• Pat (9/5): Excellent - Very comfortable room. Every need thought of. Someone mistakenly took our room ( key left in door). However the owner came very quickly and fixed it for us.

• Rossanna (9/5): - The room was nice, clean, and big with beautiful view. More of a comment not dislike. There's no elevator, my luggage was heavy and my back was sore from driving for 5 hours.
• Deborah (10/5): Excellent stay, value for money, easy instructions on access and the story of Portland was interesting. - The location is superb, they have thought about every detail in the executive suite. From having a pod machine to a non slip bath mat, ample space, everything is just set out so well. The staff were very responsive to queries. I enjoyed the toiletries too. The fact that I could only stay one night, I would’ve loved to have stayed longer to enjoy more 🙂

Please note: The owner has been very responsive to my comments below and has undertaken to remedy some of the problems we encountered. Very noisy - not just traffic but the washing machine or dryer beeped on and off for hours. Shower cubicle too low for tall people - he hit his head twice. No chair for the desk - stools provided too high to fit legs under the desk.

• Sharon (10/5): Wonderful room very clean and comfortable. - Lovely modern, very clean, everything supplied for a comfortable stay, quality linen, coffee, tea including lose leaf and tea pot, plunger coffee and pod coffee also instant, milk, everything was perfect. Comfortable bed and couch, good size room also, we stayed in room 1. The stairs are steep for me that was hard, bad knees 😉,and In room 1 the room below had smokers, that came outside every two hours, so will stay in different room next time, woke us up all night. Great room otherwise.

• Barbara (9/5): Comfy stay at waterfront property! - The property has an awesome location right across from the ocean. We stayed in apartment #2 which had a sweet balcony. The studio apartment is well equipped, the bathroom rather large. We really enjoyed our stay. Liked it all.

• Vincent (8/5): A great place to stay in Portland. - Seascape is comfortable and quiet and in a great location. This was our third stay and we would stay there again. The shower was a bit small and cramped.
• Hecker (9/5): - Great location overlooking the bay. The place is modern and the well kept gardens and fish pond added to the charm. We had an upstairs room with an outdoor verandah which was a suprise to us. The view was beautiful looking out over Dutton Bluff to the bay. We could see the same view from inside aswell. The place was very clean and cozy. The spa was awesome. The smart TV played most of the streaming channels. Kitchen had all you needed for a home away from home including a dishwasher. Loved our few night here. Would recommend to everyone. The mattress felt like the support was gone. The toilet roll kept falling off the holder, an easy fix though. And the flush button was loose.

• Brooke Alyssa (10/5): Comfy, clean, beautiful and easy! - Check-in/check-out was super easy, had a view of the ocean right outside my window. Not even a 5 minute drive to town. Super clean, comfy and had plenty of towels/face washers and helpful products available to use.

Access to local areas and information provided in the room of local attractions. Nothing about the room or the operators was out of place or not catered for, the neighbours dog was a little annoying at times but that’s nothing that the operators could do about that so it’s just one of those things.

• Eichler (5/5): - The fridge ran continuously during the night. Froze all items. Had to switch it off to sleep. This prompted the thought that if the fridge caught fire (likely) it is placed just inside the apartment door thereby blocking the only exit, which is compounded by the lack of a fire extinguisher to aid escape. Noticed that there was no fire appliances in any of the hallways leading to the only exit to the building.
