• Nina (8/5): A lovely location with a friendly host which made it feel like staying at a friends house - The hotel apartment is centrally located in the Waldhaus area of Flims, with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby. And more importantly it is close to the bus stop into Flims for the ski lifts. The host is very friendly and there is a nice little bar in the common area of the hotel, which has an honesty box to help yourself if he's not around. We requested breakfast which was a typical continental fare with juices, cheeses, meat, cereals and fresh breads and excellent value when compared to eating breakfast out . The apartment is a good size, with a separate kitchen area and a decent balcony. The host also gave us a few ski run suggestions. Overall it felt like staying at a friends house My only complaint was that the shower was a little cramped, as you need to stand in the bath.

• Pinar (9/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr liebe und nette Menschen. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Silvester mit unserem Hund und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Wir hatten in der 2. Nacht leider Pech mit unseren Zimmernachbarn, die bis 2 Uhr Krach gemacht haben.

• Venla (9/5): Comfortable stay with a sauna. - Very nice apartment, everything we needed was there. Even more, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper. Also, the apartment was very clean and cozy. I especially lowed the rugs. There is a proper sauna and we could go in with our kids, which is rare. Only, outside there is nothing, no sign, at the door that says “Hotel” so we hesitated to go in. It could as well be a door to someone’s home. The receptionist was apparently new and was not too talkative. Also we did say that we want to ordered breakfast rolls and they told us to do it on a webpage but did not point out to do it before 17 so we missed that. Luckily there is a grocery shop very close by and we got our bread there.

Zeer rustig aan de rand van Flims gelegen. Eenpersoonsstudio voor 2 had smal bed maar dat was voor 2 nachten geen groot probleem. Het keukentje was prima uitgerust dus we hebben 2 dagen voor onszelf gezorgd en dat beviel uitstekend

Location is great, equally close to Laax and Flims by bus. Staff very friendly and helpful :) Bed too soft. Some people might prefer it, but for me is not confortable

• John (10/5): A fabulous place to stay: couldn't be better: well equipped kitchen; most beautiful sauna - A perfect place to stay to ski in Flims. A beautifully equipped kitchenette, with everything you could want to cook: not just a minimal load from IKEA, but pans, and grater, and tongs and salad bowl and silverware! A patio, leading onto the garden, with two chairs and a parasol In other words, the hotel's owners have really thought about what you'll need, and want. An easy journey from Zurich airport: train to Chur, and then a bus to Flims Caumasee. From there a two minute walk. And a transfer bus every two or three minutes from the same stop to the ski lifts. OK: it's not ski in ski out- but not many places in Flims are. AND it's so easy to make the 3 minute journey, AND when you get back to the hotel, it's quiet. (You can go for a stroll on a walking trail immediately from the hotel, into forest toward a lake, past some horses). Now that beats any 5 star hotel with a pool and casino! The owner is kind and gentle- and the sauna..... The sauna is the best in the world: not a sweaty cubby hole. It's on the top floor, with a glass wall, overlooking the mountains and forest. After a day's skiing you can watch the sun set on the peaks as you relax..... Honestly: there was nothing I didn't like about the hotel: it wildly surpassed my expectations.

The flats are very basic but it works for what we needed. The bus runs few meters away so it is very easy to access the ski lifts Bed was not very comfortable.

• Epengfei (8/5): A super good experience - Super convenient location. The hotel is very close to the bus/coach station. The hiking trail that leads to the famous Caumasee is literally in front of the door. Staff are professional, helpful and friendly. The interior of the hotel is traditionally decorated. The restaurant, the public area and the rooms all features a strong Swiss characteristic. The breakfast could have more options. Noise was quite noticeable in our room, which was very close to the restaurant. If you are sensitive to noise please request for a room at the far end of the corridor.
