Район респектабельный. Меня больше заинтересовала архитектура и дизайн отеля, номер очень просторный и очень стильно обставлен, крова и матрац 10+, большие окна в сад, своя кухня и постирочная - это очень удобно для стирки после тренировок, в отелях прачечная зачастую не быстро отдает вещи до 3 дней, а здесь все свое. Гуля-администратор очень заботилась о нашем проживании. Однозначно, вернусь еще, если буду в Стамбуле. В моем номере подтекала душевая кабина, но это не особо меня беспокоило. Больше ничего.

The owner is kind and welcoming, making guests feel at home. The house is beautifully renovated, very clean, with fresh white towels and sheets, and a lovely kitchen with charming tiles and dishes. Staying here feels nostalgic, peaceful, and full of soul—like visiting your grandmother’s beautiful old home. There is no TV, and guests are expected to care for and tidy their room themselves, with towels changed every three days. However, this home-like style may actually be part of the charm for many visitors.

• Peggy (9/5): Istanbul ist toll. Wir kommen wieder :-) - Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und toll eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber ist hilfsbereit und steht als Ansprechpartner für Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind groß und der Blick in den Garten ist wunderschön. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen., bzw. selbst auch wieder hier her kommen. Zudem ist die Lage angenehm ruhig und man erreicht andere Ausflugsziele gut per Bahn oder Bus. Es gibt zudem ein schönes kleines Cafe gleich um die Ecke

• Deniz (9/5): Was a nice experience - It feels like staying at home instead of a hotel, all the art work and the architecture around is amazing. Feels like a time capsule taking you to 70s. My room was perfect, super cozy and lots of space. No noise coming from outside, from street, super silent. Location of the hotel is also really convenient. Instead of having a touristic experience, if you want to feel like a local, staying at home in a good neighborhood i would totally suggest. Definetely will come back Bathroom would definetely need some small renovations. There is not any black out curtains, it gets really bright in the morning

• Bruno (9/5): Human and calm experience in Istanbul - The hotel is located in a fantastic neighborhood with many restaurants, cafés and supermarkets accessible by foot. I have been to Istanbul before, but this was my first time at Fenerbahçe, which I found a most pleasurable place to stay if one is looking for a more relaxed stay away from the hectic touristic center of the city. The common areas of the hotel are decorated in a vintage style, but the room itself was very comfortable, modern and well equipped. The hotel is managed directly by its owner, who is a very kind and accommodating person. He upgraded our room because we were traveling with our toddler, so as to make us more comfortable. Similarly, he allowed as a late checkout with not questions asked. We felt that the whole experience was very human and quite different from the impersonal and homogenized way one is treated in chain hotels.

• Burak (8/5): Nostalgic , old / modern combined boutique hotel in a quiet street with top location pros - Top location and stone throw distance to all the cafes & restaurants , owned by Yavuz who is very helpful and accommodating. The place is full of antique furnitures and good art as well as the rooms are modern and clean . Very interesting concept, the history , the past and the presence combined together . It is located on the street where I grew up so that was a nostalgic and emotional stay for me. Rooms have pretty much everything you need and designed with a good taste of an artist . Highly recommended…. Staff can’t speak a single word of English for foreign visitors so be prepared to communicate in body language when Yavuz is not around .

The air conditioning was not running while I access the room. The communication woth the smiling staff was not easy due to language barrier but they were really supportive. We were locked out on arrival with no one at reception (despite booking.com stating 24 hour front desk). Had to get a passing local to phone someone to let us in. Then put in wrong room (no garden view or AC as stated on booking confirmation). There were no proper curtains so light came in the room at sunrise. Very annoying. No safety deposit box in room despite the confirmation saying there was . All in all very, very unsatisfactory. In fact there was no one at front desk at any time during our 3 day stay to talk to. Would never think about a return visit.

Great location, too, right by the sea and a short walk from lots of lovely restaurants and parks etc. Would have appreciated a water filter system in the lobby/public area, because often I came back late without having been able to find an open shop and there was no staff or bottled water available, which was problematic since you can't drink the tap water.

• Dmytro (8/5): It's a nice play to stay during your visit, but don't expect too much. - The place definitely has an authentic feel. It's very clean, but the renovations are a bit dated. The water pressure was good, the wifi signal was strong, and the bed was comfortable. The view of the garden is nice, and the are a lot of cats napping around which is definitely a plus. The kitchen is well equipped and only lacks a couple of things. The bedroom needs a blackout curtain/a blind - it gets super bright in the morning, and the current curtains don't help. The choice of pillows could be a bit better. The bed cover is too small for two people to fit comfortably. A toaster would be appreciated in the kitchen. Bathrooms require some freshening up to feel a bit more modern.

• Sibylle (5/5): Great location near the marina. - Location is excellent. I grew up in Fenerbahce and have relatives nearby. Not a single drawer in the two rooms. We had to live off our suitcases. One room had a clothes closet with no drawers, the other had no closet or drawers, only a couple of hooks. There was no breakfast, only a tea or coffee which we did not use.

Bununla birlikte; binanın mimari yapısı, içerisinin retro dekorasyonu ve her odanın benzersiz olması çok etkileyiciydi. Temizlik gayet yerindeydi ve her şey standart olarak yeterliydi. 5 yıldızlı otel deneyimi yaşamaktan ziyade; yeterli bir konaklama deneyimi yaşayıp bunu sahip olduğu atmosfer ve sanat koleksiyonu özelinde nişleştirmek bizim için öncelikliydi… Bunu fazlasıyla hissettiğimiz bir konaklama yaşadık. Değerli Yavuz Pilevneli’ye ilgisi ve nezaketi için ayrıca çok teşekkür ederiz…

Alot of light flooding in from outside. The landlord is awesome. There's a mini Carrefour around the corner to do some shopping and cook when you get back to the appartment.

The heating pipe system is external and the room got very hot even when radiators were turned off. it was uncomfortable to be in the room for any length of time. The bar area was closed. The coffee was poor. My room was unsecure as the window that opened up the hallway did not close. If i had anything of value in the room, I would have been uncomfortable leaving.

The room we stayed in was cozy and immaculately clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Istanbul. One of the highlights of our stay was the location. Situated in the charming neighborhood of Fenerbahçe, the pension offered easy access to local cafes, restaurants, and shops, allowing us to experience the authentic Istanbul lifestyle. The proximity to the waterfront was also a big plus, providing stunning views and pleasant evening walks. • Deniz (10/5): Exceptional - As someone who lived about 30 years in Istanbul, I can definitely recommend this pension, since it preserves İstanbul's lost local atmosphere. Spacious and clean, with lots of vintage local furniture and good communication, this is now the top one of our favorite places to stay in Istanbul.
