- Belinda (7/5): Great location, average facilities - Great location and view Although the unit had a kitchen, it was there was very little in terms of cooking utensils. For a superior room, furniture was rudimentary, reading lamps were not functional and the bedroom was very poky.
- Leanne (9/5): As above - View and location The fan in the bathroom was not working. However, a phone call and a maintenance man arrived and set about getting it fixed. The bar fridge wouldn’t get cold and drinks etc weren’t cold enough and the icecreams melted. However after 2 days of putting up with it we rang to get maintenance up again and with 1/2 an hour a new fridge was put in. Apart from these two issues everything else was perfect. We will definitely be back.

It took us 3 days to get internet after complaining multiple times to staff. Upon entry the room smelled mouldy and there was mould on the roof in various locations within the apartment. The shower was difficult to get into and was quite strange to have a viewing screen into the kitchen. The room overall cleanliness was not great and overall value for money was quite poor.

Hope by July 2026 the scaffolding all be gone - The location of the hotel and the staff at the hotel were brilliant, but the room was tired and needs a update. Torn carpet and chipped tiles. The single beds were very single, so small and I have no idea how a larger person would sleep. The room No 401 was right on the corner of Venning Street and so noisy during the night. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. The WiFi very intermittent, no good for a business traveller. After all these issues though, had an enjoyable break, but not sure if we would go to the Mantra again. Sorry this should have been below.
