• Cihan (1/5): Terrible experience. - Nothing Room was dirty and old They did not have a second key however room for 4 people. Beds and all the furniture bathroom all very old and damaged. Sauna facility was not operating and that is why we have decided to stay here but when we arrived they said the sauna closed permanently not operating. Only the owner speaks English non of the other staff speaks english. The lounge area was locked during the day we were gonna buy coffee from vending machine but we could not pass to the area. I have requested at least 5 times from Booking.com directly as well as the hotel but never got any reply nor the invoice. Last ten years we have been travelling to the Bansko and this was the worst hotel experience. I also would never expect the Booking.com did not help at all. It is just sad :((

• Stephen (1/5): aspen bansko 👎👎👎 - the location was good there is an English man who works there who is the most ignorant man I have ever met. he litterly shouts at guests. none of the advertised facility's, bar, restaurant pool spa were open, and when we asked we got abuse from the English man and told we were stupid and to see booking.com, a few of the staff were helpful, most just didn't care. the place was deserted, I only saw 2 other guests when we were there, I think some of the rooms had local people living there full time

• Laura (9/5): Superb - The aspen is a perfect location, in the heart on bansko resort. It was everything we needed The only issue (which didn’t affect us but did our friends in the other apartment) there was no facilities to cook, no microwave and no saucepans or kitchen utensils.

• Andrey (6/5): Pleasant - Underground parking is good for lower cars, and it was spacious. The location is really close to the Gondolla and to the main street. 2 bedroom apartment was very big and with 1 bathroom and also another toilet. The only person who I could see and talk to was the security guard, but he was the nicest guy, super friendly. The pool water was warm.. Sauna is also nice. There was a smell of mold in the stairs area. The pool looked dirty, and the whole SPA looked like it was abandoned, just like some other parts in the hotel. Breakfast starts at 8.00, so if you are skiing, keep that in mind (the security guard, though, did talk to someone to prepare our breakfast earlier). Only Sauna was working and that is after 14:00 o'clock. Steam room was not working (maybe you need to request for it to be prepared also). One of the sofas in our apartment was broken, and sitting on it was very uncomfortable. There were no kitchen utensils except a few glasses and a frying pan. But in the end , you get what you pay for. It was very cheap for 3 days stay.

The bed was also amazing I didn’t like that some of the facilities were not available to use. The pool was closed and there was no spa. The breakfast on the last day consisted of dry pasta with feta cheese. Which is not okay. The breakfast on the first two days was alright except that we were given cold eggs.

It doesn’t look like in a pictures, we even didn’t got anything for making coffee in the morning, so we took a pot from restaurant, pool was in dark, with some leaking (they put some bucket for that leaking) even chairs in room are so uncomfortable for setting. We had problem with draining the water in bathtub… Food is ok, you can choose something but after 7 days you got enough of same food.

Pool is not available, massage is not available. Also, breakfast was not included. When we asked for breakfast they told us that they don't have for who to cook, like we are not even guests to their hotel. Another thing, it's not hygienic. The room was not very clean. The shower was clogged. Also for everyone that would want to cook. The kitchen is not equipped.

• Miruna (7/5): Good - The location was great, nice staff, good breakfast hours, nice sauna The room was incredibly dirty, the shower has mucus on the floor, calcar spots and build ups, the bedroom had cobwebs and dust...dust in all the closets. There was only ONE single spot to dry anything, and that was in the bathroom (not enought for two towels even). The radiators were old, couldn't use them to dry anything and are fire hazard - the one in the living room started acting out the 2nd day with an open contact that was flashing electricity - we had to disconnect from electricity as turning it off wasn't enough. Not a 4 star hotel, maybe 2 stars.

There were many issues, broken down furniture, the bathroom door not closing or locking, no clean towels after 5 days stay, no bath robes for the spa, we got some after asking 2 times. The food was ok, but the selection was small. The spa was small, luckily very few people went there so we got it pretty much to ourself.

• Vesa (4/5): Below average - The location was nice and the room was warm. The spa is just to say there is a spa, the water was cold and way more different than in pictures. The sauna was not warm enough. The shower section near sauna was broken. So we didn’t use the spa at all.

• Viktoria (1/5): I do not recommend to stay at thin hotel - the location is pretty close to ski lift and restaurants very dirty in rooms, you always need to remind about cleaning. Sometimes dirty towels from the floor, they hang back to the shelve or even worse, put on top of the clean towel. Even most rooms have a kitchen, there are only 2 cups, 2 glasses and kettle (also not everywhere). That’s it. So either you need to ask every single piece at the reception or buy on your own.

• Talya (7/5): Was ok. - The apartment itself is nice. Clean and very large. Comfortable bed. The water heater is an individual water heater for every apartment. It wasn't good. It would run out of hot water after 1 person would take a 10 min shower. The kitchen wasn't equipped AT ALL. Nothing there that's useful for cooking. For tourists coming to stay at an apartment, that is absolutely disgraceful. We need to be able to cook or else what's the point of staying in an apartment. The pool wasn't heated. Breakfast was less than mediocre. Just overall a very meh experience. But you get what you pay for.

• Denislav (8/5): If you chose that Hotel you won't regret it. 9.5 out of 10. Very satisfied 😊 - All aspects of the hotel and the stay are perfect. There was only 1 single thing. When entered into the apartment at first there was a strage smell. To describe it at best it was the smell you feel when you don't open the windows to let fresh air come into a room. It wasn't something so bad but you could feel it. It smelled like old/vintage furniture smells like. But after opening the windows and the terrace doors to let some fresh air in for a couple minutes, it was all perfect.

• Aleksandra (1/5): The worst experience - The location Rude and unfriendly staff, that were swearing at me, because I asked them why is the apartment dirty and with white dog hair on the sofa. As I was with a dog myself (which I had to pay extra 15BGN for), they told me that this hair is from my dog - just to clarify not only is my dog with black short hair, but we were in the apartment for less than 10 minutes. The apartment was not cleaned at all and covered with dust, spots, dirty sheets and bathroom. Stay there at your own risk.
