• daamini (8/5): clean and beautiful location. - location and view amazing. Clean and spacious. Bed not comfortable.Cold and not enough blankets. Host is not very friendly. Send the door code as we were driving there late after work. Did not communicate well about key pick up when I called prior to holiday period. Had to work it out ourselves. Poor lighting in the surroundings pathway.

• Kangas (10/5): - Well I have to say "I liked everything, the staff were so polite, helpful and always on call to help, the view/ location is just amazing to sit and relax, they offer free activities, eletric BBQ with big awesome timber tables under a well built gazebo right on the water front, well designed located rooms, clean and spacious rooms, exellent parking so close a visible from room verandah, which is really big with lay back sun chairs and large out door table, they love animals so invite and treat your close friend (dog) as a guest as much as they do you, I would definitely recommend this place to be at the top of tranquil places and must visit to admire, very professional friendly family own business. I was and still am so amazed with my visit at Dungowan Holiday Accommodation five star without a doubt! I would've preferred it to be in Summer or Winter it was cold, though I did just come down from Queensland. I can't pick one thing I dislike for there isn't any amongst all the positive.

• leila (5/5): The stay was not what we expected, but the scenery and the kangaroos were very nice. - The highlight of our stay was definitely the kangaroos and the beautiful view. Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. Cleanliness was a major concern — the floors, carpets, and dishes were not properly cleaned. One of the beds was also quite noisy, which affected our sleep. In addition, the windows facing the beautiful view were dirty, which was disappointing. The only positives were the kangaroos and the lovely scenery. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration, as the property has great potential if these issues are addressed.

It was a small town, not many people staying in the place, and of course it will be quiet. compared to any accommodation we stayed this is the most expensive one and yet poorest facility. It was also noisy, with people speaking loudly near the BBQ area late at night. There’s no nearby medical centre or hospital, which may concern some travellers. Not worth the price we paid. Overall, not the relaxing stay we expected.

It’s only 5 mins drive to Hyams Beach, 7 mins to Booderee national park with beaches and 7 mins to a shopping centre, but located at a quiet bayside. Kids can ride kayak with parents; grandparents can go fishing just outside the door. Owners are kind.
