- Kelly-ann (10/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): Pleasant stay - It was in a good location Very dark inside .
Chairs uncomfortable
- Brian (10/5): Beautiful cottage - Beautiful colonial era cottage, tasteful appointed throughout, with Don Bradman memorabilia and a fabulous brass bedstead.
Great location with many excellent bars and restaurants on Melbourne Street, close to the parks and the free bus. Only negative is the lack of WiFi.

- Kristina (10/5): - Beautiful heritage cottage with all you need and a wonderful location. Gina's communication about the area was amazing. Highly recommended!

- Meredith (10/5): A very special place - A beautiful Heritage listed property with an equally beautiful garden and outdoor setting. Parking was limited to 3 hours during the day but at night it wasn't an issue
- Fiona (8/5): Very convenient, easy to find and great for our short stay. - Location was great. Parking worked out for us but could possibly be tricky with time limits. The features of the property were lovely.
- Yuxi (8/5): -
- Mary (7/5): Cottage vibes - Loved the parking space and very roomy. Beds are in keeping with property vibe but very hard.
- steven (9/5): -
- Dannielle (7/5): Good 👍🏼 - It was charming! It was tired and a bit unclean. The sink in the bedroom was really smelly and everything could do with a bit of a spring cleanse.
- Lisa (9/5): Fab stay in a gorgeous old sandstone cottage - Warm, cosy, great location, secure parking, quiet, great value, yummy cookie on the table, comfy beds, seamless check in and out, great communication and LOVE the 11am checkout!! Nothing.
- Jamieshaw97 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Marie-louise (8/5): Old world, central charm - Location is excellent close walking distance to North Adelaide shopping and restaurant precinct; easy access to other areas by car being very central. The accommodation is spacious with significant old world charm. Good facilities to make light meals, gather with family, comfy beds and nice towels and linen. While clean to stay in, overall the property feels slightly 'tired' and perhaps needs a review of some of the decorative and antique items to streamline as well as a deep clean / spring clean and tidy up to revitalise and refresh the property. If this was done I think they could be returned to a really beautiful state. These properties are very unique but obviously require attention over time. We've stayed before so we know at least 2 of the residences to make these comments.
- Angela (8/5): Location Location Location - Pretty much everything. Best location, great supermarket at your doorstep, comfy bed, outdoor setting which we used! 2 toilets bonus! Kitchen had everything and more. Short walk to Adelaide Oval, which is why we were there and Pies win!!! Gates to open and shut for car, awkward. Climbing into bathtub for shower, plane noise. Price we paid, pretty much everything in North Adelaide is the same for Gather Round.
- Gerard (4/5): I expected a quirky interior but was dissatisfied with the level of comfort and the age of the bathroom, kitchen fit out - Very spacious Light globes out in kitchen, no ice in freezer, it doesn’t look like any improvements have been made to the property for decades, poor collection of glassware.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Location and all services provided in the cottage No issues
- Michele (10/5): Delightful stay in North Adelaide - Great location, beautifully decorated heritage property
- Kelly (8/5): Lovely little stay nice comfy and cosy - Nice and cosy not to far away from shops and restaurants Clean and great spa
- Yueh-chia (10/5): Enjoy the uniqueness and exceptional details for the property - The uniqueness and exceptional details for the decorations
- Margaret (8/5): Just a lovely pleasant place - Location, is excellent. A beautiful historical cottage. Clean has everything you need. The only thing is having a shower in the bath tub, my old knees don’t like to lift that high anymore.
- Johnathon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Good location that was not far from the concert we went to. The house was nicely decorated and comfortable, felt like a - Easy location and beautifully decorated Nothing
- Rebecca (10/5): We appreciated the opportunity to stay in such a lovely home. - I loved the homely feel. Loved the character and the furniture. It was a lovely touch.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (8/5): Misleading location and information, but a pleasant stay. - The stay was clean and welcoming. Very informative with all the heritage and antiques in the rooms along. There was information and leaflets about the area provided aswell. The heated kitchen floors was a nice treat.
The self check in was clear and easy to follow, it was also easy to find the location. Overall an enjoyable stay for the type of accommodation it is. Unfortunately the listing itself is misleading. The address/location in the actual listing seems to be the base for the multiple apartments the group has all over North Adelaide. Which was very inconvenient and disappointing, we were hoping to stay where the pin is in the listing but instead we were almost 3km on the other side of the city. It is NOT made clear that our apartment seems randomly picked from their properties (We got the 'cafe' apartment in Melbourne street) and we were only told of this a few days before the booking at which time we could not cancel or reschedule without fees. We called the contact information provided but no one answered at any time. Please update the information so that other people don't find themselves in the same situation. What if you needed to be close to the hospital and suddenly you were over the other side of the city? Not good enough.
There was only timed street parking available, once again not made clear in the listing.
There was also no dining table of any kind. Even just a small outside patio table would be appreciated. The closest thing we had was a small desk that was covered in a plethora of stuff that we couldn't really move. A small thing, but very inconvenient.
The guest book was also full.
- Springer (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (10/5): We did not want to leave, absolutely perfect stay for us and we are quite excited to return again. - The set up of the room was amazing,
A very romantic quick getaway perfect for my wife and I. Some noise during the night as the bed head is close to the road however still pleasant and we did not have any issues sleeping.
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable, good location for our visit Gates to car parking area were hard to open and close.
- Kerry (6/5): Enjoyed the location & decor but we were let down by the lack of contact when we needed it. - This property is in a great location, we were able to walk to more places we wanted to go. The decor was attractive and the bed was comfortable. We had a mishap while during our stay and despite the welcome letter providing two phone numbers and encouraging us to make contact at any time, when we needed help one number was not available and the other only offered voicemail. Whatever you do, don't lock yourself out as there is no plan B. Also there was no wifi which we found unacceptable.
- Peter (8/5): Great location couldn't be happier. - Historical Nothing
- Kerry (8/5): Delightful quiet cottage with your own amenities and great access to walking and eating. - The location was great for easy walking and eating. The cottage was delightful in its presentation. The street was reasonably quiet so with the bedroom away from the front it was easy sleeping. The kitchen underfloor heating was just lovely. The front lounge with the gas fire was very comfortable. Climbing in and out of the spa when using the shower. Not suitable for older people or people with mobility problems.
- Nicole (8/5): Very good -
- Sally (8/5): Lovely - quiet, great location and the courtyard - Great location and well stocked
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Seclusion in city Could not get shower, as part of spa to work
- Marie (9/5): Excellent place - This is a very special little place. Loved it all. Its easy access to all you would want. We had a ball Wifi bit weak. Got used to the planes. None of this outshone the stay however
- Hamish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chelsea (8/5): Lovely little getaway from the country to the city for a concert. - Location location location! Central to all our needs and the Mexican restaurant next door was divine.
Treated myself to a foot massage a few door down and a lovely market was being held just off Melbourne Street. The aircon was a little loud and I was afraid of locking myself out but was pre warned to have the key on me at all times.
- Kelly-ann (9/5): Superb - The bed the spa That we had to leave
- Marta (10/5): Loved spending our wedding night there - Bed, spa, courtyard, decor
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - It was unique to ne around antiques and sleeping in a chapel There were noisy people outside on weekend nights talking loudly in early hours of the morning
- Jen (8/5): Regina went above and beyond . The best host I have ever encountered -
- Linda (4/5): Didn’t enjoy the stay at all - Location was good We stayed at the converted chapel and it was very unsettling and creepy - maybe good for somebody but just not us
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Kelly-ann (9/5): Superb - The comfortable bed
- Candice (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (7/5): Great. We just needed a place to stay and it served our purposes perfectly. - Was a great little house. The location didn't concern us that much we just needed a 2 bedroom apartment, but it was a good spot with lots of pubs and cafes etc nearby. Very quaint.
- Sophie (8/5): Very good -
- Du (9/5): Nice place in a great location - Location was excellent
- James (7/5): Relaxing but confusing. - Fantastic location. Nice little cottage in a great area. We were lucky to run into a gentleman to help us out to find the place and to get in to it. We had trouble finding the “office” We stayed at a different address than advertised. No assistance from staff to find the place.
- Derek (9/5): Superb -
- Shaw (7/5): Good - TV remote doesn’t work and shower ran hot & cold
- John (7/5): Good -
- Martin (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Great stay but parking was difficult - Spa and comfort Parking
- James (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - location , space parking
- Lithgow (9/5): Superb - The ambience was beautiful and perfect for our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. ❤️
Lovely music was playing and the lights were styled for our arrival to create a magical atmosphere.
It was comfortable, clean and carefully decorated. The courtyard gave a lovely spacious and serene feel.
- Busbridge (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Quirky, beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. - Beautifully and tasteful restoration.
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): wonderful ❤️ - beautiful welcoming feeling 💗 nothing
- Cory (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Tracey (7/5): Lovely but the spar - Loved the space and area. We tried to used the spar in the morning and would not work for us.
We had used it the night beforehand. It work very well we could hear water dripping. Not sure if that is related
- Sarah (9/5): Cozy staycation with creature comforts - Incredible location, surprisingly quiet for the proximity to Melbourne Street. I wish there was a hair dryer.
- O (10/5): Well presented, nice secluded location close to Adelaide and surrounds - Great plenty to choose from clean quiet location all amenities close by
- Lesley (8/5): overall loved it for a short visit - old and worlde and location rooms a little small
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Nathaniel (10/5): a beautiful place to stay - the location nothing
- Andrew (7/5): Good - Very comfy bed, nice setting and great shower pressure It was hot so needed air-conditioning. The unit had to be 40 years old and very noisy. It worked but hard to sleep with the tractor engine running. Would be good to have wire screen on back door for fresh air while sleeping. The shower head keeps falling, it needs replacing. For the price, the fit out is tired. Needs a psint and an upgrade.
- Veronica (8/5): Great loc8 - The accommodation was excellent, comfortable bed, great spa bath. The reception staff were friendly and professional. The cleaner came 40 minutes before check out. He did not knock just attempted to unlock the door which was unlocked but bolted, so he locked us in. We had to try explaining this through the locked door. We had just got out of the spa so it was a stressful end to our visit. Which otherwise was fantastic.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (8/5): A lovely spot - We had a glorious stay. The spa was wonderful. The bed comfortable. The cosiness of the cottage was lovely and we were surprised how little we heard from the busy road. The neighbours are required to walk past the kitchen window to get to their door, it doesn't have a choice about covering the window. (Eg A blind)
Everything else was thought of.
- John (10/5): Perfect spot to relax after enjoying Adelaide’s attractions. - A very comfortable and quaint cottage furnished in the traditional period style. Very convenient location. Relaxing and quiet spot.
- Talahna (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Debra (8/5): Very good -
- Prudence (8/5): Very good -
- Jagdeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nevan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jo (8/5): Very good - The old world feel. The clear instructions from the host and the friendliness. The fact that as a couple we couldn't cosy up on a lounge next to one another and the interior is very dark. Even during the day.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergey (9/5): Superb - Convenient location in a quiet upscale area. A short drive away from cafes and shops and close to the main sights too. The cottage's got everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
- Carlene (6/5): Pleasant -
- Steve (10/5): North Adelaide heritage cottages and apartments made our short stay-cation one to remember - We absolutely loved our stay the cottage was beautiful/cozy and furnished with lovely antique furniture. The spa is great after a walk up Melbourne st for a lovely dinner. And the private court yard is a great place to have a coffee and breakfast before you leave feeling relaxed and refreshed 👌 Having to leave
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good - Location was great
- Gaye (9/5): Nth Adelaide Charm and Comfort - Charming, quiet, private, fantastic location, very clean. Comfortable bed. Owners very helpful.
Very thoughtful to have provided milk, teabags, sugar and coffee. Nothing really. Two small improvements would be an electric blanket for the downstairs bed.
Salt and pepper in the cupboard. Perhaps a small amount of olive oil & vinegar. Just those couple of basics.
- Cody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (5/5): Passable - Close to shops The cottage had a build up of gas from the fireplace and when we woke up our faces were puffy and blocked noses. The walls had salt damp as well which was an unpleasant smell.
- Hayden (9/5): Superb -
