Kimberly (10/5): Great hotel in a great location, but it's the staff that make the hotel shine. - I made several bookings to cover a group of people who were meeting up in London to begin a garden tour with me. Even though we had so many reservations, the hotel staff handled us with ease. People at the front desk remembered my name, and, in some instances, were more on top of my reservations than I was. My guests seem to love the hotel as well. Going on, we all met in the bar (unannounced) for drinks and everyone was so accommodating. Best staff I have encountered at any hotel. I have nothing to complain about.

Das Viertel ist sehr schön, hat schöne Cafés, Straßen etc in der Nähe. Die U-Bahn Station in der Nähe ist sehr praktisch. Das ganze Hotel könnte wirklich 5 Sterne haben Die Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden. Ist wohl normal in London.

Nick (4/5): Teleurstellend en absoluut geen 4 sterren waard. - Locatie was prima en centraal. We hadden een kamer voor 6 personen geboekt waarin was aangegeven dat we verschillende 'kamers' hadden (een soort appartement). De realiteit was dat het geen kamers waren maar verschillende bedden achter een gordijntje. Geen enkele vorm van privacy dus. Daarnaast waren de twee persoonsbedden geen twee persoonsbedden maar een matras van circa 1.30m1 breed. Hier kan je onmogelijk op slapen met twee volwassen personen. Daarnaast waren de slaapplekken achter de gordijntjes onder het trottoir gelegen waardoor je elke naaldhak of rolkoffer op straat hoorde.

David (7/5): A quirky apartment with great facilities in a fabulous location. - The location was fabulous.. The hotel was very stylishly decorated. We were staying in the converted vault. The lack of natural light did detract from the enjoyment of what was a cleverly designed apartment but we were aware of this when we booked. One negative was a damp smell which the dehumidifier and plug in air freshener provided did not quite mask. This would be a fun apartment for a family with kids to stay in.

The room was enough for two and it was nice having a small kitchen for self prepared snack lunches. The bed and pillows were perfect which made the stay very restful. We would have liked more glasses and plates. some simple things like tin opener and a small frying pan would have made a quick breakfast easy. A explanation of the appliances and the cook top would be helpful. We never really figured out the stove top.

For the breakfast, you had to pay per item. I suggest a fixed price to be set and people to be able to order whatever they want with no limits.

Facilities great - loved the swimming pool and bar area. Room clean, comfortable, well euipped and good value for money. Great location! Screens between bed and living area blocked view of television when lying in bed. Sofa small for two people to sit comfortably. No dressing gowns in our room, which would have been useful for using the pool.

The furniture needs renovation, and the bed is very small. The heavy use of black makes the space feel gloomy. The window doesn’t open, and the kitchen is impractical. It shouldn’t really be described as an apartment, but rather a very small room.
