  This chalet is located in the hotel and features high-grade furnishings and all facilities of an apartment. It has a large balcony with beautiful mountain views and a fully equipped kitchen. La poca disponibilita’ dello staff nel risolvere il problema del check-in causa ritardo dei treni e perdita delle coincidenze. Arrivati a Garmisch alle 21.15, ma il checkin chiudeva TASSATIVAMENTE alle 19.00

• Jori (10/5): - We spent our Easter at Hilleprandt and really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, with all the necessary facilities. It’s an extremely cosy place, close to centre of the town. A special mention goes to the breakfast served by the hosts, which was absolutely delicious. We felt ourselves very welcome.

• Maria (10/5): - The location is very convenient. It's a three-minute walk to the bus stop, from which you can take a free bus to the ski lifts. It's a five to seven-minute walk to the train station and the ski train stop. About a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian streets of the city center. The host met me and showed me in detail on a map how to get to the ski lifts and where the transport stops are located. The room is comfortable, with a good bed. Good soundproofing. Excellent cleanliness and daily housekeeping. Thank you very much.

Fantastiskt fin bastuavdelning i källaren och som NATO student kunde man checka ut först kl 12 avresedagen. Något lyhört från andra gäster, och en lite konstig lukt i lägenheten. Lukten kändes inte av efter ca 1 min inomhus, men var påtaglig just när man öppnade dörren.

• John (7/5): Comfortable and Clean - Breakfast was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Location was OK, about half-way between the station and the town. No lift so having to carry suitcases up the stairs. If I'm honest, I would rate this as a 'Pension' rather than a hotel.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Great location for Garmisch. Traditional German guesthouse....comfortable but not modern. - Great location. Size of the suite was quite good. Appreciate level of cleanliness. We had to pay an additional fee in cash (not credit card) when we arrived. Tea was available in the room, coffee was available downstairs as an extra charge. No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion provided.
• Mark (9/5): A great adult only stay at the Hilleprandt. - We stayed at the Hilleprandt for 7 nights and had a great stay. The property is located in a great location within a few minutes walk from the town centre and even closer to the train station. Having said that you would not have known as it is so peaceful. We had a ground floor room with a lovely patio area looking out on to the garden. We keep ourselves to ourselves but the proprietor was nice and friendly. If you are looking for a nice peaceful adult only place to stay then this is the place for you. We would always return when visiting Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

• Andy (10/5): Exceptional Stay - I stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a great stay! The host, Christiane, was such a sweet lady and was super helpful. The hotel is a 4-minute walk from the train station platform (and also a grocery store). The main area of Garmisch (with shops, restaurants, and a tourist information center) is about a 5- to 7-minute walk away. The area itself is very safe, quiet, and peaceful, with mountain views in every direction. My single room was pretty spacious and very clean. It had a desk with a comfortable chair to do some work at, and the wifi connection was great. The bed and bedding were quite comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size with more than enough counter and storage space. You also get a guest card for the area, which offers some free local transport and discounts for things like bike rentals, the Eckbauer cable car, a walking tour, etc. I'd stay here again!

• DavidCW2019 (10/5): Central Location for town and mountains - I had a most enjoyable 5-night stay at Hotel Hilleprandt in Garmisch. It is situated in a quiet residential area only 5 minutes walk from the main railway station and even less from the Zugspitz railway that runs along the valley to Eibsee. I booked a single room but received an upgrade to a double room with balcony. Christiane is a most welcoming and helpful host. I opted for the superb breakfasts each day. The Hotel has the highest possible standards of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Highly recommended.

Also, the staff was very kind and friendly, and I loved meeting the hotel dog Sammy. I would love to come back! I was hoping to check-in early, but it was not a huge problem, as they let me work from their breakfast area until check-in time. Very accommodating.
• Muhammad (9/5): Calm. Peaceful. Comfortable. A wonderful stay. - Christiane was welcoming and helped with suggestions on timings and things to see. Location was near perfect for a stay in Garmisch. You are located within a 5 minute walk to the main train station as well as the cogweel train station. The bus to Eibsee is also close by. So you can essentially take a bus to Eibsee (5 minutes walk from hotel), hike around Eibsee, take the cable car to Zugspitze and then come back down via cogwheel train (the final stop is a 5 minutes walk to the hotel). You can also take a scenic walk to Partnach gorge all on the same day!! The pedestrian area of the town is also 10 minutes walk away so it is quite convenient. Property also has a nice porch area where you get a great view of the mountains. Very calm, peaceful and quiet. I wish children were allowed so I can come with my family next time!

• Omer (10/5): Exceptional - Although some of the amenities might be on the less extravagant side, this is well reflected in the price making Hilleprandt Hotel exceptional value for money. The room was also very clean, had a nice balcony and the staff were excellent. Cristiana, who I mostly dealt with, was great and super helpful ! Nothing much! I suppose a minor thing is that i found the bed to be too soft, but this is really just personal preference. Note that I chose to not have breakfast so can't really comment on it.

• Sanna (9/5): I was satisfyed with the stay and would visit the same hotel again. - The location of the hotel was excellent, short distance from train station and also within 5 min walking distance from the Garmisch center. Room had very nice bathroom with roof window, and the balcony with two big doors allowed the air to go through the room on the warmer weather. Area of the hotel was among local houses and it felt very safe and quiet neighbourhood.

You could easily get to the Zugsptize train from here. Porch was a great amentity! Upstairs was a bit cumbersome with our bike bags.
