• Bernd (7/5): Zu warmes Zimmer - Modernes Bad, alles top sauber und gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Man kann gut vor dem Hotel parken und einen Skiraum gibt es auch. Hatte Zimmer 9, das sehr schmal und klein war. Wenn man reinkommt, kann man links gleich ins Bett steigen. Was mich aber am meisten gestört hat, war, dass es sehr warm im Zimmer war. Den Heizkörper habe ich ganz ausgeschaltet und trotzdem musste ich mit gekipptem Fenster schlafen, damit es einigermaßen erträglich war. Als ich ankam, wurde der Check-in über das Videotelefon gemacht. Warum mir nicht gleich gesagt wurde, wo ich den Skiraum finde, habe ich bis zum Schluss nicht verstanden. Es hieß, das machen wir am nächsten Tag. Am Morgen dann hieß es, wenn ich vom Skifahren zurückkomme. Habe den Raum dann selbst aufgesucht, wobei der Besitzer dann erstaunt war und sich Sorgen um sein Garagentor gemacht hat, das man nicht anrühren darf. Strange...

• Andreas (10/5): Umgeben von Bergen und Seen, ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und entspannen, das nenn ich Urlaub !!! - Das Hotels liegt mitten in Brand in ruhiger und perfekter Lage. Das Zimmer erfüllte meine Erwartungen, alles da, alles sauber und ordentlich, sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Das Bett, ich hab Rücken, war perfekt und ich konnte darin sehr gut schlafen. Die Einrichtung ist modern, Holz dominiert und verleiht dem Ganzen einen sehr angenehmen und natürlichen Charakter. Auch das Bad mit Regendusche und kostenlosen, gut duftenden Pflegeprodukten möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen. Das Highlight am Morgen jedesmal das Frühstück und auch hier wurde ich sehr positiv überrascht. Ein Kaffeeautomat der kaum einen Wunsch offen läßt und natürlich auch heißes Wasser für Tee kann. Egal mit was man sein Brötchen oder Baguette belegen möchte, es gibt ausreichend Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Marmelade und Co. Das trifft auch für alle Müsli-Liebhaber zu und wer möchte, kann sich sein Ei selber kochen. Im Keller befindet sich die hoteleigene und kostenlose Sauna, in welcher man die Ruhe und Wärme nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag rund um Brand genießen kann. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich hier auch den Hotelchef, welcher nicht nur hilfsbereit und symphatisch ist, sondern sich auch immer um alle Gäste bemüht und dabei stets gute Laune verbreitet. Ich fühlte mich hier wie zu hause und werde mit Sicherheit wiederkommen !! Das Wetter ist leider ein Faktor welcher weder planbar noch berechenbar ist, aber die Location entschädigt für alles.
• Dr.-medic Veronica (10/5): Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt - Als Familienbetrieb geführt habe ich in das Hotel eine sehr angenehme, familiäre und ruhige Atmosphäre gefunden. Das Badezimmer ist auch modern renoviert mit Radio. Herr Beck, der Gastgeber hat uns jeden Morgen beim Frühstück empfangen. Übrigens, er ist ein passionierter und akkreditiertet Skilehrer... Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

• Kopp (8/5): Einfache aber schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage. - Super Lage, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet. Verglaster Balkon mit Fenstern zum Öffnen. Freundlicher Gastgeber. Matratzen extrem weich. Frühstück erst ab 8 Uhr.

• Swapnil (8/5): Very good - We spent 2 nights here in June during our Austria road trip. We were checked in by a very sweet elderly lady in her 80's who only spoke German. Our room on the second floor was spacious and clean. It had a balcony and beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom was modern and the shower was the best amongst all the places that we stayed. The linen, towels & toiletries were of a good quality. There were sufficient parking slots for cars,so parking was easy & free. We were given free passes (summer cards) for the cable cars in and around Brand/Brandnertal for the duration of our stay. As it was mid-June only a limited cable cars were open, but we could visit Lunersee using the Lunerseebahn and a couple of other rides in Brand. The continental breakfast only opens at 8am, even though the sunrise is around 5am in summer. It should start at 7am at the very least. Breakfast consists of just basic stuff such as cereals, cold cuts, bread and jam. The only hot option is eggs which you need to boil in the machine provided in a corner. Also, there is no coffee maker or hot water kettle in the room, so it was a big let down as we are early risers and wanted to hit the hiking trails quite early.

• Thomas (6/5): A very pleasant stay in a charming mountain village - Good location not far from the centre of Brand, very good sauna and relaxing room Breakfast at 8:00 is too late, it should start at 7:30 the latest, better at 7:00. We found it a bit disturbing to be asked several times, if we were done using the sauna, while we were just in progress or about to finish.

• Joshua (10/5): Fantastic location and even better Hosts! - My stay at Hotel Garni Madrisa was fantastic. What a beautiful and stunning area made even better with such a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, rooms are big and comfortable with electric shutters (nice touch) and a great breakfast. The hosts are very welcoming and were very very helpful with giving recommendations of things to do and how to get around. Nothing!

Also comes with free cable way passes, and the hikes that were recommended by the hostess where very enjoyable and relaxing even for a day trip. Personally I would come back every year if I could, this was an amazing property.
