Thanh H. (9/5): - Directly next to West Lake. Quite the loud street but you can expect a lot of cafés and restaurants just by foot. Upgraded my room for free and I was helped when asked. Rooms are self serviced. Means the rooms will be checked and cleaned but you're mostly on your own. It is like a vacation apartment but in a homestay hotel. Don't expect Hotel Europe Standards. You have a really good price to value ratio.

Craig (6/5): Needs updating and a deep clean - Excellent location in a lovely spot by the lake. Great view from the balcony. Able to leave luggage although not in a secured spot. Good sized room with adequate facilities. Overall rundown and grubby. Pictures do not reflect current state of the property. All Furniture was worn out and stained. Drawers and cupboards were dirty. Toilet leaked water all over the bathroom when shower was used. Neighbour had a stereo on full blast from 07.00 in the morning which woke us and kept us awake.

jason (4/5): Beware....there are much better options in Hanoi - Lake View, if its important to you....but not great Location is too far from the action of Old Town. The street is very noisy outside. The apartment was not clean, it was updated at some point years ago, but it hasn't been kept up. I had to kill roaches, and had biting bugs while in bed, in which I asked for another room. They only handed me a can of bug killer. I really don't like giving bad reviews....but please be aware, cost is not everything.

Tony (5/5): - Great location, right next to the lake The bed sheets were stained, when I asked for replacements they just brought different, still stained sheets which I refused and was told there were no more! I ended up getting given a mattress topper for a bed sheet, which was not fitted and was uncomfortable to sleep on as kept sliding around while I was sleeping! Also it's a very busy area, right next to a road with beeping motorbikes constantly going past until past midnight! There is also construction work nearby that will wake you up early in the morning!

Huỳnh (7/5): Tạm hài lòng - Vị trí đẹp, nhân viên thân thiện. Phòng có tủ và gương to rất tiện dụng. Phòng nghỉ có nhiều chỗ bẩn, ban công không được dọn dẹp và vệ sinh. Vật dụng sử dụng trong phòng hơi cũ (ấm đun, máy sấy, bàn là …). Nhân viên dọn phòng qua loa, không vệ sinh sàn nhà. Phòng hết giấy vệ sinh nhưng xin mãi không được. Trong phòng không có hướng dẫn không biết các vật dụng để ở đâu. Phòng giặt chỉ được giặt vào buổi tối và không được sạch sẽ, gọn gàng. Phòng cách âm kém, đêm ngủ quán Café xung quanh rất ồn.

Jounie (5/5): Average place in a decent location. - Just a very average place. The highlights are th location and the customer service. The hotel is right on the lake and next to several cafes. But, its a little far from the main parts of the lake. The receptionist and person who monitors the chat app are nice and responsive. While the place is clean, it is old and just average. There is nothing comfortable about the room: there's just a bed and a small desk. I got the apartment with lake view and balcony, but it was still a bit boring.

One of the room cannot open the door to balcony and another one cannot close or lock to balcony door. Since all balcony are linked, we didn't get the safe feeling.

Very easy to find the building and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Although there is many cafes nearby you might need to walk a bit further for a restaurant. Wifi could sometimes be a little slow.

Smith (6/5): Okay - We like how the apartment when in the lake. We was put in a room to begin with and the shower wasn't on the wall properly. And it wasn't very clean. Our second room was a little better however the shower drain was blocked so every time we had a shower we would have to stop the water after two minutes to let the water slowly drain so that it didn't floor the entire apartment.

Giulia (5/5): Does not look like in the photos (photos taken as soon as we entered the flat) - The area was really nice, with cafes around and a nice promenade by the lake. Not far there's a laundry place and a vegan restaurant we were always going to. The bathroom's ceiling had holes, the paint was dilapidated, the wall just next to where you sleep was filthy, and the bathroom was full of limescale (which looks like no one cleaned for a while). The shower tap was falling apart. It doesn't look as good as it does in the pictures. Also, we asked to book a cab for our departure, but it never showed up, so I had to order a grab instead, which made us rush to the airport.

Eva-marie (3/5): Dirty Motel for a Night - It was dirty, especially the bathroom and the staff couldn’t speak a word in English. The language problem is manageable but let’s just say we couldn’t find anyone for check in and I had to shout hello several times. The walls have different stains, all colours. The street is loud and the rooms have thin walls. You can hear your neighbours sneezing. To be honest for a last minute one night stay it’s okay but it’s not worth the price we paid. We had better rooms for less money.

They checked me in at 3am, which is good service. I had to change rooms after the 1st night because I wasn’t given a real lake view. On the 2nd night, the roads were closed off and there was loud music late night and very early morning. No delivery food allowed and no options for food in the area.

Robertas (5/5): Great view sad hotel. :( - The hotel's location was excellent, with the old town being just a 30-40 minute walk away and reasonably priced taxis available. The room on the fifth floor provided a stunning view of the lake, which was unbeatable. However, while the sheets were clean, the overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. The hotel is quite dated, the room walls were in terrible condition and dirty even beside the bed. The bathroom was coated in a thick limescale build-up and not very clean. Worth staying for a few nights 20€/night.

Thương (6/5): It’s not so nice for a short stay - The location was great, nice view of the lake. Lots of coffee places on the same street. The room was not so clean. I was a bit itchy and not sure if the bedsheets was changed between guests. It seems pretty low maintenance in the room. The AC didn’t work out on my second day, I didn’t see anyone at the reception to ask about these issues.
Chu (3/5): Not worth the rate, will not come back. - The view and staff was somewhat supportive. Facilities of rooms are outdated. Floor has cracks and damage, shower head did not work for first night, had to inform staff to replace it. Even after replacement, I still have to use hand held for stronger water pressure. Lights of living room area fused after 1st night. We have to rely on the bedroom lights for our entire stay. Kitchen area is just for decoration (only fridge works after at least 1 night running, rice cooker and electric kitchen is busted).
