• Ananda (8/5): Excellent...except for a frustrating cleaning/comms snafu - Overall: 8/10; Location: 10/10; Amenities: 10/10; Communication: 5/10 We entered Studio ARTURO just around 2 pm. It wasn’t ready after the previous guest, but we thought…NBD, because check-in time was 3PM. Msgd the host through Booking that we’d left our luggage inside, as per instructions, and would be back in a few hours. Returned at 6:30 PM, but it’d still not been cleaned! Followed up multiple times with the host through Booking. Radio silence on the messages. Also called the property number but got a recorded message in German. Left multiple vms. No response. Wrote again asking for a full refund as it was getting late and we wanted to try going to another hotel. Also wrote to Booking Customer Service directly. Finally got a response from the host, offering Studio ANDY next door and an extra night due to the cleaning issue. We took up the offer and asked for 1 night’s refund instead, as our dates were fixed. We got the refund, which took several messages and calls to both the host and Booking to get them to get in touch with each other to confirm the exact refund amount. Were it not for this cleaning/communication snafu (which was *really* stressful and frustrating in the moment) and time lost, we would rate our stay in Studio ANDY 10/10. The host’s offer of recompense was very much appreciated and the apt itself was excellent. And when the host did communicate, they were very polite and helpful. The apt is very close to Interlaken West station and Interlaken Zentralplatz bus stop. There’s also a Coop nearby. No issues with outside light as some other reviewers mentioned – there are metal blinds which open/close using buttons. I'm hoping our experience was an anomaly because we'd gladly stay here again.

• Suzanne (8/5): Great central location in Interlaken - Great location as central to everything in Interlaken ( but up a lane-way behind the post office so needed to close window at night). Small but adequate kitchenette with fridge, cook top and oven (no microwave) so we could prepare our own breakfast. Coffee machine and pods provided - fantastic. Comfortable bed. Close to supermarket and shops and restaurants. 5 Min walk to Interlaken West. No air-conditioner but did have a fan. Would be hard to stay there in summer. Some noise from laneway but great central location made it worth it. A little tip...A small folder explaining how to open the window blinds, where to take the garbage, TV channels, local places to eat, closest supermarket etc would have been useful.
• Jack (10/5): Perfect modern apartment in central location - Great communication and perfect location for local town. Reviews said it was loud street however we did not experience this at all. Bed was super comfy and shower was good. No safe in room. Whilst there is oven and hob which was good and modern there was no saucepan or frying pan to use this. We may have missed this in the property as we don’t use it whilst there.
• Paul (5/5): Avoid this one in Summer. - Close to everything, train station, restaurants and supermarket. Reasonable sized room. Small kitchenette was handy for our longer stay. Comfortable bed. To be fair, the room description states no air conditioning. However, air conditioning is a must in summer here. The povided room fan is not sufficient to cool the room down when it is hot. Lack of sufficient towels for a 5 night stay. We should have been provided with more than 1 towel each for our stay. Very, very poor. Lack of information about the room and how to use the external window shade. You work this out yourself. No information provided about local restaurants in the area or a basic map of the Interlaken area. Quite a noisy area at night, you must open the window to try to cool the room down, then you have to suffer with considerable noise from the street below. Very compact bathroom, small shower. A coffee machine that struggled to work, needs cleaning or replacing. No toaster provided.
• Rani (3/5): Hot room but good location - Good location The bed slept very hot and the room was hot during the night despite having the window and fan going.
• Prendon (9/5): Good apartment in a good location. - The location was great, close to shops, station and restaurants. Decent apartment size with cooking facilities and other amenities. Things that could have been better, maybe a larger bed and a microwave would have been handy.
• Venkataraman (10/5): Perfect! Will stay there again - Proximity to interlaken west station(5 minutes walk) and to all stores made our stay pleasant and memorable. Apartment had a lift that made it easy with luggages and it had all the comforts and amenities. Really an exceptional apartment for the price. Suggest adding some photos or a sample video showing the apartment and mailbox location where the key was would have helped. Also need to add more cutlery to the room. (more spoons and forks).

• Scott (3/5): The host is great, the location is great, it is too hot, too noisy, and way too much light. - Location is excellent and the host, Mario, is GREAT. Location is great but there are many other options at this price point. The picture seems to show 2 beds but there is only ONE BED. see below. The description and the picture shows two beds--there is only one bed! Very very hot. A small fan provided but that is not enough whatsoever. TV does not work. VERY LIGHT ALL NIGHT. Shutters are great but do NOT block all of the street lights and outdoor lights. Bring eye masks FOR SURE. Apartment is on alley behind grocery store and postal mail boxes so VERY LOUD all night. Plus, as the place is VERY HOT, you must have windows open so it is LOUD. Bring ear plugs for sure.
• Aj (1/5): Poor value for money (no functioning wifi (despite requests for action), noisy. - (1) Clean, central location. (2) Early checkout: leave this place asap (1) broken wifi: despite 2 requests (text and in person): no action. We had to go to Interlaken public wifi for proper connection. And broken TV (‘sorry, we know it’s broken)- no action. (2) noisy: facing a parking lot with 24/24h cars driving in and out (3) very limited amenities: you keep on dishwashing (f.i. 2 plates/ 2 glasses/ no basics like pepper/salt). Conclusion: avoid this place. Almost €300/night is definitely not worth is. If I were the owner I would feel ashamed for this un-Swiss level of service.
• Choi (5/5): Passable - 1. Great location (Grocery store is just a minute away; close to the West station) 2. Mario is responsive. 1. No A/C, please consider that the Switzerland is getting hotter in Summer. There's a small fan, but it's loud and needs to be cleaned. 2. Room cleaning service not included (you will get additional towels for free only if you request). I stayed for three nights, but only one bath towel/person was provided at the first.

• Bernadette (10/5): Arturo apartment was central to everything we did and needed. Book for 2 people without hesitation. - The location of this apartment was in the heart of Intertaken and only a 5 minute walk from the Interlaken West railway station. Restaurants, shops, grocery store - all at the doorstep. Very modern apartment and well appointed with everything we needed. Big enough and comfortable for a couple. No air-conditioning, and we were there in a heatwave, so the fan in the room was appreciated. Mario, the host, was there to meet us on time and was very helpful, communicating regularly via What'sApp. Nothing - everything was excellent.

• Haichao (10/5): Enjoyable stay in a great location, great host! - Right in the centre of Interlaken, with a free parking space. The room is modern and clean, fully stocked kitchen. I think the quality is better than the photos shown on booking. Host Mario was there for the check in and introduction, showed us everything which was great, even give us tourist discount cards. Nothing
• Grace (8/5): Great place that is very near to the train station & supermarket! - Mario was really friendly and showed us to the place. I really liked that the toilet is warm, usually it is the coldest place in the house. Really warm blankets, good shower pressure. Cooking utensils were all provided and a sharp knife! Fan was provided if you ever need ventilation however opening the window was good for us. The toilet smelled just a little due to poor ventilation but closing the door is fine. The beds were too soft for our liking but it is a swiss thing as it's the same in other places I've stayed too
