Guest Reviews
- Isabella (10/5): Excellent rural property to stay in. We enjoyed the quaint cabin and beautiful nature. - Excellent rural property run by a friendly family.
- Cobus (10/5): Wish we had time to spend another day - Fantastic location near area’s main attractions. Lovely setting Nothing
- Russ (7/5): Good -
- Carolynne (7/5): Quiet and comfortable - Quiet and comfortable. Secluded but short distance from Venus Bay and Talia Caves and other beaches.
- Ritchie (7/5): Remote cabin which was dog friendly. - My husband said his favourite place. Isolated, basic cabin accommodation.
Hear the roar of the ocean in the distance. Plenty of room to walk our dog, and booked here because it was dog friendly. Hosts accomodated me changing our arrival date. Very remote location for some.
Bit too isolated for me.
- Sabrina (10/5): - We stayed at the Piccidilly cottage just for a night as we were driving through to Perth. It would have been good to enjoy the outback retreat for a couple of days. The best part was the Deep Space Observatory we got to enjoy completely free Thanks to PK Imaging it was an awesome experience we had . Hats off to his passion for Deep Space. The was the highlight of our stay.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Tim (3/5): Disappointing for the amount charged compared to other places we stayed at on the Eyre peninsula - Liked the location and how quiet the place was. Let gown by several maintenance issues that weren’t addressed during our stay eg: TV, power and water.
No communication offered when the power went at the whole facility and there was no water. This was not resolved before we left despite a generator on the property.
- Deborah (9/5): Beautiful part of the world - The location was amazing and owners were so helpful
Hope to come again and relax at Coodlie!
- Ezgi (10/5): Exceptional - I liked that the owners were friendly. I liked that the room was clean, that there was a game room for children (such as pool, table tennis, basketball), and that there was a presentation about astronomy. I had never examined the night sky so consciously before. I am looking forward to the next holiday. 😊
- Wirihana (9/5): I had the pleasure of meeting the owner a short distance down the road at a service station. She was easy to talk to and - Coodlie was a great change from the city life. The area is so peaceful and the scenery was stunning. N/A
- Herminia (7/5): Good -
- Heather (6/5): Pleasant -

Couple of nights to switch off, Krystina and Paul have been welcoming us like friends and made us confortable straight away.

- Steph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): Great place to relax and explore! - Authentic, adventurous, relaxing, ideal to recharge!!! What an amazing magic place to stay. I wish we knew better and had booked for more days. Will try to come back…!!!! Also, thank you Christina and Tolis for the information and warm welcome, we really felt like home! N/A
- Robert (8/5): Peaceful and relaxing - Quietness Small beds
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Clive (8/5): great place Milo the dog is friendly. - Location was good, new owners, Christina was great. We booked online thru booking .com, but the new owners had no idea what was going on ... Not their fault as no info was sent to them from previous owners or booking .com.. It was a right mix up, but Christina accepted our verbal booking at face-to-face level. Christina is a STAR OPERATOR.
Yes, we will definitely be staying there again with a group next time.
Thankyou Christina. The bed was a bit short in length, I'm six foot plus, Queen size bed would be perfect.
- Dion (5/5): Nice place to stay but a bit of a bitter taste left in our mouth due to lack of cleanliness. - Great location and lots of places to visit nearby. Talia caves is always fantastic to visit and we love the drive down the beach from Talia to Walkers Rock. Murphys Haystacks and Tyringa beach are always highlights. West coast is the best coast! The accommodation could have been cleaner when we arrived. We had to sweep the floor when we arrived as it was dirty. The decking had lots of nails/wooden staples sticking up which was a hazard to our kids so I hit them back in with my hammer. There was a long term resident spider living in the bedside window in the kids bedroom which I removed. The ceiling fan in the main living area was filthy like it has never been cleaned. The main table in the dining room was sticky all over the table top. The tv didn't work (not that we needed it). The lady who was caretaking while the owners were away was polite but not overly helpful. Our stay would have been much better if some time had been taken to clean the property before our arrival. I understand its a rural property but no reason for it not to be clean.
- Stephen (7/5): Peace and lovely beaches. - Isolated spot and very quiet. Hosts were friendly and everything was very casual. Very beautiful area with amazing beaches close by. Venus Bay easily accessible. Not easy to fix and already recognised by management: the area seems to be prone to a glut of flies. Necessary to keep doors shut and slip in and out quickly. It didn't faze us all that much.
- Freddauz (5/5): Passable - Very quiet area
Close to the beach
Lots of nature around Apparently the owner is new. There is no communal kitchen anymore, we had 1 pan to cook everything.
BBQ is advertised but apparently was taken by another host so we couldnt use it.
Spider webs in the room.
Got lost to get to the beach, the map is not really well explained...
Wifi doesnt work.
- Jenny (6/5): Pleasant -
- Isiri (8/5): Very good - It inclusive with private beach that you can visited.
- Krystal (10/5): great spot - convenient none
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (5/5): Disappointing as it sounded a great place to stay, it isn’t! - Good location near Venus Bay and Talia Caves Very tired and lacked many items we assume are provided at the price charged- old pilled sheets, only a double bed, no matches for gas stove, no soap, no hand towel, one glass. Not acceptable.
- Katherine (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable and well-equipped we really enjoyed our stay… plus the retreat truly delivered for us with respec - Off the beaten track (quiet and peaceful) with well-equipped, comfortable cabins. Plenty of birdlife and native mammals (Southern Hairy Nose Wombat!!) to enjoy!
- Dominique (8/5): Very good -
