• leanna (7/5): Unique, hip, spot in Rome, great breakfast, def go back. - Location, 20 min walk to everywhere in Rome, as well as right around the hotel. Great breakfast, fresh local goods, great coffee bar. Keys cards are not the best, but we figured out. Paper towels for the kitchen.

• Dion (8/5): A great hotel ina prime location. - Hotel Smeraldo is situated in a fantastic location, close proximity to many of the popular tourist attractions. Close to Rome Termini train station. Quick and simple check in. Staff welcoming and very friendly . Family apartment was very spacious, with a separate dining and lounge area. Well appointed, with modern appliances and a full kitchen. Aircon worked very well. Beds were comfortable. Blockout curtains kept rooms dark. A lovely hotel in a great location. Street noise. Unfortunately the windows did not provide complete soundproofing. With the hotel being in a very popular district, street noise could be heard most of the night. Either from tourists walking around in the streets below late at night or from workers collecting bins early in the morning. If you decide to stay here, I suggest to bring some ear plugs.

Housekeeping attention to details, staff are all warm and friendly, especially the breakfast crew - thank you Manuele for making my perfect coffee every morning. Perfect for our family of 4. Located in a lovely authentic lane, so central, walkable to most places and an uber/taxi is always easily available.

Also, there were great places to eat and shop really close to the hotel. But the thing that stood out more than anything about Hotel Smeraldo was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Nothing. We loved our stay.

• Rosalba (10/5): Exceeded our expectations - We had two townhouses, next door to the actual hotel: a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom with a balcony. The pictures on the website do not do them justice. They were gorgeous, very modern, very clean, with lovely bathrooms and very well appointed kitchens. Very comfortable beds and lots of space for the 7 of us. The ac was excellent, which in August was so welcome. Staff were all wonderful and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, cafes, bars, and sights. Breakfast had many selections, both hot and cold, and the servers at breakfast very personble. They knew us and what we each liked after the first day. Great restaurants nearby, within walking distance of all sights, some a little further than others. Great place to stay while in Rome.

• Larissa (10/5): Great place to stay as a family for a few nights in Rome - The apartment was in a fabulous location both generally for the attractions and getting around Rome but also in the surrounding streets with loads of great restaurants and shops. The roof terrace bar was great. The apartment itself was spotless and great for 3 nights with teenage children. The receptionists were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help with taxis restaurants and where to get football tickets. Very welcoming and enthusiastic. Everything was good

The flat was excellent, well equiped, compact but everying you needed. Also spotlessly clean. The location was great. The staff were super helpful. Breakfast good too. Nothing really. A little noisy in the eve but a very minor issue given the great location
