (6/5): Good but bad - The facilities were great liked that it had a dishwasher and all plates cutlery. Quiet nice BBQ,POOL AND SPA. The cleaner seems to be the one making demands and entered the unit without permission, basically kicked out out because we took a little longer packing up suitcases 10 mins past 10am. Internet was slow. Bayview waters needs to reacess the cleaner they use for a more polite and patient cleaner. As a cleaner myself I would not behave in that manner. Still awaiting my 50.00 refund paid to remove the cleaner for 1hr. Given he already kicled my family out a refund is awaiting.

• Corcorans (10/5): Excellent - Bayview Waters apartments suited us perfectly in terms of location. The apartment itself was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, quiet, spacious and a lovely view off the lounge room. The property manager service was exceptional. Will definitely rebook if we're up that way again.

The place was comfortable and well set up. Aside from these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and we enjoyed our time there. However, we did experience some ants and cockroaches during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the toiletries provided were not sufficient for the length of our stay.

• Gillian (9/5): Highly recommended for small families - Lovely modern apartment in convenient and beautiful location, lovely setting, lots of space for small family. Comfortable beds and quiet bedrooms (with windows closed). There are fans in the bedrooms (but no air con) which wasn't a problem with a lovely cross breeze possible but too noisy at night to leave windows open (no noise at all with windows closed), so did get a little warm in bedrooms during the night.

• Michelle (7/5): - the apartment was well situated close to shops and amenities. we stayed there to make travel to the theme parks easier and took about 15 minutes to wet n wild. the apartment was clean and comfortable we had planned to cook a BBQ the first night of our stay as we had a really long busy day, however owner/residents of the apartment complex seemed to take over the BBQ area with quite loud music using the extension cord to the speaker from the BBQ to seating area and was quite a bit of alcohol drinking which as a young family we didn't want to be around. we would have felt like we were impeding on their little party so we ended up having to venture out again and get takeout which wasn't meant to be in the budget

The peacefulness of the place and its surounds is very restful. - Spacious, clean, self contained with washing machine and under cover secure parking, The property has good facilities and is close to shops, about 10 mins walk and also close by to beach, about 5 mins walk away. The unit is in a very good quiet location and not far by car, from Harbour Town Shopping Centre and Southport broadwater. There was nothing I disliked about the place. My only comment is that the internet was very slow to download movies. There was palpable lag. Made it difficult to watch movies at night on the provided Foxtel. It would be useful if that was upgraded.

Do yourself a favour and don’t even consider it. The property manager, the smell, the fact you have to walk 7 flights of stairs because they don’t even have an elevator. Not kid friendly.

• Scott (9/5): Great few days at Runaway Bay, thanks to this location - The location, pool area, size of the apartment and facilities, beautiful canal views from the front and back, and a nice patio area at both the rear and via the master. Good bathroom facilities too. Bed was a little small and not my comfort style - but that is more personal preference. You get some noise from apartment #42 from the road, so if that bothers you be aware - it didn't bother use.
• Tiffy9551 (9/5): Great location, great apartment. highly recommend this one - The apartment was a really good size, the location was perfect. The pool was a great size for the kids, The check in was really easy. Parking was good for my car but not my son's as he has a 4x4 and the height of the parking was to low. Thankfully though there is street parking which doesn't cost, which is a plus. Rooms are lovely, well stocked. Staff were friendly. I would recommend it for families as it's not to close to the town but still within 20 mins of parks and town center. There are a lot of places to eat close by as well. Parking was to low for my son's car. We needed at least 2.2m or 2.4m for getting under safely. However there was on street parking and no damaging storms that night. Parking outside did not cost either.

• Brad (9/5): Overall great location, very functional apartments and somewhere we would stay again. - For the price the location and facilities were great. We were on the ground floor so didn’t have the best of views but still had a view. The gardens are nice. The pool was good and the spa was great. It was about 5 mins walk to the beach and park at the end of the road. It has a shopping centre about 500m or less down the road. The kitchen was adequate to cook many meals. The floor is a bit uneven and though the apartment was clean there were a lot of surfaces that just need a dust.

The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable for us personally. There is no lift and no assistance offered to carry bags up 4 flights of stairs, so be aware of this.
