- James (1/5): Extremely disappointed. The room was insect infected. - The 1st night's 4th floor room was insect infested as we found the next morning. We spent that morning until late afternoon (not in the flat) finding an independent (of the landlord) "Hausmeister" service. He came and confirmed the room was insect infected (he took photos - with a magnifying lens - of the tiny insects ). He emailed the photos to an insect removal expert service which confirmed the likely insect type. We, with the "Hausmeister" present, explained the status and showed the photos and then asked the on-site temporary reception service (we recorded the service person's name) about swapping rooms. Initial answer - all rooms booked. He said he was calling his next level up contact to get instructions on what to do. No one answered. This day (Thursday) was a german public holiday. Only after we started mentioning - full refund of our 4 night booking and escalating the matter did he give us a room (ground floor, tv not working, noisy). We could not find a replacement flat at around the same price on the day of the public holiday. Freiburg seemed to be pretty well booked out. A spoiled holiday. We will be asking booking.com for a full refund of our booking. BTW: The photos that were taken are not uploaded (for now). And the reason is that, we aren't sure whether the publishing of the photos is OK under german laws.

- LAMAMIE DE CLAIRAC (9/5): Apartamento cómodo a un paso del centro histórico de la ciudad. Ideal para estancias de varios días. - Situación excelente, a muy poca distancia del centro histórico y de la estación central (Hauptbanhof), con supermercados y aparcamientos muy cercanos. Apartamento cómodo, con buen acceso mediante ascensor; bien equipado y limpio. Personal amable y colaborador. Nosotros lo hemos utilizado como base para visitar la ciudad y también otros destinos de la parte sur de la Selva Negra. El único aspecto negativo que impide darle la máxima puntuación es la cama king size. Pese a ser cómoda, sus dimensiones hacen que esté totalmente encajonada entre tres paredes y solo pueda bajarse de ella por un lateral. Eso condiciona mucho en caso de necesidad de levantarse al baño.

- Carmen (8/5): schönes Appartement für einen entspannten Kurzurlaub - gute Lage, sehr sauberes, grosses Appartement, Handtücher und Duschtücher vorhanden, praktische Küchenausstattung: Geschirr, Pfannen, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler mit Tabs und Kaffeemaschine mit vielen Pads vorhanden. Bei geschlossenen Fenster sehr ruhig. Geschäfte und Restaurant in 5-10min zu Fuss erreichbar. Schlafsofa eher zweckmäßig für Kinder, quietscht bei der geringsten Bewegung und die Matratze ist sehr weich. Doppelbett ist nur 160cm und eine Seite ist an der Wand. Parkplatz liegt in einem Innenhof ca 5min von der Wohnung entfernt und ist eher eng, braucht viel Geduld beim Ausparken.

- Katharina (7/5): Guter kurzer Aufenthalt - Gute Lage, modern eingerichtet, viel Platz und hilfsbereites Personal. Das beworbene High-Speed-Internet hatte manchmal Verbindungsschwierigkeiten. Aufgrund des Wetterumschwungs waren ein paar Kleemilbeln im Appartement unterwegs. Diese sind nicht gesundheitsschädlich, hinterlassen aber unschöne rote Flecken. Netterweise haben wir auf Anfrage direkt ein neues Spannbettuch erhalten.

- Meyer (10/5): - Unser Apartment war komfortabel und angenehm groß. Sogar der Balkon hat genügend Platz für vier Leute geboten. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ebenfalls gut und sehr nah zum Zentrum. Es gibt nichts Negatives.

Pero no tenía sofá (en las fotos aparecía un sofá, pero a mí no me tocó). Tampoco me tocó balcón y lo hubiera agradecido. Al menos, las vistan eran a la Catedral. Las almohadas muy incómodas. La ducha bien y los servicios de cocina, bien. El lounge, abajo, bien. Se estaba muy a gusto. El personal intentó ayudar en todo momento. La WiFi en mi habitación no funcionaba del todo bien. Se cortaba bastante. Esto sí me supuso problema porque tuve que teletrabajar varios días. Había buscando un alojamiento con buena conexión a internet para poder trabajar y en eso, sí tuve problema. En bastantes momentos tuve que tirar de los datos del móvil. El check-in fue bastante complicado porque les falló la máquina de entrada. Al menos, en recepción había personal para ayudar, pero tuve que esperar algunas horas. Pude dejar la mochila y salir a dar una vuelta mientras lo solucionaban.

- Lori (7/5): - Our major issue with the stay was that we specifically chose a stay that had a washing machine, because we were on a long trip and would need to do laundry at this point of our trip. When we arrived, we discovered that THERE WAS NO WASHING MACHINE. As we checked in late at night, there was no staff to discuss this with. We had to get up early the next morning to spend almost 2 hours in a laundromat before our scheduled activities. This was very disappointing, as we specifically chose this stay because of the washing machine in the apartment.

- Richard (9/5): Very comfy and great value. - Beautifully designed. The small kitchen had everything I needed and the bed was very comfy. The location is superb - a quick hop to transport link (Germany really has got this down to an art form - use the DB Navigator app and swipe yourself on and off the transport. It works out the cost later). You're also close to the historic high street and market. There's a handy Lidl supermarket within 300 metres - into a backstreet mall and down one floor. The incredible Schlossberg hill in the city centre is close too and well worth exploring. The busy adjacent street could be shut away very easily with the automatic external shutters. But it was occasionally noisy. I was in room one which backs onto the Reception area and that was a bit noisy too - especially when people were depositing key cards. The automation works well, but it's a little impersonal.

Kleines Appartement mit Küche, Kaffee, Spülmittel etc. pp...alles sauber und funktional. Das Team ein Traum - jede auch noch so doofe Frage wurde prompt und nett über booking.com beantwortet, außergewöhnlich !!! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert - auch gebuchter Parkplatz zwei Straßen weiter gut zu finden. Jederzeit wieder 😇 Bin etwas erschrocken über die Info, man solle alles "besenrein" hinterlassen - gilt aber nur für die "Klientel", bei denen es länger als eine Stunde dauert, alles wieder in den Originalzustand zu versetzen Soll es leider des öfteren geben ...auf uns trifft das nicht zu, deswegen alles gut 👍

- Kanellopoulou (4/5): Keine gute Erfahrung - ich würde es nicht empfehlen - Nichts 1. Ich habe im Apartment 001 im Erdgeschoss direkt neben der Haustür übernachtet. Es war extrem laut, sodass ich die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen konnte. Trotz geschlossener Fenster und Rollläden waren Geräusche von der Straße deutlich zu hören. Zusätzlich war jedes Öffnen der Haustür sehr laut wahrnehmbar. 2. Laut Ihrer Website ist die Rezeption bis 21:00 Uhr für den Check-in besetzt. Ich bin jedoch bereits um 20:00 Uhr angekommen, und es war niemand vor Ort. Das Check-in-Terminal konnte meine Reservierung zunächst nicht finden, sodass ich etwa 10 Minuten damit verbracht habe. Anschließend musste ich telefonisch Kontakt aufnehmen, und erst nach weiteren 10 Minuten konnte ich einchecken. Insgesamt hat der Check-in somit etwa 20 Minuten gedauert. 3. Aufgrund des Lärms habe ich mich in dem Zimmer überhaupt nicht wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer selbst war zwar in Ordnung, jedoch haben die durchgehend hörbaren Geräusche von draußen den Aufenthalt sehr unangenehm gemacht. 4. Zusätzlich hat das Wasser in der Toilette in der Nacht unangenehm gerochen. 5. Für diese Erfahrung habe ich 161 € für nur eine Nacht bezahlt, was ich angesichts der geschilderten Mängel als absolut unangemessen empfinde.

- Jan (6/5): - Excellent location and the apartment was well equipped. The washing machine and dryer were in the basement, not in the room as stated on booking.com but this wasn't a problem for us. Only 2 of the 4 window shutters worked meaning the room was light in the morning. When we spoke to reception they said the problem had been reported and they were waiting for it to be fixed. When we returned to the room on our 2nd day the blinds were down so we thought they were fixed. It turns out they wouldn't open now! The towels need replacing, they were very thin

Nur wenige Gehminuten zur Altstadt. Einfaches Check-In mit guter Anweisung per Mail, am Automaten beim Eingang erhält man die Zimmerkarte Leider hat immer etwas gebrummt/ gerauscht aus der Lüftung oder Klimaanlage. Wir habens nicht herausgefunden. Das störte beim Einschlafen.

- Nico (7/5): Sehr gute Lage, bis auf ein paar Dinge auch passabel - Die Lage war sehr gut, hatten wir auch extra so gewählt. Auch die Sauberkeit war ok. Auch das Bad war in Ordnung. Check-In und -Out und die Parkplatzreservierung und -Zutei war in Ordnung. Die Zimmeraufteilung und Raumgröße insbesondere des Schlafzimmers war nicht ideal. Auch wenn es mit seitlichem Bettzugang (o.ä.) beschrieben war, ging aus den Bildern nicht gut hervor, dass das Schlafzimmer nur so breit, wie das Bett lang war. Alles erträglich, aber nicht schön; hätten wir so nicht gebucht. Sehr schlecht war das kleine Bett mit einer sehr weichen, vermutlich durchgelegenen Matratze und die sehr verwaschenen Handtücher. Dies stand zwar schon in vielen, auch älteren Kommentaren, hatten wir aber bei Buchung nicht für so schlimm gehalten.
