Nick (1/5): VERY LOUD MUSIC ALL NIGHT means I would NEVER book any apartment at Plaza Arkadia again. - The location and apartment were excellent, with good facilities conveniently near. SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. Unfortunately there was a bar below us with VERY LOUD KAREOKE music played throughout the night. Ear plugs and Guinness were no match for this CONTINUOUS NOISE. We stayed here for 4 nights and the music played until 01:15am for two nights, 04:15am on the third night and 04:45am on the last night. The "music" seemed to get even louder later in the night. We cancelled a second stay booked for a week later accepting the loss of the full booking cost.

And we stayed there on a Tuesday. - Although the apartment is spacious and pretty comfortable, It shouldn't be put up for booking, as you are going there to sleep and you can't. Honestly, it felt like we were in the room with the people in the karaoke Room! The accommodation was not like that in the photos. They decorate the house with nice things for the photo session to catch your eye. Also, we did not receive the same accommodation as that in the pictures. Although, from what we've seen, that's the standard for most apartments in Kuala Lumpur, with fake photos and offering different apartments.

Hatta (8/5): - Good location to move to the planned destination. There a red many restaurants and a supermarket As switch for calling lift does not work, I took staircase. It should be rectified and always maintained to prevent from accident. It may cause serious problems to disabled persons.

Magdalene (10/5): We had a lovely stay at this apartment and were sad to leave. ! It was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with everythin - Apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed – the kitchen was well-equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances, which made cooking easy and convenient. The location was also excellent, close to shops and restaurants and though we didn't use public transport, close to local bus stops and train services + super easy to get Grabs to go further afield from Arkadia main entrance. We had no complaints at all.

Tai (7/5): Simple & clean room for short stay. - Location was fantastic. It’s literally just above the shopping street. Very convenient. The toilet door was broken and the lock is not user friendly. Unfriendly TV system with limited programs. No parking provided.

Affordable and worth the value. The apartment is simple, not over doing, providing everything that is needed. Desa Park City itself gives the outdoor feel with its Waterfront, Dog park, convenience in community malls and so much more. Uncle Roger approved!

Richardh9999 (8/5): Great choice if you need to be in this area and can adjust to the noise from the bar below. - For me the apartment was ideal. Perfectly located for my own personal needs as I wanted to be in Desa Parkcity but if you want to have easy access to KLCC then it would not be the location of choice. Desa Parkcity however is a lovely area with great shops, parks, restaurants, bars and entertainment and only 20-30 minutes cheap and easy Grab taxi ride to anywhere you might fancy around KL. The apartment itself is spacious and well presented and equipped with everything you're likely to need and the customer service was excellent. It has good kitchen/cooking facilities, with all the utensils you'd want, although a wok would have been nice - but anyway there are loads of restaurants and bars to choose from just downstairs. The shower and toilet are separate which is nice and the shower is very spacious. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. (only 1 clothes hanger in the wardrobe). All in all a very good choice, although a little expensive compared with other more desirable tourist parts of town. The one BIG complaint though would be the very loud noise from the bar immediately below which went on until around 3am 7 nights a week and was especially unbearable when they were singing karaoke. However, if you wish to be in this specific area, as I did, there's not much alternative accommodation available. So I adjusted my sleeping times to fit with the karaoke ! :-)

Communication with Host/Assistant as to door access is disappointing. - location is perfect. code access is convenient. 1. i had to make many phone calls in order to ask the host HOW to get the access key and code and WHICH block in Arkadia. It was already 1pm on the day i was checking in but I still didnt hear or get any whatsapp messages from the host. I was getting worried. After several attempts , finally got through and the host said his assistant will whatsapp me the details in a groupchat. Again after 30min, i had to call because I still did not get any whatsapp from host or assistant. Finally after another 20 min, I received the whatsapp groupchat with the details. It was very worrisome to get info last minute because i had my family members with me. I suggest in future the host be more efficient and inform his guests a day before. I travel overseas and the airbnb host always provide code access and detail info as to the exact location etc a day before the check in.
