We were the only ones for 2 nights so had the beach to ourselves and since you’re at the end of the beach it feels very private The road there wasn’t great but the area is being built up majorly and preparing for peak season so we understood
• Nicholas (9/5): Really beautiful and peaceful - but it would be a different experience with a car and during the main summer season with - The property has outstanding views from a balcony that is directly above the beach and sea. It was lovely to hear the ocean at night. John and Marta do everything they can to ensure a wonderful stay. We visited off-season (a bit) and without a car, and it was difficult to access from the main road - though we did walk it a few times (it’s a long, but gorgeous walk). More often we paid a local to us to the bus stop and some other nearby seaside towns, but he was very, very pricey for Albania.

• Guest (8/5): - Tolle Lage direkt am Meer. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Besitzer + Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aufgrund der direkten Lage am Meer ist das Meeresrauschen sehr laut am Zimmer zu hören, trotz geschlossenem Fenster.
• Alexander (10/5): - So ein Zimmer findet man wohl kaum. Noch näher am Meer geht nur, wenn man ein Boot chartert. Zudem noch ruhig. Die Baustellen und somit die Menschenmassen werden aber wahrscheinlich in den nächsten Jahren ansteigen. Momentan hat es noch den Charme von Angelegenheit kombiniert mit super Essen im dazugehörigen Restaurant.

• Drago93 (10/5): - Accoglienza cordiale e familiare di tutto lo staff, tutto ben organizzato e curato sempre pronti a rispondere ad ogni richiesta. La nostra camera con balconcino direttamente sul mare, dava la possibilità di addormentarsi con il suono delle onde. La struttura è provvista di una piccola lavanderia dove una gentile signora prende in carico tutti i panni, li lava e li stende. A completare la struttura ci sono anche un market ben fornito e un ristorante dove prezzo e qualità sono ottimi.

• Sarita (10/5): Our stay definitely surpassed expectations, loved sleeping right by the sea!! - The location is absolutely fantastic, the room with sea view is literally on the beach, there is a little balcony with the most stunning view. You can sleep listening to the sound of the sea right next to you :) The hosts are very friendly and also run an excellent restaurant right next to the apartment, the breakfast is very good as well and you can keep enjoying the fantastic view while eating. Also we loved the beach of Borsh, which is very quiet, it’s a white pebble beach with turquoise water. Pure relaxation :)

• Giuseppe (10/5): Paradisiaco - La camera con balcone ha qualcosa di indescrivibile, semplicemente paradisiaca. Tutto lo staff, in particolare Andi, è di un’accoglienza a 5 stelle. Sono stati 3 giorni di puro relax a 10 gradini dal mare, a due passi dal loro ristorante. Tutto gestito con passione e professionalità. Passare per Borsh e non fermarsi qui è un errore grande!. Consiglio a tutti di provare questa esperienza!

• Papa (10/5): - Vila John! Camerele aru o priveliște de îți taie răsuflarea! Superb ! Mâncarea și tot personalul de excepție! Complimente bucătarului, mulțumiri lui Andi!,ospătarul care care a avut grija in tot sejurul ca mesele sa fie mereu le superlativ! Chiar dacă drumul este lung si greu/ de la întrarea in Albania pana la locație numai serpentine imi doresc sa revin aici ! Recomand !
• Jack (10/5): - The host of Villa John and the owner of Horizonti are truly some of the warmest and most welcoming people I've ever met. This is reflected in the atmosphere of their restaurant and rooms and with the enthusiasm and positivity of their team. From the very beginning of our stay we were welcomed as family members and treated like royalty. They are clearly passionate about their country's history and dedicated to being the perfect hosts. I would encourage everyone who visits the beautiful area of Borsh to first try and stay at Villa John. We wanted for nothing, I have no complaints.

• Tina (10/5): Magisk utsikt fra balkongen! - Beliggenheten nærmest rett over bølgene og utsikten fra balkongen var helt fantastisk! De ansatte var skjønne og restauranten trivelig med områdets beste beliggenhet. Raus og god frokost var inkludert, det samme var solseng og parasoll. Jeg var ikke klar over at rengjøring ikke var inkludert, i det minste kunne søppelbøtten på badet blitt tømt, siden man ikke får kaste toalettpapir i toalettet. Ellers var det ok uten rengjøring, siden jeg bare var der i tre netter.

Everyone working there is so nice, any questions get answered and recommendations given. Perfect spot to have breakfast (and dinner) and go swimming. We cannot recommend this place enough

• Csaba (10/5): Fantastic stay at a great beach with a wonderful family - we were treated like VIPs - We spent a wonderful 5 days at Villa John. The establishment basically is run by Prenga, a wonderful gentleman who truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. He treated us like VIPs and at the same time like a family member. He was always there at the restaurant, since the establishment is basically a combination of a fantastic restaurant, a mini market, and two small air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. Even though the rooms are next to the restaurant, they are very quiet, and we always got a great night sleep, falling asleep at the sound of waves, which were just a few meters from our balcony. The establishment has its own, separate pebble beach area where Prenga provided us with lounge chairs and umbrellas. But again, what really made this stay there unforgettable is the constant warmth Prenga, his father and mother who managed the store, treated us with. We really felt like family members. The restaurant was amazing, the freshest salads, vegetables, seafood they prepared for us every day. We never ate anywhere else! One piece of advice when driving to Villa John: double check where the GPS is taking you! For us it lead us into a terrible, large stones-covered extremely narrow road in the middle of the woods. See the attached picture for the recommended road to take. Nothing.

• Anita (10/5): We stayed for 6 nights as part of an Albanian road trip. Location was lovely and less crowded. Right on the beach, wit - The location, everything you need on site, mini market, restaurant. Nothing.
• Tomas (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely fell in love with this place, beautiful location, great food and staff, johny is really friendly. The last 2,5 km we had to go on foot because our car could not make, but it was romantic hike. Be careful with that
• Zigaa (10/5): A house by the sea - literally - Very friendly owner. Excellent seafood. Breakfast is a la carte, but there are no restrictions. You get all you can eat. The room is right next to the sea, the balcony is almost above the sea. He has no comments. I recommend. /
• Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the view, the friendly staff, the comfortable bed. The balcony was lovely, it would have been nice to have access to the sea from there too. It was tricky to find, and along an unfinished dirt road. It might have been the time of year, but the beach was a bit littered and not ready for visitors.
• Hemang (10/5): Couldn’t ask for more - Exceptional! The view, the food and the just on the beach… only property in Borsh that has such pluses. To top it off the owners John and family, never met such nice people before even as a frequent traveler… Nothing at all

• Rocky (9/5): Wonderful stay over the Sea - You cannot ask for a better location, if you want to stay right over the sea! Yes, this property is exactly like the photos, just over the sea. The mesmerizing views and sounds of waves crashing are unforgettable. The balcony was amazing, with panoramic views over Ionian Sea. The owner John is a really nice guy who helped us a lot with the check in, breakfast, grocery shopping. He even cooked a delicious lunch for us. The restaurant was closed, since it was the off peak season, which was really a sad thing. John hosted our breakfast in the restaurant deck though, with sea view everyday - it was so cool! In summary, we loved the stay! Recommended. The facilities could have been a little better with better bed sheets and linen, toiletries etc. The connecting road was bad, since it was the off peak season. John told us it will be fixed in the peak season.
• Leela (10/5): My perfect getaway holiday - I was amazed when I found that place! Exactly what I needed and even more! I felt in love with John who was always there and helped with everything I wanted. Even though I was speaking English and he was peaking Albanian I was having delicious breakfasts every morning and reading my books on the balcony over the sea in my peace! Having the waves keeping me company! When it's off season , the dinner place is quite far.
• Zara (10/5): Beautiful stay - Great location. Sure in the non-off season the beach is packed. We had the entire beach South of borsh to our self. Saw nobody the entire way to Piqueras beach. Bear in mind you are literally sleeping like above the beach right next to the waves. This is quite loud and if you are sensitive to this, this could be a problem Its actually very relaxing though, just quite intense

• Don (10/5): Exceptional - The location is definitely the best in Borsh. You are directly centered at the beach. You can enjoy all the time the perfect view directly from the balcony. In the corner you have a very well equipped market. You can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the restaurant owned from the family. The food is delicious with a wonderful view. The owner is very friendly and helpful for any inquiry. I would definitely visit again Borsh and stay at vila john.

• Pyo (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff. Sea view. The restaurant serves really good grilled fish. The rooms are part of the restaurant complex. It means part of the view is the restaurant. The sounds can be heard till late at night. When I stayed, the restaurant was busy till10-11 pm so it wasn't very disturbing.
• Elena (10/5): Simply great! - The accommodation is located in a secluded area, right on the beach, with the sea right under the balcony and the waves guiding your sleep. Guests have at their disposal everything they need to spend a peaceful holiday away from the crowded resorts: comfortable accommodation, a restaurant with delicious food cooked by the wonderful Chef Tonny, served by very nice waiters – David, you rock! - and a mini market with all that you need. A family business, with super welcoming hosts eager to make you feel at home and, at the same time, invite you to feel the local specificity. And that's exactly how we felt. Thank you guys!
