• Роман Соловьев (9/5): - Номер 205 оформлен в национальном колорите - очень красиво и комфортно. Большая кровать с удобным матрасом и чистым постельным бельем. Телевизор, чайник, система кондиционирования, wi-fi, горячая вода - всё работало отлично. Был свой хамам - теплые мраморные стены и лавки. Банные халаты и приветственные сладости. Завтрак проходил наверху, на террасе с великолепным видом на море и на голубую мечеть. На завтрак изобилие тортов и сладостей. Персонал доброжелательный. Все двери в отеле с бесконтактным открытием. Отель находится в 5 минутах пешком от голубой мечети и в 10 минутах от мечети София. На завтрак вообще не было мяса (бекон, сосиски). В своем личном хамаме не предусмотрен пар.

When booking, I indicated the wrong card, but he resolved the issue with this, also gave us a room better than I wanted. All hotel staff are friendly. Many thanks to all the staff, kitchen, cleaning, reception. Unfortunately I do not know all the names, mr Ramazan and Goka, you made our holiday wonderful.

• Alice Young (10/5): Great location, very clean and comfortable room, helpful staff. - The hotel is in a great location close to many attractions in the Old City eg. Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel helped us to organize transfer from the airport. The breakfast buffet was fantastic - great selection and it was located on the top floor of the hotel and has fantastic view. There are many restaurants nearby. We chose a 2 bedroom apartment with a courtyard and it had a small kitchen with a washing machine and dryer (which is much appreciated!)

• Sabra (4/5): Disappointing and hostile. - The location was terrific, in the old city near the Blue Mosque. When we checked into the hotel we were told 75% of the bill had to be paid in cash, and 25% by credit card. It was asserted this condition was contained in the emailed confirmation of the booking. I checked the emailed booking, it said nothing about cash payments. When settling the account the receptionist refused to accept the American dollars we had, as some 'were old cash notes'. We'd gone to great lengths to get the money, withdrawing it over several days because of cash limits. They were legal and had watermarks. The receptionist still did not want this money and suddenly said 100 per cent payment by card would now be acceptable. We disagreed, as we'd gone to the trouble (and extra cost) to get the cash. The hotel did would not accept it, so again, at our expense and trouble we exchanged the 'old' legal notes for newer ones. This was wrong and left a bad impression. I would not recommend this hotel.

• Janna (7/5): So So - The location is great. Walking distance to the grand bazaar, Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. On booking.com I opted for one room with double bed and second room with twin beds. We were give two rooms, each with double bed. A room with twin beds was not available. On booking.com I opted to pay at the property. On arrival they informed me that I have to pay in cash. Despite my request they did not allow me to pay by card. Due to limit on cash withdrawal I had to draw money from cash machine over three days to make up the required amount.

Many cafes around the property. Many variety of breakfast menu and the taste are good. The restaurant has nice view. Some staff didn’t speak English but that’s not an issue.

The access to the property through the stairs can be improved but it’s a small thing. Once you are inside the property, it’s lovely.

Very convenient to walk to tram station where you can access a a number of ports to catch a boat to kadikoy the Asian side and also the opposite direction towards Taksim. Lovely and cosy hotel apartment and well decorated. The private Hammond within the flat was an extra bonus. Was very much enjoyed by the family. Highly recommend for families, girlies weekend to small groups.

• Neal (9/5): Great hotel for the price. we weren’t that impressed by the afternoon tea- but it was free, so what can you expect. the - Location was perfect for the major sites. We walked to the Hagia Sophia at night as well as toured during the day as it was so close. We could walk to the tram and bazaar from here. The restaurants around the hotel were a little aggressive, but it is what to be expected. We stayed in a room with a built in Hammam, and couldn't figure out if it could be turned off, so we were a little hot at night.

• Mohansaraj (9/5): Nice place. Nice people. Nice location. Nice view. - Our room came with a Hamam. It was just nice for a young family.The sofa beds were comfortable. Hamam was superb and a must during winter. Breakfast was typical Turkish style with a grand view of Ayasofia, Blue Mosque on one side and the Bosphorus on the other. we had complimentary cookies and baklava in the room. Muhammad was very warm and hospitable. He was patient and helpful and very reliable. The afternoon snacks are quite basic. Nothing to dislike.

Overall a very nice place to stay in Istanbul and so handy to the old city. I booked the apartment as it had a kitchenette included. However, we were unable to even make our own breakfast as there was was cutlery or crockery. There was a hob but no saucepans.

• Aggelos (7/5): Good - we had the family suite in the ANEX building which had two major issues; a) according to the website it is on the ground floor but it reality it is on underground! you should go down in the stairs in order to enter the room and if you are in the kitchen you can see from the window that you are below the level of the main street! the second and most important issue is a terrible smell that was in one of the two bathrooms. i think that it came from the sewerage. we mention that in the reception but they didn't do anything to fix it or either to propose us a different room

It's in the best location. 5 mins' walking distance to lots of amazing restaurants and 10 mins away from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. I booked the family room which was beautiful with enough space. The master bedroom has a kitchen which has a dryer, washing machine, and sofa to relax. The best thing about this hotel is its staff and the service. The housekeeping lady always keeps some treats for you when she is done cleaning the room. Staff is always one call away and always ready to help. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Istanbul. First morning i had to take shower with freezing cold water as the water heater was off. But instantly they came and fixed that too.
• Ian (9/5): Superb - Great location, very close for walking to the Blue Mosque and surrounding. Wi-Fi was pretty bad, they ask for payment in half cash, no microwave to reheat leftover food from the restaurants.
• Zahid (7/5): 🫰 - Location was good. Facilities were great. Loved the ambience. Their was only control for the central heating in the room, so it was boiling hot. The beds were a little uncomfortable as the mattress dipped in some places, and it was a problem for both me and my other family members.
• Muammar (9/5): Top notch for Budget hotel - The hotel is very much comfortable, surrounded by a lot of restaurant and souvenir shops! It has view of Blue Mosque which is stunning. Very near to attractive place like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia mosque etc. My room was upgraded to the biggest room which is the terrace 😊. The facilities were complete which included Netfix and Youtube. They served also free Baklava, cookies, very delicious. The internet was very good. The staff was very helpful, shout out to Mr Ramazan who help to carry our luggages until the top floor by himself. Thank you Mr Ramazan. No elevator, but it's ok, the staff can help you with your luggage. No bidet

• Jacqueline (9/5): great location but can be a bit noisy from the generator - room clean nice space and free water, tea, coffee and biscuits available. In the morning no hot shower, because of powercuts they said and they forgot to check :( And the noise of the generator was loud just under our room (room 103 with two bedrooms) and powercuts were of and on all the time.
• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - nice and cosy room. The bed was so comfortable and soft. quite location. receptionist was super friendly and helpful!!! I’ve stayed at the best point hotel after I’ve had a really bad experience with a 4 starts hotel in a slight different location and I thought that my holiday is ruined but stay in the best point old city changed that situation. I had a private hamam in the room 🤩 nice and warm. and special thanks 🙏 to the receptionist for all recommendations for the places to visit.

• Tasneem (7/5): Not value for money. - They have cleaning services in the apartment suites They didn’t put toilet paper in the bathroom when it ran out. Breakfast is nice but not as advertised in the pictures. It’s kind of misleading and expensive for what you actually get. They are located in the Saltanahmet area where the locals exploit tourist.
• Lina (10/5): Exceptional - We are very pleased with our stay at Best Point Suites in Old city of Istanbul. We chose the place for the location but we were surprised with the warmest welcome and the kindest staff service one could imagine. They were all so nice and cooperative all the time from the receptionist through the piccolo, the guys in the parking lot and everybody else working at the hotel.
