• AdventureScott (10/5): Incredible view, wonderful large room tastefully decorated, friendly owners. Loved it! - this place is fantastic, right next to St Stephan's cathedral. The room was large and had a direct view of the cathedral, especially during sunrise. The bed was comfortable and the window opened to let in air, and even the sounds of the people enjoying the square. The staff was so nice. It was a two night splurge for me and well worth it. The kitchenette was perfect though I didn't do any cooking. I'd def return to this place. It seems the a/c was not operating, perhaps until it gets warmer, but I could've benefitted from it instead of having the window open all night due to the sounds, but this is only because I enjoy the room cold at night.

• Lisa (9/5): Wonderful place to stay in Vienna! - We loved our stay here! This is such a unique property and the location couldn’t be more perfect. We stayed in apartment 7, which was very roomy and beautifully decorated. Unlike some of the other reviews, we loved the older furniture, which has been well cared for and adds charm and elegance to the apartment. The apartment was incredibly clean and staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Lucas. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you! The beds and larger pillows were not the most comfortable for us, but that’s a matter of preference. Overall, very happy.

The apartment was comfortable and cosy. The location was perfect for touring the city. Easy to walk to anything we wanted to see and was close to public transportation if needed. The views were amazing from the deluxe apartment. We appreciated having the well-stocked kitchen and clothes washer. Have a clothes dryer would have been great (as we were travelling for a month with only carry on luggage) but the drying rack worked well.

A small family-run business providing spacious and tasteful appartments right in the centre of Vienna, only steps away from St Stephen's Cathedral. What is unusual is the level of personal concern, not only to make you welcome, but to ensure that your stay goes well. I'm very glad I found this excellent place to stay last year, and was delighted to be able to return this year.

They have devoted a lot of time and effort to think and provide everything their guests could need. The location is conveniently located in the center with nearby access to the Underground metro system. Both rooms have great AC and the apartment we stayed in (7) has a magnificent view of the Cathedral. Nothing, it was perfect.

From the moment we booked, the service was impeccable. The communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful, making the entire process very easy. Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, which made us feel well-cared for before we even arrived. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the quality facilities, including everything we might need. The flat itself was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Every detail seemed to have been thoughtfully considered, The well-equipped kitchen had everything we could possibly need. There is no parking on site so the hosts suggested a long term car park a little further away which was easily accessible by public transport at a truly reasonable price. What really set this experience apart was the proactive and friendly service. It was clear that the hosts genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment. This level of attention, combined with all facilities, made for an absolutely perfect stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, we will recommend Pension Sacher to friends who want to spend a few days in the heart of Vienna! Nothing.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals. The windows have good sound insulation, sleep was not disturbed by the nocturnal street noises near the cathedral. I am grateful for the great recommendations for restaurants, cafes. This was a charming journey. I highly recommend this accommodation if you want to enjoy the ambiance of Vienna and not waste time on the way to see the historic center. • Flying (10/5): Delightful Sacher in the Heart of Vienna - We had a brilliant room with a stunning view of St. Stephen’s Cathedral – you couldn’t ask for a more central location. You are steps away from all forms of transport: from trains, to taxis to the amazing Horse Drawn carriages 😊. The host was extremely courteous and helpful, and we truly appreciated being allowed to stay on later without any additional charge – a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, and although the furnishings and bathroom had a more traditional, old-fashioned style, I found them charming. It felt like stepping back in time to Sisi’s Austria. Yet we had all the modern comfort we are used to nowadays. Importantly, the apartment was not noisy, although located in the very centre of Vienna, which added to the overall comfort. Don't let the appearance of the bathroom put you off – it was perfectly functional and clean. Also worth noting, the photos on booking.com are accurate and true to what you’ll find. We found nothing negative.
