Gave us loads of helpful information about Strahan , places to eat/drink, where to purchase groceries etc and what to do ! Our cottage was perfect! Fully self contained , heaps of room, comfortable beds and a very efficient air conditioner! Location spot on!!! A very short 2 minute walk to the local supermarket and a 3min walk in the beautiful town centre of Strahan! Nothing!

Our apartment was comfortable, exceptionally clean & had all the facilities we required for a very nice stay. It was a quiet location & only a 2-minute drive (or 10 minute walk) to the harbour. We would not hesitate staying there again.

It was extremely clean, spacious, very quiet and the kitchen was fully equipped. We were able to park outside the door and could walk to the shops, restaurants and local attractions. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for suitcases. This apartment had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Nothing!

• Andrea (10/5): The best accommodation we have found in a long time. - I liked everything about this stay. The apartment is big, yet cosy and comfortable. It is so clean and organised and everything has been thought of, that you could ever possibly need. It is tastefully decorated as well. The beds are comfortable and the shower wonderful. There is a guest laundry and a spot to wash your car. The apartment is well located near a supermarket and restaurants and the cruise boat wharves. The owners are welcoming and knowledgeable and keen to help. That I couldn’t stay longer.

This meant we could leave the car and walk to our various activities. The units are very spacious and clean. There is a guest laundry and clothesline on site. The grounds are well cared for. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay, and it was exceptionally clean. The whole property was very neat and well cared for. We didn't need to use the guest laundry or wash our car, but it was pleasing to see that a portion of the very small charge for these facilities was donated to charity. It was evident that Paul and Sharon take great pride in their property. We have already recommended it to friends, and we would definitely stay again. The bed was a little too firm for me, but I still slept well

• Amanda (10/5): Thoroughly recommend the Castaway to anyone heading to Strahan - Great location , friendly approachable hosts and spacious well equipped rooms made our stay here very relaxing and enjoyable. 10 minute walk to the jetty and just around the corner from IGA and the petrol station so its close to everything you need. The rooms were clean and comfortable and everything worked perfectly.

The accommodation also provides a washing machine, dryer, and car washing supplies. We were also very grateful for the hospitality shown by Paul and Sharon. This was our second stay at Castaway and we will definitely stay again when we are next in Strahan. We liked everything.
