• Milou (6/5): Top locatie, niet meer dan dat. - De locatie was top! Ondanks dat het appartement midden in het centrum zat. Was er niks te horen. Het appartement was ook erg ruim. Het appartement was behoorlijk vervallen. Verf dat van de muren kwam. Schimmel in de badkamer, tegels die los zaten. Daarnaast was er een enorme wiet en tabak lucht in de gang wat door de deur naar binnen drong.
• Shabnam (6/5): Prima voor de prijs, locatie was top! - De locatie was top! Midden in het centrum en ook niet ver van Little Tokyo. Er waren veel leuke winkels, cafés en restaurants op slechts een paar minuten loopafstand. De bedden waren ook prima. Bij binnenkomst werden we verwelkomd door een nare rioollucht uit de badkamer. Later op de avond lekte het badkamerplafond, waardoor de vloer een beetje nat werd. We kregen van tevoren de deurcodes en instructies, maar daarna niets meer van de host gehoord. Zelfs na het lekken van het plafond hebben we gebeld en berichten gestuurd, maar hier kwam geen reactie op. De communicatie van de host kan zeker beter!

My granddaughter and wife have never been able to complete a shopping spree from Primark to Prada in such a contained area Whilst I? Thoroughly appreciated the gluhwein and other Dusseldorf eating and drinking experiences. Only had time for 3 days in Dusseldorf ☹️

Also send a message asking for my invoice and nothing. Bathroom door was broken, and the floor in the shower had a big crack i almost cut my foot. The water was never that cold, and the bed had no sheets or anything, just a tiny blanket

• Sam (3/5): We had a great time in Düsseldorf but wish there were better amenities and a higher level of cleanliness in the apartmen - The location of this apartment is absolutely incredible. Extremely quaint street outside and so close to all the bars, restaurants and the river Rhine! Also very very comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for our stay. There were hardly any facilities or amenities - no shampoo, no pods for the coffee machine. The floor was also incredibly dirty, we all had black bottoms of our feet after walking around bare foot.

Bagno minuscolo, lavandino ancora più piccolo che era complicato lavarsi la faccia. Nessun sapone per la doccia, no asciugacapelli e no capsule per il caffè. Per 200€/notte ci aspettavamo onestamente di più.
• Chris Chukwuma (3/5): Unpleasant - Honestly, there was very little to like about this property. I strongly feel that no guest should have to spend their money and face such a level of discomfort. From the beginning, communication with management was very poor. My message through Booking requesting the WiFi code was ignored. I eventually managed to get the code from a cleaner on my second day, only to find out that the WiFi did not work at all. Since the TV was also connected to the same WiFi, the smart TV never functioned either. The apartment lacked even the most basic facilities. There was no wardrobe or proper space to store clothes. One of the chairs was broken and poorly repaired with some whitish substance, and I actually sustained a hip injury after tripping over it. Throughout my stay I had to avoid that seat completely (photo attached). The curtains left nearly half the windows uncovered, meaning people outside could easily see into the apartment. It was unclear if this was simply careless or a deliberate choice, but it completely failed to provide privacy. I was also shocked to find a small, tacky container with just a drop of liquid soap placed in the bathroom supposedly prepared for an adult staying two nights (photo taken before use). There was a micro- refrigerator which is unlike any other accommodation I’ve booked on this platform. To make matters worse, despite booking for two nights, the cleaner came and instructed me to check out after the first night, claiming it was an order from the “boss.” I had to show my booking confirmation to prove that I had booked two nights, not one. This level of unprofessionalism is absolutely unheard of. Almost everything. From the lack of basic facilities, poor communication, and absence of professionalism, to the complete disregard for guest comfort and privacy. This is by far the worst accommodation I have stayed in through Booking. I believe Booking.com should take responsibility for upholding its standards. This property clearly fails to meet even the minimum expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, professionalism, and respect for guests.
• André (1/5): Tolle Lage, ansonsten Albtraum. - Tolle Lage. Das ist auch das einzige Positive, was ich zu dieser Unterkunft sagen kann. Leider wirklich abgewohnt. Unreparierte Wasserschäden, Dreck überall. die Toilettenschüssel stützt auf einem Glas-Aschenbecher, da anscheinend vor einiger Zeit abgebrochen. Bei Ankunft waren bereits andere Gäste in unserem Zimmer. Zusätzlicher Überbuchungsstress. Aber eine gute Lage :P. Leider auch das einzig positive an der Unterkunft. Bleibt bloß weg von dieser Unterkunft.

• Fischer (3/5): War Ok aber nicht zu empfehlen - Tolle Lage,Betten war sehr bequem Da wir Selbstversorger waren, konnten wir den Kühlschrank nicht nutzen,er war viel zu klein hatten gerade mal ein paar Getränke platz.Wasserkocher war total verkalkt,Toaster mussten wir erst Sauber machen,Arbeitsfläche verklebt,Tassen und Gläser waren auch nicht sauber.Bad viel zu klein man konnte sich kaum rühren.Für den Hochsommer wären Ventilatoren angebracht, war jede Nacht eine extreme Hitze.Würde empfehlen mehr auf Sauberkeit zu achten.

• Ida (9/5): Good Location - You can have everything you need for cooking. The bed was okay, easy check-in and check-out, and the unit was clean, but what I liked the most was the location. It's in the old city. You just need to go down and find anything you need. The apartment was easy to find. The bathroom was big enough. The unit that we got was on the highest floor, so we needed to carry our luggage upstairs, but it wasn't that bad. There was no Air conditioning, so in the Hot summer, it was quite challenging. No washing machine.

Small entrance and hidden, so hard to locate for the first time. Uber can't stop in front of the entrance. Water pressure low and water not hot.
• Shane (6/5): We had a great time in Düsseldorf, the Christmas markets are amazing. - Location was amazing right in the heart of the old town. Düsseldorf is a beautiful city and this location makes it easy to see the whole city. Be warned, we had to climb three flights of stairs carrying our suitcases. It wasn’t a difficult climb, but just bare that in mind. Wifi was a very patchy in the apartment and it could do with a washing machine.

I would highly recommend getting WiFi, larger towels and a better fr - I liked the bed, the location in Altstadt was close to everything and the street was quiet when I was staying. The lack of WiFi was challenging, only 2 coffee pods for a multi night stay was annoying. The fridge was set to economy mode, where it didn’t cool my yogurt overnight so I didn’t feel safe eating it.

Bathroom is very cramped and difficult to use (the sink). Window in room could not be opened, which was essential, though, given the sultry weather. We therefore slept very poorly. Given that, the price was too high, although maybe not, considering the great location. I also have no price comparison.

• Serap (10/5): Excellent! - We liked everything, it was an excellent stay for us. The location is very convenient, restaurants, markets , shops, everything is there. At night it was quiet and we slept like in our home. Suleiman, the owner was so kind and helpful, he answered all our questions even at midnight and helped us kindly. The apartment is spacious and the beds are very comfy. It was more than enough for our family (4 persons). I highly recommend it 10/10… We liked everything!!!!

In the heart of the old city centre.Quick reply from host , easy check in and out. The toilet was a bit small and not so comfortable and the shower also a bit tight to move around and take shower. There was no fridge or cooking stove. The mini fridge that was there was not working ( was only for keeping a bottle but also didn't work)

• Neal (9/5): Great example of a short stay family accommodation - Great apartment for a family of 5. Very clean, great size, and lots of kitchen equipment, including a coffee machine with coffee! No big deal but the TV screen had been damaged so we could not use and the shower tray had a split in the base so wasn't sure how strong it was, all was fine though, no issues and would book again.

• Simone (8/5): Perfect stay for a weekend. - PERFECT LOCATION! Cannot get more downtown than we were. Comfortable beds. 1 Bathroom for 5 people wasn't ideal. Especially because there is no separate toilet. So when one is in the shower, the other 4 cannot use toilet.

• David (1/5): Bad - Located in the middle of the city Everything else, we had appartement 2. The shower only had 1 door, so it was impossible without flooding the place. Only 2 towels. Very old and used stuff, by far not clean. The beds were disgusting, we literally ran out and searched for another place to stay.

The owners need to replace the water heater. The pictures did not really show much so we were a bit nervous about the apartment until we arrived.

• Tim (1/5): Avoid at all costs. - Nothing First of all we couldn't get in as the code didn't work, so we had to ask the neighboring restaurant to let us in, we should have walked away at this point! We booked for 3 and there was only a double bed. The room was dirty, the bed had been made, but without new sheets, and there was an empty bottle of wine on the bench and a beer can in the fridge. Rubbish from the previous guest was still in the bin. The towels had been left in the sink and been covered in liquid soap from a dispenser. Were given room 2 and it looked nothing like the pictures. As we had to sleep 3, we had to abandon and find alternate accomodation. Avoid at all costs.

• Gemma (9/5): Great place to stay. Brilliant location - Really comfy and clean. Large bathroom, lounge and bedroom. Facilities were good (coffee and a few teq bags).Exactly what we needed. The location was perfect for the Christmas Markets. Simple check in and check out. The owner was really helpful and accommodating. * the curtains didn't cover the windows in the lounge where 2 beds were. * the shower was missing a panel - slippy floor Our stay was still great.

But when we asked for the login we were told that internet was not available, it is down on that whole side of the street due to work being done. I booked this location ahead of schedule and so I feel I should have been notified that the internet was not working, especially being a guest from another country.

(7/5): For a visit to the Christmas market, this is an outstanding location, with a very kind host. - The location was good for us because we were travelling with three little kids, so we needed to be able to reach the Christmas market and city center quickly. One block from a bakery, one block from a market square, one block from the river. On a quiet street. Amazing location. The host was extremely kind. He put out an extra baby bed for us. The beds were very comfortable. We had three children under the age of 6, so they tend to play all over the floor. The corners of the apartment had big dust bunnies (and the bathroom vent was caked with dust). We moved one bed so that one child might not fall out of it and underneath we found some old medicine pills and some broken cookies and a thick layer of dust. Under the master bedroom there was a thick layer of dust. So we did not feel comfortable with the children rolling all over the floor knowing that it was not so clean. The other issue was getting into and out of the apartment (stairs only) with three children, two strollers, and a narrow entry shared with a restaurant. We knew in advance it would be this way, so the host let us have an apartment on the 2nd floor instead of the the 3rd floor.
