Guest Reviews
- Marilyn (8/5): - Location. Room . Staff. Kitchen faculties but no cutlery!
- Karen (7/5): - Very good communication with the host. The location was perfect and the bed is comfortable.
- JAVIER ADOLFO (10/5): - The highlight of our stay was definitely the room, which was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. We also really appreciated the excellent service provided by the staff, especially the man who attended us — he was friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

- Rowland (7/5): - Room was clean and spacious high ceiling bed was a bit soft but comfortable. The entrance and hallway is a bit run down and wallpaper peeling off. Could do with a touch up. Address not true to location. It’s on 17 Great Cumberland Mews. I don’t understand how the property host can get away listing it as a different address. So it was confusing to meet with the property to get keys. No self check in and had to make appointment to collect keys which was also a bit of a trouble. Lady that helped with check in was very kind and helpful so that was very helpful during my stay.
Bed was doorgezakt. De afwerking van de kamer was niet zo goed. De douchekop kwam minder water uit door de grote hoeveelheid kalk.
Het was qua schoonheid prima, naar niet heel schoon.
- Reginald (7/5): Unbelievable great value for the prestigious location. Close to all the shops - I liked the location as it was very peaceful and clean, it was nicely hidden but gave me a tasteful residential feeling in the midst of the city, at first I thought it was another hotel but was pleasantly surprised that it a very quiet nice place to rest! The room is spacious with multiple options for lighting. The bathroom also very spacious and the shower was also above satisfactory would definitely come and use again Would’ve been nice to have a selection of teas and coffee however there is a local convenience store only 3 mins walk away, and for breakfast there is a Gail’s bakery nearby just min away from the property

- Carolyn (3/5): -
- Mireille (10/5): - The room was perfect, location good Every was good
- Rabi (10/5): Nothing special to say.. they are so kind and their property was so clean - Quiet Taking the stairs to go to our room
- Alhuwaimel (10/5): -
- Martin (1/5): - Nothing Overwhelming smell of fish, I couldn't stay there and they won't give me a refund

- lyndsey (1/5): Bad back and stinks - The place stank of raw sewage, the cleaner was obviously nose blind as he couldn’t smell a thing. We filled the kitchen sink with water and blocked the bathroom sink plug hole and the smell went. Obviously not an S trap in site.
Then after our evening out we came home to a tv that didn’t work.
The shower even at its hottest was tepid at best and the bed was soooo soft it put my back out.
If you are a lie on your back sleeper, you will be fine, any other positions book in a physio for the next day.

- Jaxandmogs (8/5): Great value for overnight in the heart of London - Round the corner from Park Lane, this was a great find in an otherwise expensive area of London. Bedroom area was spacious with a small kitchen section for self catering. Bathroom was also spacious with a good shower. Narrow stairs to access, but otherwise nothing to complain about :)
- Wooz (7/5): Great location and price, a little tired - Great location and clean Tired with peeling wallpaper. Pleasant but could do with some TLC
- Simon (7/5): -
- Thanveer (10/5): -
- franco (7/5): - posizione, comodità mezzi, pulizia nulla
- Lydia (5/5): -
- Mazurek (8/5): Polecam - Super lokalizacja, apartament wygodny i czysty, świetny personel.
- Mark (6/5): - Location great Was told it had aircon but a plug in unit with pipe hanging out the window isn't aircon in my book, mattress was dirty with no proctor on it.
- M (8/5): -
- Olivia (7/5): -
- Lee (7/5): Perfect for hyde park - The host was great, welcoming and had good communication, and the room was perfectly located for Hyde park Shame there wasn't any tea or coffee for making a morning drink, this would have made the trip perfect
- Satye (9/5): Lovely! - The bathroom was nice and big Nothing as such
- Gabrielle (8/5): Very pleasant - Location to Oxford street and Marble Arch. It was very quiet and a unique Property being in the mews The bed was not very comfortable particularly on one side. Basic kitchen utensils and supplies - no tea/coffee
- Juline (7/5): Good - Everything is ok , the only point who is actually not is the address . Its written 21 on booking's info and the 21 doesn't exist it is at number 5. It would be great to change this to have the right information.
Everything else was good . I would recommand the flat.
- Seege (7/5): Good -
- Jabedul (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good - Such a good location, just around the corner from train station for easy exploring. Fridge and microwave in room was nice to have and bed was very comfortable Smell coming from drains in bathroom but guessing that’s typical for being in the middle of a big city, keeping the bathroom door closed helped
- Vittoria (10/5): Nice stay. Great area for shopping. - Bathroom was huge, nice and modern. Fully stocked kitchen, with fridge, bed was so fluffy and cozy. The place is very quiet after hours, almost feels like no one else is in the hotel. Pretty much just felt like you were at home..and also, people talking about the ally being some scary place? Super silly. That area is omega fancy..or as they would call it, posh. So ya, the place is great..def would book again. Also I’m a girl and was there alone, and felt safe. I didn’t like the bad reviews. They were terrifying me, and I almost did not book this place.
- Marius (10/5): Superb stuff really helpful - The rooms were really big modern and clean , one of the best hotels I stayed
- Miranda (10/5): Great place to stay - Location and cost were great. Comfortable room with everything we needed. The host was great, patient with me arriving late. Very happy and would book again. Nothing, all good.
- Nicola (1/5): Bad -
- Abrar (5/5): Passable -
- Jack (10/5): Really comfortable - The room was very spacious The view overlooked into a car park
- Lin (7/5): Good - the location was great!and the staffs are nice. It is very quiet and I slept well every night when I stayed. The thing disappointed me a lot was the photo on the booking website is out of date. I booked this room as I can see there’s an eating table for 2 in the room. However, when I arrive there’s only a desk for one instead of a table for two. So me and my friend are struggling to find a place to set/eat/work together. I did talk to the staff and they said the photo was just out of date.
- Alex (10/5): Good location and lovely staff - The location was spot on, few roads off Oxford street so was not busy but close enough to commute on the tube to other areas, the house keeper was very lovely and the shower was probably one of the better ones I have had!
- Matthew (5/5): Passable -
- Tarkeswarsingh (1/5): Booking.com does not reflect a good image in advertising this sort of property.T - The place was dirty,
The toilet was stinking.
No ventilation.
The towels were old.
The bedsheet was stained
The carpet was dusty.
The curtain was torn.
As soon as you enter the property the smell is irritating.
Nothing is good about this property
- Alexa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stevie (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (8/5): Very convenient to Hyde Park, bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet location. - The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Air conditioning unit in room worked well but noisy No kettle in room, had to ask and was given one. It’s a bit hard to find initially but representative met us.
- Mike (9/5): Great as usual - Location is fantastic for Hyde Park and Central London Nothing
- Carmen (1/5): Bad -
- James (7/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Location was great close to area we had booked to attend attractions etc The weather
- Sara (8/5): Very good - The host welcomed us quickly, even though we had booked literally at the last minute due to an emergency. The room is very nice and comfortable, although face towels were missing, but I think he would have been kind enough to provide them if we had asked for them. We recommend placing the TV antenna on the table to get the TV signal. The location is very good. Our experience was positive and we would return.
- Satu (3/5): I’ve seen better places. - The apartment’s location was good. Host was nice. There were mice in the apartment. The apartment was not as clean as the pictures suggested.
The addres was wrong.
- Maria (9/5): Superb -
- Saleh (1/5): Bad -
- Hugh (1/5): Bad -
- Mark (7/5): Good in parts - We had two rooms on consecutive nights. The first was brilliant, but the second wasn't.
- Belen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melia (1/5): Disgusting! Do not book! - Nothing! This is a scam. Waste of money, time and energy. DO NOT BOOK! Every positive review is fake! Horrible experience! The room is located in a dodgy alley which was covered in trash and piss. The room itself was extremely dirty. We didn't even feel comfortable taking our shoes off! There was blood on the toilet and hair on the bedsheets and bathroom, which were never cleaned from the previous occupier. When we inquired about the toilet having blood, I was told that “maybe the cleaner cut herself”. There was a terrible odour, like sewage, which they tried to mask with some disgusting spray or something.
We left after a few hours and had to book another accommodation!
The service is also horrendous! I have been in contact with the manager every day for over a month for a partial refund, but I never got it!
- Ana (1/5): Bad - On the day of arrival, just before taking the flight, they call me and tell me that they will change my accommodation to another one, because the first one does not have room for the three of us. I asked them to send me photos and they told me they didn't have any, I asked them to send me the link to booking and they told me it wasn't on the platform. At that moment we were forced to accept the change with the promise from the interlocutor that the new apartment was much superior to the one I had reserved. This new apartment was located at 109 Lisson Grove London NW1. When we arrived at the apartment, we found that they forced us to pay for the entire stay without giving us an invoice for the amount we paid. At first glance we found that the apartment
did not meet habitable conditions but it was night and we were traveling with a small child, so we had no choice but to accept the situation. When the interlocutor left, we began to inspect the room and found the following deficiencies:
• The heating didn't work.
• There were only two chairs in the kitchen, so we couldn't have breakfast, lunch or dinner.
• There were no cooking utensils.
• There was not enough bedding and what was there was torn.
• There were no tools to clean, we spent the entire stay without being able to sweep the floor, for example. We immediately wrote to the person who opened the apartment for us and he never responded to our messages again. We called another number and they sent us to call another person who came with a small stove and told us how to use the heating. However, the heating never worked. As a result of the poor conditions my son and I became sick.
- Asmau (9/5): I had a great time . - Excellency location, clean apartment and the staff(Mohammed) was super helpful.
I will surely come back for another stay.
- Tierney (2/5): Dreadful will not be staying here again. CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING - The location was good.
Good shower. I arrived at this property thinking it was a sister hotel to the Marble Arch as that is what it sounds like through advertisement. On arrival I realised it had been very falsely advertised as it was just a room in a shared house down a back alley. When you arrive you sign a piece of A4 paper and the guy just takes a picture of your ID on his personal mobile. All of the keys are left on a desk which anyone that goes into the house can get access too. There is a key coded door to let you in to the property but this was left open the majority of the time. There is a pub right next to the apartment so you are kept up until early hours of the morning. We did not feel safe at all whilst staying here as you can hear everything going on outside and even the people in the rooms around you moving it is not sound proof at all. Bathroom constantly smelt of sewage and there was no cutlery in the apartment. The lamps didn’t even have lightbulbs in and there was a glass cabinet next to the bed which was smashed. The window in the room was an old fashioned slide up window which did not lock.
- Sultan (8/5): Very good -
- Giovine (1/5): Bad -
- Awani (9/5): Superb -
- Katisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arq (1/5): Bad -
- Lorraine (1/5): Scary - The host turned up late to let us in and was rude. He didn't even attempt to help us with a buggy up the stairs.
The entrance was messy and dirty with a 'desk' covered in random bits.
Booking in felt very unprofessional. I was told to write my name and date of birth down on crumpled piece of plain white paper so they could take a picture of it with my ID.
Half the items were missing from our room.
It felt unsafe.
- Chanya (1/5): Very bad experince - The location is very spooky and scarely. You need too go to the ally to find another narrow ally to find tge property. In fact the google map cannot find it! In front of the ally, it is a pub which is noisy. The lication is far from everything even the tube station.
- Mike (8/5): Very good - Location
- Rexhmati (5/5): Passable - Good condition Address is wrong, hard to find
- Joe (8/5): Very good -
- Sanjakdar (2/5): Very poor - The gentleman that greeted us- Mr Mohammad- was wonderful, kind and caring. However, we were not able to speak to the landlord and when I tried to call him, he would never pick up. The apartment was OK but we did not get clean towels on a daily basis and apparently had to ask for these although that was not make clear in the ad.
I will never stay here again
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Chan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tobore (1/5): No accountability - They made a mistake with the pricing of their nonrefundable booking. Told me 30mins before I was due to arrive that it was a mistake and that “as a good will gesture” I can stay in the property for 10x the amount I paid and I mocked I wasn't going to find anything else in the area for the amount of their “goodwill”. Still got charged for their mistake.
- Gary (1/5): Not what appeared on the web - Nothing I would not stay in this property
- Jake (8/5): Very good -
- Molham (1/5): Bad experience - Tried to send messages via Booking they did not reply It was too hot, the AC was not working
- Mike (8/5): Brilliant location -will use it again - It was self catering
Brilliant location for central London Mattress a bit tired
No saucepans for cooker
- Lesley (9/5): Handy, clean and comfortable.Great location. - Great location, Spacious and clean. Wifi code given didn't work.
Need to look at crockery and cutlery. Only 1 x wine glass, mug and cup but a double bed so need everything for 2 x people.
Driving licence or passport needed to gain entry but nothing on booking to say this.
- Helen (8/5): Exactly what we needed - The location was good
- Shorey (7/5): pleasant and would stay again but knowing we could have a fan! other than that the owners were brilliant and offered us - old school property lovely location on a lovely street! the owners made us feel welcome and the fridge was a good send x just a hot weekend and no air con or fans! bit muggy weather at the end of long day was quite sweaty! blind was broken so couldn’t open it
- Taharka (3/5): Poor -
- Rachna (8/5): Very good -
- Katie (1/5): Bad -
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Booking.com has got totally the wrong address for this property. Fortunately I was able to call the property and they gave me extra instructions.
- Ainis (7/5): Good -
- Glen (4/5): when you pay London prices you expect a decent standard. unfortunately it didnt deliver - Good location and room facilities were modern the check in process consisted of me scribbling my name and date on a piece of paper. i was then asked for id so I provided my drivers license which he took a photo of on his mobile phone. not sure this is exactly GDPR compliant. The room was let down by curtains that you couldnt close (meaning the street light shone through all night). There was a glass bedside table that was smashed and the bedding left a lot to be desired (pink flowery sheets didnt really go with the plain white quilt cover and pillows let alone the room decoration.
- Jhoy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jhoy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherif (10/5): Exceptional - It was awesome and very clean!
- Qaisam (9/5): Superb -
- Lea (1/5): Terrible experience! - I liked pictures of the family Deluxe King Studio on Booking.com. Unfortunately, the room we stayed in was far from that. 'Family room' with no windows in the basement, no duvet or pillow for sofa bed, no toilet rolls or hair dryer, no TV signal, no WIFI code, not cleaned prior to arrival or housekeeping during the stay.
- Phillips (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing -
