• Dmitrii (9/5): - Very clean and spacious. Has a separate “tatami” place to sit and rest, very atmospheric and beautiful. We stayed as a group of people with a small child, and felt comfortable, the room has all the necessary facilities. The property is a little away from the nearest stations but within walkable distance, in a quiet neighborhood.

• Erika (10/5): Empfehle ich weiter! - Sehr sauber, ruhige Lage - sehr angenehm nach einem Tag im hektischen Tokyo, dennoch Restaurants, Yamato und 7/11 in der Nähe und auch ein Spielplatz, sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Host Alles war gut, aber man muss wissen, dass es eine relativ steile Treppe zu überwinden gilt

• Sara (10/5): Spacious apartment with everything you need - We were at the one on the second floor and it was very spacious, much more than any standard room we have seen in Japan. Being a family of 4, the extra space allowed us to sleep and enjoy the apartment well! Maybe a little far from Ueno, but there are plenty of other stations closer (Shin-Okachimachi, Naka-Okachimachi, Okachimachi).

Great facilities The emergency exit light is very bright so bring eye shades. Unfortunately we didn’t have any and was quite disturbing to sleep.

O bairro é super residencial, mas tem as lojas de kobini próximas As informações de acesso ao apartamento foi comunicado via mensagem do booking e solicitaram muitas informações e isso causou um pouco de desgastes

Il fait froid et les équipements sont insuffisants. Pas de place pour mettre ses affaires. La machine à laver ne sèche pas et pas possible de faire sécher dans la salle de bains.

• RIDZUAN (9/5): Home away from home - Great experience. For those who want to experience modern Japanese home life. Place was well-kept and aptly facilitated. Families would enjoy this. Visitors would love the ambience and calmness in the mornings. Could do with a dryer for the laundry.

• Achala (9/5): Overall a great place to stay with your family. - It's a very clean and spacious apartment by Tokyo standards. Perfectly located near public transport with many routes options. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The exit sign is too bright which will brighten up the room. It is also good to have curtains or something to block sunlight coming into the room especially during summer days where the sun arises very early in the morning.

Somos 5 personas; el sofá cama que se suponía que era una cama para una persona, estaba muy hundido y era imposible dormir allí. El baño de uno de los 2 apartamentos era minúsculo!

Même si le contact avec le personnel ne se fait que par message, ils sont très réactifs et attentifs tout au long du séjour. Pas de sèche linge dans l’appartement du reçu, mais le personnel m’a recommandé un lavomatique à moins de 5 min pour sécher le linge.

Host provided clear instructions with video on how to locate the accomodation and access to the keys. Quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance 15 mins to many restaurants and shops in Ueno centre. It would be better if host allow us to keep our luggage after check out at 10am. We have to drag our luggage to find a coin locker nearby.

• Wei (4/5): Dissapointing. Will never come back - It’s spacy. I don’t understand how it can be considered as hotel. It’s a small building with 2 bedroom. It’s an airbnb apartment. We stay for 5 nights. They never clean the room, never change the bedsheets nor the towels.

• Riccardo (7/5): Cosy essential stay in a great calm area - The apartment is definitely spacious for Japanese standards and has all the essentials. The silence of the neighbourhood is amazing for very relaxing sleeps. It is still close to many attractions and easy to get around. Everything is quite low quality, from the hairdryer to the laundry machine and kitchen are useless. The apartment was very hot the first day which was sunny and incredibly freezing cold the following night when temperature dropped. We did not use the AC system but we there is one and we should have.
• Juvita (9/5): Great stay near Ueno - The room was comfy for our family. It had everything we needed for our 3 day stay in Tokyo. Within 15 min walking distance to Okamachi station where we caught the train, we were also pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of restaurants, shops and market in Ueno, all within walking distance. We made use of the washing machine, drying rack, kitchenette. They were very accommodating with early check-in and extended our checkout time by an hour before we head for our flight. It was overall a very lovely stay. Older style bathroom, but it's still very clean.

Spacious with enough space for our family of 5 and also our suitcases. Shower pressure was good, though bathroom was cold. Toilet seat is heated which helps a lot as the toilet is cold. Host was very responsive and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage there before official check in time. Toilet is cold in winter. The heated toilet seats helped alot. The spring mattresses were a bit too springy for my husband though our kids enjoyed their sleep.

The exit sign was incredibly bright and it was like having a light on in the room all night. We appreciate they have to have the emergency exit sign but it made it hard to sleep. If it could legally be dimmed a little, that would be much better.

A residence hotel in quiet neighborhood. There is a halal ramen restaurant newly opened across the street. 7e and family mart nearby. Amenities complete except no place to dry shirts. No laundry shops nearby.
• Netenipa (10/5): Great place to stay! Very convenient and come with reasonable price! - One of the best hotel we have ever stayed! It is very rare to find accommodation with big room and reasonable price like this place in tokyo. The room is spacious, very clean and fully equipped. Ueno residence hotel matsumoto located at a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, I felt very safe even when i need to go to convenient store at 2 am. You truly feel like home when you stay at this place. The location is great! 2-3 mins from 7-11 and maybe around 5 mins from the nearest station, you can also walk from or to ueno station, might take around 7~10 mins but it very easy to walk! If you arrive at narita airport, you can take train straight to ueno and walk to hotel. It is not like that I don’t like it but i think it would be great if we can deposit the bag at the hotel after checkout but it is understandable since the room is very big so it won’t be enough place outside to put the bag and also since it is staffless, it might be dangerous because they won’t have anyone who able to look after the bag.

The room is considered big in Tokyo and can easily accommodate 4 of us with enough space to open the luggage. They have everything you need from utensils to basic amenities. I like the bath tub! The spring mattress is too springy for us, however they have tatami so you can use that too
