- Kristrún Ýr (10/5): Perfect place for a longer stay, quiet neighbourhood and peaceful - The apartment is very clean, comfortable bed and well equipped and everything is working. The owners are very nice and helpful. It was no problem to check in and there was private parking available. There is a nice beach a few meters from the house and good restaurants. Nothing is really far away and easy to get around. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely book it again if/when I am back in Albania. I

The apartments are literally a one-minute walk from the beach, remarkably quiet, and offer a direct ocean view. - Pree (7/5): Hit and Miss.. needs improvements - Location was great, close to nearby shops and amenities. Quite neighbourhood. Checkin process was simple and getting access to the property was easy. Entrance is on the main road. We had 2 flats, both clean, ample space, lovely decor on living room only and kitchen equipped with necessary utensils beforehand. As we booked on an off season, the cost was significantly lower (with some caveats mentioned below). The beautiful view that's shown isn't available for all flats. We were very disappointed with it. One of the lower flats had almost no views and no other apartments with same view was available. During checkin we were told that the lift isn't working. 1 of the 2 flats we booked was on 4th floor and not having lift wasn't a great experience with heavy luggages. Water pressure on the taps were ridiculously low due to plumbing issues. Showers also had no pressure at all. One of the flats had literally no furniture in the right places (e.g., bedside cupboards) but had many furnitures in random places which makes no sense. Almost as if, there was no thought process went into positioning them. Plug points are scarce and again not where it should be. Instead of bedside cupboards, we had those IKEA floating shelves. Little things that made everything a little annoying. Bathrooms are dated and no place to keep things around the basin. We had to keep them on top of the washing machine.
- Dritan (10/5): - Excellent stay. The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Location was convenient and made it easy to get around. The host was professional, responsive, and helpful without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward. Overall, very good value for the price. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Forgot your beach towel or swimming shoes-now worries-a shop downstairs. And the owners were very lovely and helpfull. We will be back!

- Majadu (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment is clean, big and comfy. You have everything you need. For me the most important thing was coffee machine and big balcony 😅. For things you get, and you get the whole flat, is very cheap. The beach is 2 minutes away and the sea is clean.

Getting a washing machine was really good. Communication with host was good, fast answers at any time. We rented a sea view apartment but we can see building on the front and little bit of sea. Technically it’s sea view but it’s not the view that we expected. In the bathroom wasn’t any shelve where you can put your stuff or pegs for towels. Washing machine needs replacing, it’s so rough. Mattress uncomfortable, don’t know why but mattress has another mattress on top but smaller size so your head goes down and you are risking rolling down off the bed

- Scott (9/5): Superb - Staff were very helpful before and during the stay. Right next to the beach and beach clubs with plenty of places to eat nearby. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. For a place that has a fully set up kitchen it lacked the basics like oil, salt, pepper and things along those lines. Location was great for next to the beach but was a bit further from the main Foreshore where it's all happening. Where the apartments are located made it super awkward to get to with a car due to the one way system along the beach front but it is what it is. 5 euro a day for private parking which we thought was steep but got stung having to park the car far away a couple times
- Julia (9/5): Wonderful apartment, loved Saranda. - The apt was so pleasant, modern and comfortable (note: I was in apt 8, I don't know about the other units). I had sea views from both the bedroom and the living room. Plus a balcony, good hot water, a washing machine, large comfy bed. The neighborhood is great, Some good restaurants, groceries close by. The building is right above a beach, and a few minutes walk to a SUP and kayak store/put in spot. It was super quiet, however, it was off season, so I can't vouch for July and August, but I think that will apply everywhere in Saranda. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the main part of town (the boardwalk), got my exercise. Would be nice to new able to pay online before arrival, cash only. But in Albania you must get used to that. Otherwise, nothing bad.

- Yamila (9/5): Super!! - (Apartment with sea view) The comfort of the apartment is amazing! Big, bright and with good ventilation. The kitchen very well equipped. It is located in front of the beach (not the best), a 20-minute walk from the center and the bus stops. There are supermarkets and places to eat in the surrounding area. Very good attention! As it is an apartment, they could have details such as leaving essential things available such as salt, oil and sugar for cooking, and also a broom or small vacuum cleaner to keep the floors clean.

- Martina (9/5): Superb - Apartment, we stayed in, was situated in the block of apartments, on the ground floor. It was really spacious, consisting of big living room with kitchenette, bedroom and balcony and was very well equipped (there was even a washing machine). Lion d' Or Beach was the closest beach, just right down the road from Hard Rock Apartments, max 5 minutes walk. The set of 2 sunbeds and umbrella cost 10 eur/100 Albanian leks (beginning of September), there was also a small beach bar providing drinks, snack and pizza. Hard Rock Apartments has secure parking in the backyard of the restaurant nearby. In the neighborhood there was plenty of restaurants, bars, fast foods, the grocery was appr. 10 minutes away, to Sarande harbour it takes appr. 20 - 25 minutes by walk. Viola, our host, was very helpful, nice, reachable on Whatsapp throughout our whole stay, she provided us with information about the main attractions in Sarande and area around as well as recommended some other beaches outside Sarande. It was little bit hard to find. Although we were given the location coordinates, we ended up on the side road to the beach, near garages. It would be good if there is a sign directing the quests to the parking place. Maybe better to navigate yourselves to Skanderbeg Grill Restaurant (that's the restaurant where the parking for guests of Hard Rock Apartments is arranged).

- Juli-jane (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was beautiful, clean and with a stunning wiev. Decent size balcony. The place has a semi functional kitchen and a washing machine for clothes. Loved this place. There was construction around the building, which created some noise. I had to climb over construction tape to get into the building. This led to a lot of sand and dirt on the shoes which then ended inside the apartment.
- Volha (9/5): I liked my stay and greatly it was due to the nice apartment. At it was great value for money! - Very nice view from the apartment. In October this area is very quite but there are still few places open. Very fast access to the beach. Walkable distance to the centre. Very comfortable bed and generally very clean. Great big balcony overlooking the sea. Nothing to do with the property but some construction works happening in the neighbourhood (October 2023) was a bit disturbing. Also wifi wouldn’t be suitable for remote work as it was just enough for vacation usage.

- Tammy (7/5): Disappointed - Okay location. Approximately 15 minute walk to promenade and ferry terminal. There are a couple of good grocery stores and decent restaurants within five minutes of the apartment. Our onsite host seemed nice. She brought us laundry detergent upon request. Listing photos are deceiving. The photos of the luxurious apartment building was not where our apartment was located. That luxurious apartment building is across the street from Hard Rock Apartments. Our apartment (one with purple couch) was on the first floor and overlooked the parking lot. There’s a sea view, but it’s in the distance. One of the steel, roller shutters in the living room was broken and couldn’t be opened. This kept the living room and kitchen area rather dark during the day. The remote control for the tv didn’t work. We could hear the neighbor’s television through the wall. The kitchen lacked supplies - no cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, paper towels/napkins. No colander, no toaster. Some of the pots and pans were warped and a challenge to cook with. Shower is just a tiny shower pan with shower curtain. You can’t use maximum water pressure or you’ll get water all over the bathroom floor.

- Angelo (3/5): Appartment for people which are only looking for a place to sleep - Spacious Appartment wirh balcony. Situated near several beaches & restaurants. 20-25 on foot to city center. Parking available. Restaurant directly downstairs wirh very friendly service staff. (Although I do not recommend eating there) Old furniture and appliances. Bathroom was constatly humid because of insufficuent ventilation possibilites. Washing machine was there, but it is old and does not look to clean. Beds were uncomfortablr and short (190 cm max) As I am 185 tall I could not fit with stretched out feet. Lighting was very cold like in an hospital. The owner was very defensive and I did not like her attitude. Restaurant is part of the appartment complex and owned by the same people. But the food was not good and expensive for albania

It's very spacious. The location is great, it's close to the beach and all the tavernas, supermarket, cafe's and shops. We really enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend this place to anyone.
