• Debra (8/5): - The apartment allowed for preparing a meal and laundry and was within walking distance to Central station. A tea towel would have been appreciated to properly dry dishes. There was food left in the freezer. Scuff marks on walls.
• Gegic (1/5): Disgusting apartment, terrible management, and a complete nightmare experience. - One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. The bed in the apartment smelled absolutely disgusting, and the hygiene was completely unacceptable. Instead of properly solving the issue, they moved us to another apartment that was 5 km away, which completely ruined our plans. The second apartment was even worse — old, dirty, poorly maintained, and far below any acceptable standard. The management is terrible, extremely unprofessional, and clearly does not care about guests at all. Communication was awful and the entire experience felt irresponsible and disrespectful. I honestly recommend everyone to avoid this place at all costs because it’s a complete waste of money and nerves. The apartment was dirty, the bed smelled horrible, and the overall hygiene standards were unacceptable. Being moved 5 km away to an even worse apartment was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. The management handled everything poorly and showed zero professionalism or concern for guests.

• kozbross (4/5): - The location is very good 10 minutes from Lima station . The shower drain was broken and the water got all over the place in the apartment. There weren't dustbin bags in the bins and in the kitchen there was only coffee capsules for coffee machine ( no sugar, no teas). It's a good apartment but not recommended for a second time.

• Natália (6/5): Quiet property, good to sleep in - We enjoyed our stay mainly because the bed (mattress and pillows) were comfortable after a heavy day of walking and sightseeing. The location was good - close enough to station but with places to eat nearby and a ~30min walk to centre. The property is quiet and was fine for a 2 day stay. We won’t return due to: - as many reviews point out, the property needs a refresh (painting walls, repair water damage and skirtboards) - the shower drain is heavily clogged, having to wait for the water to drain, otherwise you open the door and the water will run out - the WiFi did not work, even with 2 different ones being provided - the tv didn’t work, one of the remotes was missing batteries (not that important but why have it there in the first place) - the sofa is horrible, you sit on it and almost break something as you feel the big springs underneath Taking all of this into account, we don’t recommend and won’t return as the price does not match the quality.

• Nelli (8/5): Alles in einem sehr empfehlenswert. - Super Lage sehr zentral U Bahn Station innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu erreichen zu Fuß. Wir haben uns auch sehr sicher gefühlt besonders für Frauen in einem fremden Land ein wichtiger Punkt. Die Türen sind zu und lassen sich ohne Zugangscode nicht öffnen etc. Wir hätten uns gewünscht dass die Anzahl der Handtücher angepasst wird 2 große Handtücher für 2 Personen und 3 Tage ist etwas wenig durchdacht.

Since it was cancelled by you or booking, I quickly made a new reservation and stayed for the 3 days 16-19/2 I paid that in full on the 15/2 night I never cancelled my first reservation! I was never informed in the app that it was cancelled. On 15/2 night I only saw that my first reservation has dissapeared. • Wai-Lum (6/5): Lovely accomodation but... - I liked the location and the close walk to Milano Centrale. Nice looking accomodation. Everything else was good about the accomodation but there was this clicking sound that happened later on in the late evening every night from the fridge. This sound kept waking us up and we couldn't sleep well due to it and we didn't know how to stop it.

• Peter (5/5): Sollten wir wider mal nach Milano reisen ist es fraglich ob wir diese Unterkunft noch einmal berücks - Die Lage war gut da diese nicht allzu weite vom Bahnhof Milano Centrale entfernt liegt und somit zu Fuss problemlos erreicht werden konnte, auch der Zugang hat ohne weitere Probleme geklappt. Das Bett in der Unterkunft war auch gut. Ich glaube mich zu erinnern das wir das Appartement 2 hatten. Im Bad war der Türpfosten rechts unten wahrscheinlich durch einen Wasserschaden extrem aufequollen, so sollte man keine Unterkunft vermieten bevor das nicht behoben wurde. Der Abfluss in der Dusche hinten am Boden war auch nicht Appetitlich zum Anschauen, das sollte man wirklich korrigieren. Wir wollten mal kurz den Backofen verwenden um was aufzuwärmen, als wir das Backblech herausgenommen haben und dabei feststellen mussten wie dreckig dies ist, haben wir darauf verzichtet dieses zu verwenden, das sollte am besten mal ersetzt werden oder zumindest Backtrennpapier zu Verfügung gestellt werden.

Terminale nispeten yakın olması güzel, Duomo’ya ise biraz yurumek gerekiyor (30/45 dk arasi) Temiz ve hemen her ev gereci var, utuden kasaya… Bir tek o siyah yatak ortusunu ilk gunden kaldirdik. Sık yikanabilir bir sey gibi durmuyordu. Bir de havlu kagit olsa mutlu olurduk.

Once the property owner texted me the instructions on how to get in, it was very easy. I plan to come back to Milano and i plan to stay here again. • Chekh (8/5): Buoni appartamenti ma va migliorata la pulizia - La posizione è perfetta, vicino alla matero, ottimo quartiere (sicuro ed elegante), diversi ristoranti e negozi a pochi passi. Le stanze sono spaziosi, c'è più o meno tutto per un soggiorno di breve/media durata. Sicuramente la pulizia sarebbe da migliorare, in una delle nostre stanze lo scarico della doccia era completamente otturato con i capelli. Abbiamo segnalato subito questo fatto, la doccia era praticamente inutilizzabile ma in 5 giorni nessuno è venuto per pulire. Alla fine abbiamo dovuto pulire noi. Gli appartamenti avrebbero bisogno di essere puliti e messi a posto un pò di più.

Die Lage war zwar in Ordnung, jedoch konnten wir uns aufgrund der zahlreichen Mängel nicht wohlfühlen. Die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig: Auf dem Teppich lagen Haare, es war staubig, am Badezimmerspiegel waren Zahnpastaspritzer und die Küchenschränke waren fettig. Zudem fanden wir unter einem Schrank noch Kosmetikartikel von vorherigen Gästen, was einen sehr unhygienischen Eindruck hinterließ. Die Ausstattung war ebenfalls mangelhaft – es gab kein Geschirrhandtuch und deutlich zu wenig Toilettenpapier. Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer war unzureichend, und sowohl der Abfluss in der Dusche als auch im Waschbecken waren verstopft. Auch der Service war nicht zufriedenstellend: Nach einem Telefonat mit der Bitte um eine zweite Decke erhielten wir keinerlei Rückmeldung. Der Balkon war aufgrund nasser und stark verschmutzter (Vogelkot) Möbel praktisch nicht nutzbar. Zusätzlich waren die Vorhänge schmutzig, der Schrank ließ sich ohne Griffe nur schwer öffnen, und die Fernseher funktionierten nicht. Insgesamt entspricht die Unterkunft leider nicht den Erwartungen, die man an ein gepflegtes Apartment stellen darf.

• Anastasia (1/5): - The only good thing was clean bad linen. We were very disappointed with these apartments. First of all, the apartment was very poorly cleaned. There was dust everywhere. The dishes were greasy and dirty, it was unpleasant to touch them. The kettle was hidden in a cupboard, but when we found it, it was rusty and full of limescale. There was also no dishwasher. Also, we did not get the room we booked. It was a bit bigger, but it did not help because the apartment was still very dusty. The drain in the bathroom was clogged, so the water did not go down. It was almost impossible to take a shower (photo attached). Also the light in the bathroom barely worked — only 1 out of 4 light bulbs was working. Before arrival we asked if we could check in 2 hours earlier, but they said no because the apartment was being cleaned. We said okay. But after entering the apartment we had a question: what exactly did they clean? Check-out is at 10:00 and check-in at 15:00, so they have 5 hours to clean, but everything was still dirty/ in dust. Another thing is that they sent the check-in instructions only at 14:40, and only after we wrote that we would arrive in 30 minutes. Also something strange: these apartments are not called Joivy like in the booking, but ARIA MILANO. There is a big ARIA MILANO sign on the building, and the glass door at the entrance also says ARIA MILANO. I saw this reviews before our arrival, other guests also wrote about it. When I asked the apartment about this, they did not answer or explain anything. Another problem is that the gate and the glass entrance doors do not close, even though they send a code to open them. In reality the doors are always open, which does not feel safe. In the end we were so uncomfortable that we left almost one day earlier and moved to a normal hotel near the Duomo. The only good thing was clean bed linen. At most you can stay here one night and leave, but these apartments are not good for a normal stay in Milan. I do not recommend.

• Leanne (8/5): - Good location and easy to access the Metro to get to landmarks etc. Very clean, all amenities available as advertised The sign for apartment is not “Joivy” as per booking.com so there was a bit of confusion when we arrived. Also the air con did not work - we had it on cool however, temperature kept rising which was uncomfortable. We ended up switching off and opening the window instead.

• Pavel Volcov (9/5): I recommend it — everything was wonderful! - I really liked the fast communication with the staff through messages — they were very responsive and helpful. The location is very convenient: not far from the center of Milan, close to a metro station and large shops. Access to the apartment was very simple and clear. There is also a balcony with a nice view. Around the building you can find many restaurants, bars, and stores. The Lima metro station is only about a 5-minute walk away, and Milano Centrale is around a 15-minute walk. Because of this, I recommend not taking a taxi when arriving in Milan — it’s easy to simply walk to the apartment from the station. We also highly recommend visiting the restaurant Le Brasier nearby — the food is delicious and the Italian wines are excellent. There are no bad impressions, as everything was as described in the booking.

Перевіряти роботу WiFi перед заїздом гостей, бо жоден канал не ловив в кімнаті і пароль з листівки не пасував. Так і до кінця подорожі у нас не було не інтернету, ні телевізору не працював. Туалетного паперу не було в туалеті, дозатор мила був зламаний, батарейка в пульті розгорнена та не працював пульт.

• Kate (6/5): Great apartment but ongoing maintenance questionable - The apartment is in an ideal location, close to the Lima Metro station with lots of eating places and shops in the area and surrounds. Apartment itself is clean, modern and comfortable for two people. However, upon arrival we discovered that we could not connect to the WIFI and use the main TV in the lounge. I immediately contacted the office. At first they were quite helpful in offering suggestions and when it was ascertained there was a problem was advised they would get a technical person to look at it. Unfortunately this never happened and we kept getting emails/messages from different people asking pretty much the same thing each time. We also could not locate any items to wash and dry our dishes with, only a single dishwasher tablet but no dishwasher. Very frustrating. Hopefully these issues are rectified quickly for future guests.

• OFTÁLMICA (3/5): Bien el apartamento muy mala gestión - Edificio clásico, muy bonito y bien restaurado, muy silencioso. Habitación bien decorada, comoda. De las 3 noches que estuvimos, 2 estuvimos sin luz un tiempo considerable, teniendo una respuesta muy lenta y complicada. En el baño, faltaba gel. Tv, se desconectaba. Olvidamos un secador, de lo que avisamos de inmediato y tras unos 10 días esperando respuesta nos dicen que no estaba…

• Hanna (9/5): - Ich bin kürzlich nach Mailand gereist und habe im Joivy Hotel-Apartment übernachtet. Mein Aufenthalt war rundum sehr angenehm. Das Apartment war sauber, gut gepflegt und gemutlich. Besonders gefallen hat mir die Lage: nicht weit vom Zentrum entfernt und gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Mir hat wirklich alles gefallen. Ich kann dieses Apartment uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Mailand sehr gern wieder hier wohnen.

• Ffion (6/5): A pleasant stay and reasonable value for - Excellent location. Loads of restaurants and shops nearby. Metro stations minute walks away with quick access to the city centre. Modern looking apartment with plenty of storage and complimentary facilities to use. The room did smell of cigarettes every time we waked inside. We had trouble with getting the window to close and we tried several times (it was also left open when we first entered the apartment). The front door handle also kept falling off.

• Lucía (4/5): La limpieza es deficiente! - Creo que no podría destacar nada del apartamento. Está claro que cuando se construyeron tenían buenos acabados pero el mantenimiento se nota que es nulo. Puertas sin marcos, zócalos inexistentes, suciedad (polvo, cal, restos de comida), cortinas sin poner o guardadas alfombras de muy desgastadas, bolsas de basuras vaciadas en vez de ser cambiadas, papeles higiénicos distintos probablemente reciclados de otros huéspedes, paredes llenas de marcas y un largo etc. Las puertas de acceso no cierran así que los códigos no valen para nada, cualquier persona puede colarse y aparecer en la puerta de tu apartamento sin ningún control. Por el dinero que hemos pagado por noche nos ha parecido una estafa en su totalidad, como persona con experiencia siendo auxiliar de limpieza en apartamentos turísticos no cuesta nada pasar una papel para quitar el polvo por lo menos del cabecero y las lamparas (aunque no achaco la culpa a las trabajadoras porque desconozco también sus condiciones). La conclusión es que calidad precio deja mucho que desear y sobre todo al tema de limpieza (nos hemos encontrada un calcetín a plena vista de otro huésped, creo que con eso lo digo todo).

• Eilidh (8/5): Beautiful apartment in great location - The apartment is in a great location just 10 minutes from the central station, 5 minutes from the metro and 2 minutes from the nearest supermarket. We very kindly got upgraded free of charge and checked in early as well. Staff were very kind and chatty, everything was clearly explained on how it works. The washing machine and drying rack were great as we had been travelling for a while. We were left water, washing up liquid and sponges in the apartment which was very helpful as well. The apartment was very spacious and had 2 amazing tvs with all your streaming services. The staff were easily contactable via whatsapp. Our stay was excellent overall and we only encountered minor issues. There was no hand soap in the bathroom which was disappointing and is an essential in all bathrooms. The safe in our room didn’t work which we spoke to staff about and were told it would be fixed or they’d contact us with more information but this never happened. On the contract it asks you to separate your rubbish - which we always try to do when possible anyway! However the labelling of bins in the room was misleading and wanting to avoid getting a fine for separating our rubbish wrong we ended up just taking the recycling and rubbish away ourselves. So having clearly labels on the bins would be great to help avoid the fines.

• Emily (10/5): Neighborhood Gem! - I loved this apartment in a green, residential section of Milan. The apartment itself was extremely clean, well appointed, and quiet. Cold AC and great water pressure and also felt super safe. The neighborhood was awesome. Great coffee places nearby (try Orsonero) and the cutest mom and pop for DELICIOUS pizza and and pasta really close (portobello). Don’t miss an aperol at Bar Basso, it’s a couple of blocks away. Easy to get everywhere walking or on metro. So nice to be away from crowds. The stove in my unit did not work. No big!

• Luella (9/5): - Rooms were very modern and clean. Location was good, in a quiet area 30 minute walk from centre of Milan. Nice big smart TV in the room, well stocked kitchen. Very spacious.

• Charmaine Fewster (5/5): Would not recommend - There was no hot water. Which was very unpleasant when having a shower. Especially since it was cold. The floors had been cleaned. The front door didn’t lock straight away. Had to lift the door up to Aline the lock.

• Оксана (7/5): - Апартаменты выглядят симпатично, почти все есть, есть гель для душа и мыло для рук и один мини-набор шампуня. Тихо, 6 минут до метро, блэкаут шторы, очень тепло (январь), есть лифт. Понятная регистрация. Недалеко супермаркет. Есть посудомойка и капсулы. Апартаменты уже немного уставшие, в раковине и душе разводы от жесткой воды, забиваются сливы воды. Кровать не самая удобная, а подушки и одеяло явно надо постирать.

• gregorio (6/5): Deludente e dispiaciuto - Un buon appartamento pulito e funzionale in ottima posizione centrale e ben servito . Purtroppo internet wifi non ha funzionato e nemmeno le televisioni . L’assistenza in italiano risponde solo dalle 9 alle 18 e seppure abbia sollecitato due volte al giorno di risolvere il problema nessuno é intervenuto e ho ricevuto sempre le solite mail delle solite stupidaggini da idiota . Purtroppo questo disservizio fa squalificare tutto il resto . Immagino cosa sarebbe successo se non fosse stata la televisione e il wifi mi toccava andare in hotel . Assistenza pessima
