sandra (8/5): Sienne - Très bon contact avant notre arrivée et avec la propriétaire qui nous a reçus et conduit au logement à notre arrivée . Communication facile avant arrivée et pendant . Logement en pierre apparente ,avec de beaux meubles anciens dans une ancienne ferme . A 15 min en voiture de Sienne à l'entrée du village Confortable ,très propre ,douche chaude ,linge de lit et serviettes agréables ,de quoi cuisiner . Pas de tv mais ce n' est pas un problème ,le wifi fonctionne bien . Bon séjour . Le logement n'est pas dans la propriété ni dans le bâtiment principal que l'on voit sur les photos mais Il se situe à 500m Pas un problème pour nous mais faut le savoir . Le seul bémol est qu'il se trouve au bord de la route qui donne accès au village .Cette route est fréquentée et les voitures roulent vites . Donc on entend de la chambre le bruit même les fenêtres fermées . Ça risque de gêner les personnes qui ont besoin de silence pour dormir . Manque un four micro -onde .

Abbiamo viaggiato con il nostro cane (pastore australiano) e siamo stati accolto benissimo. Il ristorante all'interno della struttura è davvero ottimo, da provare assolutamente La vasca in bagno..ma solo per gusto personale perché la trovo scomoda per farsi la doccia.

Rosangela (10/5): - La villa è molto caratteristica, unbposto d'altri tempi con un giardino bellissimo che regala un senso di tranquillità unico.L'accoglienza è molto familiare, non manca nulla. Noi siamo andati in occasione della gran fondo strade bianche e abbiamo avuto tutto il supporto possibile.

Márcia (8/5): Espaço agradável! - O espaço é grande e agradável. Está localizado num sítio calmo, ótimo para relaxar, mas que tem todos os serviços perto. É um bom ponto de partida para conhecer a Toscana. Os espaços interiores da casa e os exteriores podiam estar mais bem cuidados. A piscina é muito agradável, mas precisava de alguma manutenção. Alguns colchões não são confortáveis!

Mariapaola (8/5): Lovely stay - Great location, In the hills and close to Siena (to be reached by car). The property is an old mansion, very typical and beautiful. The restaurant they have is superb, food is impressive, highly recommended! Nothing in particular, the breakfast room is a bit tiny compared to the huge spaces of the villa, but the staff is very caring and welcoming.

Thomas (10/5): a really special place to stay! - The Fattoria di Cavaglioni is just an amazing place to stay. I spent there a week alone to work, do some studies and enjoying Tuscany beside (it‘s also a good starting place to follow some amazing routes on your bike). The history of this place permeates every corner, adorned with lovely details. My room was beautifully appointed, providing the perfect retreat. The tranquility and the spacious greenery of the estate created an idyllic setting that I greatly enjoyed. The warm and attentive nature of the family running this estate made my stay even more enjoyable. Help was always provided. In the house there is everything you need. Rooms for relaxing and a good furnished and comfortable kitchen. Also try the (family owned) restaurant on the areal and buy some wine and olive oil, it‘s worth it! -

Julia (9/5): Superb - Incredible staff, thank you to Yolanda! Lovely breakfast in the AM, my partner didn’t care for the salami the first day so she went out and served us ham the next morning. Especially thoughtful touch. Room was incredibly warm. Obviously it was summer in Italy, we get it, but there are plenty of spots in this country with a breeze or cool old rooms. This was not one of those places. They provided a fan, which helped a bit, but if you’re particularly sensitive to heat I’d be cautious.
Ro (10/5): Exceptional - It is an honor to be able to stay in this beautiful place with a long history. They are cultivating, preserving and sharing cultural heritage well. The owner and daughter there are very kind and considerate. He held my heavy carrier together. Also, I almost couldn't eat breakfast because of the early morning check-out on my last day, but I was able to eat breakfast early because she called me a taxi and was considerate. The break time in the bio pool was really peaceful. The bus stop was right in front of me, so it was easy to get to Siena. The village was within walking distance, so it was convenient to buy what you needed from the coop. I will come back here again next summer.

Anonymous (9/5): great experience - We loved the experience of living in an old Tuscan fortress surrounded by nature, all of this reachable from Siena by public transport. It is an old building full of antique furniture and furnishing, with huge rooms and common spaces. We especially loved the small balcony in the kitchen, with amazing view - perfect for a morning coffee or evening drink. We also had a chance to visit the restaurant and it was the best food experience we had during our trip to Tuscany. It was also very interesting to chat with the lady who owned the place about its history and how the whole region changed over the last decades.
Susan (10/5): Authentic and pleasurable historic villa - Fabulous historic villa in wonderful landscape. Authentic home with fascinating details. A sincere glimpse into our hosts history and lives. Guest rooms are en suite, with windows opening onto the iconic Tuscan landscape. Guests have an informal sitting area, a formal sitting area, and a fully fitted common kitchen making meal preparation or just tea or coffee imminently possible. Breakfast is included. Modern cuisine in a chic environment restaurant on site. The estate produces its own wine and olive oil. Be sure to walk the garden to the lemon tree house, with lemon trees in terra cotta pots. A spring fed swimming pool available in the summer. The village is a short stroll from the front door, with shops and an excellent bakery with coffee and gelato. The owner and her daughter are gracious and friendly hosts. I could while away hours in the area, returning to the home atmosphere of this authentic Tuscan residence. I have some difficulty with stairs. Not a place to stay if you have mobility challenges.

Only 15 minutes from siennaVery simple and peaceful and a very Independence Day. Super cool pool. Good cold breakfast each morning with Yolanda who was an excellent host. But it’s not a word breakfast. Good coffee!Generous house who help fill needs! short walk into the village where there’s a nice local bar that’s always fall in the morning and evenings The grass was not mowed nor where the leaves picked up. there weren’t many other guests and the owners were gone during harvest season.

Nice restaurant in village. !5 minutes from Siena. stay in farmhouse has a room on ground floor that does nt require stair climbing. However there is no tv on ground floor. No tv on ground floor of farmhouse building. Difficulty communicating with property on arrival day as well as check in. Address hard to find.
Maria (8/5): Experience the joy and tranquility of the senese landscape - the tower is an amazing experience, you really feel like you are back in time and is quite enjoyable. also the premises are breathtaking, the walk from the entrance to the tower is something really enjoyable! and the restaurant! you have to try to restaurant, the people are beyond nice, the food is dreamy! shout out to the bread chef that makes pieces from heaven! and the goose, forget your preconceptions and just go for it!! you will not regret it! the bed of the tower was incredibly hard, and not hard in an ergonomic way but quite uncomfortable to sleep in. please consider changing the mattress of the whole bed in particular. also there were little bugs in the bed and the bedroom. I understand is a trade for the experience of the tower but it gets a bit uncomfortable when I tried to sleep and saw a little bug walking on the sheets.
