• Megan (4/5): - Location is great. The room did not meet expectations and felt more like a privately owned Airbnb than a hotel. The decor was dated, towels were mismatched, and the shower area was not well cleaned. The shower shelf was impractical and didn’t fit the provided toiletries. Although advertised as sleeping three, the room did not comfortably accommodate three people. The balcony furniture obstructed the balcony door, requiring chairs to be moved just to open it. Overall, the room was disappointing and not of hotel standard.

• TheSimeons (9/5): Relaxing - Loved the unit, very compact but suited us just fine. Everything there that you need plus more. Great having a full size fridge. Beds very comfy. Balcony small but perfectly formed. The early morning sun streams in and enhances the beautiful view. Great area with cafes and bars and the beach over the road Best relaxing time of our road trip 😌 Someone knicked the black facecloth !! A couple of more towels would be good.

• Lidiawhalley (5/5): Townsville Seafront Studio at the Strand. - Nice view, clean. The room was small and crowded for 3 adults. An extra bed was put in the room which made it even smaller. It was noisy at night, we could hear the traffic from 10 floors up. Not worth the price paid for the room. It wasn't a studio at all but a room in a hotel that is privately owned.

• Anne (7/5): Good - Great location, ease of entry,communication with owner, met our needs. Had everything inside unit guest would need. Decor was a little outdated, sliding doors to closet bit difficult to slide, smaller fridge would have given more room in unit. More coathangers inside closet.
• Sandra (7/5): Room with a view - Location was great right in the middle of the Strand with great views over to Magnetic Island. Lots of restaurants around for meals. The small kitchen area was well equipped for making breakfast or lunch but a bit tricky for a main meal. Bed comfortable. Small balcony. It was hard to find the lock box at night when we arrived. Quite a bit of noise from the rooms above. The Aquarius building is definitely one of the ugliest in town! But you can’t see it once your inside!

• Rebecca (10/5): Will book here again!! - Ease of access - excellent system to collect keys. communication was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better location with views to die for (see pic). Every thing you need for a comfortable stay included.
• Russell (7/5): Clean and secure, good quick access with airport. Excellent views across to Magnetic Island. - Free off street car parking. Toilet was clean and worked well but is very outdated, old 9L non-water conservative tank i.e. non-modern dual flush. Similarly shower was lots of pressure but no water flow water restrictor as a typical water conservation feature. Not sure about cost of water as Townsville can get quite dry. Drains do need adequate water flow though.

• Lea (9/5): Great studio apartment in a perfect location. - Great location and a comfortable studio apartment equipped with everything you need. Beautiful views, efficient air con, spacious for a couple and would highly recommend. Host answered our queries promptly and access etc were very clearly explained. Funny little touches such as black face washer for makeup removal! Only a minor complaint but some extra bath towels would be great especially when staying for a week and providing a box of tissues would be appreciated.
