• SilviaLondra (10/5): Good spot, close to the beach, comfortable, recommended - The staff was very kind and attentive. The apartment was bigger than I expected and very nice, clean and overall comfortable. Beds were comfortable and so was the kitchen. I liked the small balcony and the view. Communication was perfect from the start and I really appreciated the service they provided through a third party taxi company. It made our journey from Larnaca airport easier and stress free as our flight got changed and we landed at 1am. I liked the swimming pool even though we didn't have the chance to spend time there. Also the food provided was nice and at a reasonable price. The first day we even got a discount! Very kind of them. I didn't like that there was no hot water in the shower. They didn't have maintenance available on Saturday and Sunday and sent the maintenance engineer on Monday morning but when we were checking out. So we had energising cold showers during the entire stay 😆 oh also it would be handy to have sockets by the bed to charge the phone overnight.

• Vivien (7/5): Not bad, but definitely not what I have experienced on the last three occasions I have stayed - The location of the Seagulls Hotel is great. The cleanliness around the pool, garden, room and hotel was very good. The pool, however, was not so clean. There was a dirty, greasy ring all around the pool, especially under the bridge across the pool. I reported this to reception after I was asked if everything was alright. I don't generally complain, but when asked, I politely give an honest answer. This was my fourth visit and, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. There was only one reception staff member, a lovely, slightly older lady, who was able to speak English well enough to understand me. The other two men and the younger lady were abrupt, rude and made me feel like they couldn't be bothered to listen to me. They grumbled in their own language as I was walking away on the rare occasions I went to reception. My friends and I, two other couples, are now very reluctant to return to The Seagull, unless things are shown to improve.

• victor (7/5): There was a very noisy karaoke place near to our apartment and the kept going until 01.30!! - Nice big balcony. 2 minutes to beach, supermarket and restaurants. Lack of kitchen utensils particularly no plugs for whole apartment. We had to use an egg cup to block kitchen plug hole so we could wash up!!

• Sarah (6/5): - Booked last minute - best pool in the area but sun beds were limited. Some were damaged, not fit for purpose. Some umbrellas were broken. Pool bar was open if you could catch him.... Nice on arrival that you are taken to your room but dont expect anything else. Had ground floor room which was clean. Beds were made but no sign of mopping until day before Wall next to sink had not been cleaned before i stayed & was not done in time i was there. No plugs in sink or bath. Original bath had been painted over making it slippy. Did not pay for buffet breakfast. Food not available after 7 but as barman went before 5 you would be lucky! managers door was open & he would say good evening if he saw you but most of rest of staff did not / could not make conversation. Ground floor reception/ dinning areas were updated but none of the rooms. Green down outside walls where air con units were draining to. Glass panel missing in a fire door on 1st floor. Just generally feels unloved & has no atmosphere. Seriously in need of a major update for the rooms. Appliances supplied for self cater but limited sockets to use them.

• MARIA (1/5): Will never book here again! - As soon as we got there, they told us that our room had a technical problem and they would move us to another accommodation. This was further away from the Sea and was a single room where the four of us had to crumb into, rather than the one bedroom flat, we had booked at Seagull. It was called Papouis Hotel, there was loud music playing until 11 o’clock at night, on both nights, which disrupted our sleep and when we complained about it, they didn’t seem to care. When we proposed that they at least change our room, so then we don’t hear the music so loudly, they said it was fully booked Instead of making an effort to lower the music. Breakfast was lousy and hotel of dubious cleanliness.
• paul (4/5): - Good pool area. not enough sunbeds. Bar shut before 5.00pm. No incentive to stay in accommodation in evening. Limited snack food menu. No friendly atmosphere, no feeling of being welcome. Rooms tired, need refurbishing . No bath or sink plugs, told they are not supplied. Bath slippery, no grab rails. Disappointed with stay, after several stays since 1997.
• Robert (5/5): Hotellet var ett av de billigaste i området men mycket kunde med små medel vara bättre. - Rummet var rent och städades väl under veckan. Poolområdet helt ok även om det fanns en del utslitna solstolar. Hotellet känns åldrat. Reception och matsal var fint men rummen gamla och det skulle vara mycket enkelt att öka bekvämligheten genom enbart lite fler hyllor, krokar mm att förvara kläder och hänga badkläder på tork samt att det åtminstone finns lika många stolar som sängplatser. Vi hade en jättestor fin terrass med havsutsikt men den var helt tom på möbler och utnyttjades inte alls.

• Kaimakami (7/5): - Μας άρεσε η τοποθεσία και πισίνα Ένας απο το προσωπικό που ήταν στο bar της πισίνας και δεν ήξερε να κάνει cocktail και καφές δεν υπήρχε αλλά ήταν και αγενεστατος και συνέχεια με ένα ύφος που δούλευε με το ζόρι. Τα έπιπλα ήταν παλιά και τα μαξιλάρια επίσης.

• Anett (10/5): Alig vàrjuk, hogy visszatérjünk - Nagyon sok gyönyörű strand van a közelben. Szemben van egy Market, ahol mindent lehet kapni, semmi nincs túlárazva. Mi aprtmanban voltunk, ellátás nélkül. Sajnos a konyhában egy villanyrezsó volt, egy elég gyenge sütő résszel. Mikró nem volt. Serpenyő nem volt, csak 2 fazék. Az evőeszközök is hiányosak voltak. Vèleményem szerint a konyha összességében nagyon hiányosan volt felszerelve. Számomra 2 gyerekkel ez fontos lett volna. Ettől eltekintve ár- érték arányban szerintem kitűnő. A medence fantasztikus, a személyzet kedves volt.

• Evgenios (7/5): - Spacey room, nice swimming pool for the kids, good location and walking distance to the beach. Old and a little shabby. Our room was at the back and the corridor was packed with stacked chairs and even a broken fridge. WiFi in our room was non-existent. Life guard was sometimes there and sometimes not and when he was there, he was sitting away from the pool on his phone and paid no attention to the pool.

• Vitalij (10/5): Great Value for Money, Nice Pool, and Beach Nearby - The hotel is set in a beautifully landscaped area with a very good swimming pool – perfect for relaxing. There’s a good beach located nearby. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. For the amount we paid, it was definitely worth it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay with a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a place with a lot of potential, though there are still some things that need improvement to reach a higher standard.

• Panikos (1/5): My stay was disappointing and stressful due to poor service, lack of cleanliness, and serious issues - the size of the room 1. No luggage trolley available upon arrival: When we arrived at the hotel, I asked for a trolley to carry our luggage, but was told none were available. 2. Dirty air conditioning units: Upon entering our room, I checked the air conditioning units, which were functional but extremely dirty inside, showing visible signs of mold. I immediately reported this to the reception, but no action was taken during our stay. 3. Beeping alarm sensor: At night, a loud beeping sound occurred every 30 seconds, apparently from the room's alarm sensor. We attempted to call reception using the room phone, but it didn't work, and there were no instructions on how to contact reception. I eventually called from my mobile, but the staff member who answered struggled to communicate in English. No one came to assist us that night; the issue was only resolved the following day. 4. Inability to get extra sheets: That night we were cold and asked a cleaner for extra sets of sheets, but she did not understand English and did not provide them. Later in the day, we asked reception for extra bedding and were told they couldn’t provide any because the cleaner had finished her shift and the storage was locked. When I explained that we had been cold, the only solution offered was to use an extra blanket from the closet. 5. Room left open by housekeeping: The following day, we all went downstairs to go to the beach. I returned shortly after to retrieve something I had forgotten, only to find our room door left wide open, propped against the wall. The cleaning cart was outside, but the cleaner was nowhere to be seen.

The beds were fine and overall it was a nice stay if you ignore the negative things The staff cleaning the rooms could use a new trolley or the hotel can get a carpet or something for the hallways. Every day the cleaning of the rooms started around 8am and it created a huge noise in the mornings that will wake you up without a miss. The interior is a bit too old for the price charged and they could've put a coffee or tea in the rooms as well as a sponge and dishwashing liquid to wash the dishes

• Lazarou (8/5): Hospitality at Seagull apartments - Great hospitality from Manager and bar manager. Excellent pool area to spend time if you want to relax. Great location with restaurants and shops. It is very 80's and does need updating. However once you get over this and push it aside, it was a good stay.

• Václav (7/5): The stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, with a spacious garden, only 4 minutes walk to the beach - Location of the apartments and the pool- was big but very calm and well laid out. Also nice and big garden Rooms felt a little outdated, Cleaning service including change of Linen doesn't work well. In the cleaning policy of the room it was written that the linen was changed every 3 days, but we were only changed on the 5th day. The price for the apartment was quite high considering the amenities of the room and the state of use. WIFI in the room did not work at all.

• Christos (10/5): Great experience would definitely go back . - I originally booked to stay at Seagul apartments because of it's cheap price and spacious swimming pool. I was contacted via telephone a few days later from the hotel to inform me that due to seagul apartments being currently renovated and not opened yet, i would be upgraded to a sister hotel named Papantonia Hotel, with Breakfast ( i hadn't booked with breakfast ) . This was a very pleasant upgrade and it is very professional coming from them. Papantonia Hotel was amazing as it was also newly renovated, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was so welcoming , from the reception, to management, to the bar staff . Special thanks to Andreas at the bar he is an amazing guy . I would definitely recommend staying at Papantonia hotel.

• John (8/5): Quite a nice place, would be happy to go again. - I didn’t stay in the Seagull, I was moved to their sister hotel. Loads of sun beds and nice pool. It said they had a gym, they didn’t. The food was a bit ‘meh’.
