- Olivia (1/5): Painful stay. - Only positive is having family mart next door. Arrived at the property at 4pm check in and was promised a futon. There was no futon and no towels. Had to ring customer service 5 times before getting anywhere. Had a knock at the door at 12:30am delivering the towels and futon that had a gross stain on it. The futon was a thin mattress that my daughter couldn’t even sleep on, may as well not have bothered delivering it and waking us up at 12:30am as she just slept with us in the small bed. The kitchen sink had a fowl smell coming out of it, almost like a sewage smell. After we checked out, they sent us a message asking for 5000yen for a stain on the futon that we didn’t even use. I don’t like posting negative reviews but this was just and .

- Svenja Naomi (6/5): Naja..

- sergio (9/5): Enjoyed my stay in this complex, easy access to subway, - Was familiar with the area from previous night walks in that district . Access to two subway systems. Two stop to Diver city, Yamanote line to main cities. Access to Lawson, two 7-elevens. The cable wire was disconnected, so no local television for a whole week, until last day I was looking for a usb port, notice cable wire disconnected. Towel smell after one usage, cold air coming from the vent in restroom, couldn’t find off switch. draft from main door created dust on top half of door . Old spaghetti noodle in microwave. Freeway noise, shut bedroom door and fades away.

- Andrew (7/5): - The staff was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. The apartment, while not very large, is functional and located in a quiet and convenient area, ideal for exploring the places we wanted to visit during our stay. The pillows are very uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good rest; it would be ideal to have pillows that provide better comfort. Train access is limited and not as convenient as expected, especially when traveling with large luggage.

- larry (1/5): - This was terrible. They advertise the name of a hotel and it turns out to be another one. It's a scam. I was never able to stay with my family after a terrible trip. We were never able to get into the room because the keys never worked. I never recommend this place. I have never been.
Scammer Not ia real Inn
- Mayu (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean, came with all the amenities, washer and and everything you need! The area smelled bad
- David (4/5): Eh - it had running water, instructions to get in were simple enough. smelled like mold, had to leave windows open for airflow but was next to busy street. Room was not that clean there were nail clippings on the floor.
- Barry (5/5): Passable -
- Michaela (5/5): Passable - I rate the area as a whole good, good accessibility from the train station, on a good train route. I was dissatisfied with the way the room was handed over. It was a mix-up with the room number. The staff didn't speak enough English and the communication with them was not good, I wasn't really able to find out anything.
The room smelled of sink drain and there was nothing that could be done about it. The smell was really big and bothersome.
- Qingsen (1/5): Bad - Not cleaned rubbish everywhere
- David (7/5): Good -
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Meliza (10/5): Excellent 💯💯💯💯 - The place was very clean, comfortable, safe and affordable.
There's a
Washing machine and dryer
hairdryer
microwave
water heater
humidifier
aircon with heater
iron
massage chair
refrigerator
Location was excellent, noise was not an issue for us because it wasn't that noisy as stated on other reviews.
Wifi was excellent
Heater really helped a lot!
Location was a like a 4-minute walk going to shibaura-futon station and a 15-minute walk to tamachi station.
Family mart was one block away. Nothing.
- Kyoko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yasser (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adeel (9/5): Overall it was an amazing experience - The location was perfect The space
- Hieuhughes (8/5): Solo traveler first experience would do it again - The proximity to Family mart ( next door) shibaura-futo station, tamachi, and mita station. The Room was good for in and out no interaction since it was key pad based.
Everything in the apartment was perfect for a solo / even minimalist couple traveler. There was an electic stove, water kettle, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, mini vacuum( surprisingly powerful), washer/dry combo machine, and drying line.
The little massage chair was a godsend and the dehumidifier + air purifier was nice
There is also an air exchange square that allows fresh air to circulate in.
I spent 5 days and 4 nights and was able to sleep with out much of anything bothering me.
the walk is quite outside since Minato is more of a business area vs ropponi ( 10 min uber, 35 train)
Very clean area Washer/dry has a strong distince smell almost like durian. I got used to it however if someone has sensitive smell they may not be able to stand it.
You do feel the rail way, for me I noticed it but didn't it didn't bother me too much
The battery on the apartment door ran out of juice so after an hour and 30 mins after talking to the host; I bought a 9v battery to jumpstart it and 4 double A to replace it.
The direction is a bit weird you have to search this [
3-chōme-17-9 Kaigan, Minato City, Tokyo 108-0022, Japan ] or Google might get confused.
distance is a little far max is 16 mins from tamachi
There not many food options unless you go to the major cities
- Sampe (10/5): Perfect - Everything A little tiny
- Millaj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mulot (9/5): Superb -
- Venessah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (5/5): Confusing, stressful, but comfortable and clean when finally inside. - The apartment was comfortable and clean. The name of this property is misleading. This is not an "inn," and there is no signage anywhere at the property saying "Tune Inn Tokyo Bay." It is an apartment building under a different name. It is confusing and nondescript that I figured it out by going to the property next door and reading a sign saying they don't rent apartments, and that it is the building next to it that does. There is no desk or concierge at the property to ask anything. There is a sign that has numbers to call for emergencies by apartment number, but the door code phone dialer does not work. My phone was not working because I had just landed from the US, and I didn't have wifi. They had apparently emailed a stay guide with access information, but I didn't get it beforehand because I was flying. So, I landed, went to the property and had no idea how to get in. I was finally able to find free city wifi and get the guide and find the information I needed buried in a multipage guide, but it took me about two hours of struggling to figure it out with bags and exhausted after a long international flight. I didn't realize when I booked this that I would need emailed information to access the property, and it was very stressful because I was meeting my niece there, and she didn't have that information, and I didn't know where she was. Turns out she had found a policeman to let her in, so she was in the room when I finally gained access. This property should be more clear in the description about all of this and not call itself the "Tune Inn Tokyo Bay" when there is nothing at the property using that name and when it is not an "inn."
- Laxman (9/5): Clean, comfortable and cozy - Instructions about entering the property was not very clear
It would have helped to have pictures at each step of the multiple layers of entry
- Alister (8/5): Rainbow Bridge - Ease of access to rainbow bridge (a 15min walk). Nothing in particular
- Halai (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - a little too loud, but I guess that's normal in a big city. although maybe on an upper floor should be less noisy. anyway, I was more than happy with the little apartment. I learned to love it, and now I miss it.
- Jess (5/5): Passable - Location is very close proximity to Tamachi station, good supermarkets etc close by. There was a very unpleasant smell coming through the pipes, and there was already damage to the room when we arrived, and it wasn't overly clean. The building is unstaffed so I wasn't sure how/who to contact about it.
- Kathlyn (7/5): Could have given a higher rating if the wifi worked. - It is near a train station and a convenience store, and the area is really quiet. Wifi didn’t work for the whole duration of our trip. We just gave up on trying to connect.
- Areeb (8/5): Great - Clean and it was very close to the city centre
- Morten (6/5): Pleasant - The bathroom had a washingmachine. In the description of the appartment it said that there was both a bedroom and a livingroom. We could find the livingroom. Futhermore it said that the terrace was facing a quiet street. Well, this street might be quiet, but the other street was very busy. Guess the description was a bit optimistic 🙄
The description to get inside the building and the appartment was difficult to understand, so I had to call the staff by phone to get instructions to get in.
- Matthew (8/5): Great place - I liked that it had a cooking area and how amazing the shower was I couldn't sleep at night due to how noisy the cars were, but that's hard to control
- Sohaib (7/5): Good - INDEPENDENT, NO DISTURBANCE, SELF-MANAGEABLE, BEST FOR A COUPLE, I GUESS. OVERALL, IT'S A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE, BUT THERE ARE SOME ISSUES OF NOISE, THE PROPERTY IS ADJUNCENT TO THE MAIN ROAD (FLYOVER) SO IT IS A BIT NOISY. WIFI IS NOT GOOD AT ALL.
- Jan (5/5): Decent place to stay, but the smell is bad - Pretty big by Tokyo standards, elevator, close to rainbow bridge, quiet, decent bed. About 15 minutes walk from the station. Not fancy, but it worked. Very strong sewage smell from kitchen sink. Wifi was strong enough to receive messages but that was all. Not strong enough to load google maps or anything more for our entire stay. Pictures were not the same room we had, but similar.
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant - Modernes Apartment Die Check-in Procedure war katastrophal.
- Dan (5/5): Passable -
- Nictuv (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damien (3/5): Disaapointment - Close to train station, convenience store. Kitchen sink drain smelled like open sewage, property name "Tune Inn Tokyo" made it seem as I was staying at an Inn but to my surprise was an apartment, no restaurants or bars nearby.
- Rotten (6/5): Not so bad - Clean No hot water
- Gallardo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Colima (1/5): Bad - Nothing Impossinly dirty we left immediately
- De (8/5): Very good -
- Allain (9/5): Superb - Very cosy
Handy instructions
Responsive communications Pillows
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Wei (7/5): Good but clearer instructions would be good - The place was nice, the bed was comfortable. It was difficult to get in without clear instructions. I did not know I had to ask for the pin number through the chat and follow the instructions in the guide sent through email. I thought it was a regular hotel where I can check in at the front desk but it was more like an airbnb.
- Don (8/5): A glimpse of tokyo living - Convenience store was relatively close. The washer drier wasnt working. I didnt get the message of the door PIN until i was in transit and had to call to get the PIN in the cold
- Wilson (9/5): Superb -
