• Paulien Esmee (10/5): Aanrader - De kamer/appartement is heel ruim, het uitzicht echt prachtig en het personeel is enorm vriendelijk. Het is een kwartiertje lopen naar El Poblado. Korte afstand, alleen door de heuvel is het iets pittiger. Uiteraard was dit vooraf wel bekend, maar goed om rekening mee te houden.
• Liliana (10/5): Amazing place! - An absolutely incredible apartment hotel in a quiet lush neighborhood Las Lomas - about a 15min walk to the touristy Provenza part of El Poblado. Staff are super friendly, helpful and very attentive to all your needs - they went above & beyond. Once we entered our room - we were captivated by the view. We also very much loved all the details & focus on wellness, simplicity, mindful spaces, and a good night's sleep- a very unique, curated & elevated experience - truly a beautiful concept for slow intentional living and travelling. Very spacious room, can choose to cook your own food or simply enjoy all the top restaurants around the hotel, especially the Parilla across the street for tasty meat dishes, Lucilda Alimentari for delicous fresh Italian, and Al Alma Café downstairs for a fresh and delicious breakfast/brunch. The bathroom has an amazing rain shower. If this is your vibe then Hotel Seissta is by far the best way to enjoy your stay while exploring Medellin. The terrace was a sweet bonus to enjoy the mountains, songbirds, and twinkling lights in the distance. Truly a gem of a place! Everything was great!
• Megi (10/5): Perfekt! - Es war alles perfekt. Standort, Apartment, Service einfach top. Das Hotel ist sehr auf einen gesunden Lifestyle ausgerichtet für Stressabbau, Fitness, gute Ernährung. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und fas Frühstück im Restaurant nebenan unglaublich gut ! Wir könnten uns hier sogar einen langen Aufenthalt vorstellen. Beim nächsten Medellinbesuch kommen wir sehr gerne wieder ! Alles top nur 2 kleine Anmerkungen: - es hat keine manuelle Duschköpfe (dafür ne geile Regendusche haha) - wir empfehlen noch einen grossen Ganzkörperspiegel hinzuzufügen an das Hotel

La limpieza del lugar y amplitud del baño, demasiado espectacular.

• Hilmar (9/5): - Looked new, good location and good staff. If you stay on the lower levels you will hear noise from the gym. But if you tell the staff then they will move you higher up in the building.
• Rafn (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay, the room was big, comfortable and nicely decorated, and the views were amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as good as it could get. It's a nice place to stay if you want to be in a safe area very close to El Poblado but have some peace and quiet when you get home at night. It's a little bit up the hill from El Poblado so it's a bit of a hike to walk back, but the Ubers are very cheap and available so it didn't bother us, but something to keep in mind.

Location wasn’t as walkable as some other locations in Poblado (mainly only walking back from Poblado because of the uphill walk, but walking down was okay), but Ubers were quick, inexpensive and easy. No A/C in the main living area (A/C was strong and great in the bedrooms), but due to the elevation of the location and ability to open doors/windows, the breeze and temperature were cool enough to be comfortable and enjoyable (a breeze was frequently present that made the apartment EXTREMELY comfortable).

Schoon en modern hotel met een prachtige view over de stad vanaf de 13e etage. Ruim appartement. We kregen maar 1 kleine (was) handdoek voor 2 personen. Achteraf gezien bleek dat overal zo te zijn. Boven de deur is er een best grote opening/ speling. WT ervoor zorgt dat geluid van de gang gewoon te horen is op de kamer. Dit zorgt voor weinig privacy. Kan makkelijk aangepast worden door het kozijn iets de verlagen of met een strip of dergelijke. Daar moet wel echtniets aan gedaan worden

• Aaron (5/5): Won’t stay here ever again. Disrespectful, rude, and aggressive staff. - Nice location, good cafe and gym. Most of staff are nice. Got the nastiest attitude and disrespect from an employee working overnight here. A young man who I hadn’t seen in my entire time being there. For some reason he thought he could disrespect me and talk to me aggressively because I walked in with a guest. I didn’t know that the staff here pays my hotel stay. He had an attitude and inferred that she was a sex worker. Were both from the United States. I don’t care what you feel, you treat customers with the utmost respect. You don’t know us and to suggest anything like that is wildly disrespectful. The rest of the stay was just awkward and I couldn’t wait to leave. At one point I was committed to staying here for all of my future stays but I will never step foot in this place again. They lost a customer forever.

My family was unable to - They don’t allow visitors and I didn’t find that out until my family came to visit me. There’s not a sign in the hotel, there’s not a sign online that’s easy to find or see and they stand on their policy

• Jacob (9/5): Would stay again. - Great, safe, fairly quiet location. Staff was friendly and attached restaurant is fantastic. It's not luxury but the room was spacious, the ac worked great, the shower was amazing, and the bed was comfy. The balcony was large and made the room worth it. Only minor complaints is that hallway noise can be a bit loud, and I wish there had been a small table and chair or two inside the room for eating at.

I also appreciated that they had a washer/dryer laundry unit available in the basement. This is small but I wish they gave a coffee pod per person per night.

Highly recommend this property Had a slight issue on our first visit as our apartment was above the gym . The fantastic staff on the front desk immediately moved us to a higher floor

There are new rules and on booking it doesn't provide all the rules. My working staff or anyone is allowed upstairs to the unit. Unless you pay a premium rate.

• Alejandro (10/5): Some of the best views from all of medellin - Superb location, fantastic staff and an enormous value. The decor, furniture were very thoughtfully put together. The views from the penthouse were simply unreal! The only downside, is they didn't have a full length mirror in the the enormous penthouse.... Aside from that, it was truly incredible! Oh, and, the cafe downstairs is not very good but that doesn't have anything to do with the hotel. I didn't like the cafe becuase it was overpriced and they sold me a stale/soggy croissant because and not having a full length mirror was also a bit annoying.

I’ve stayed in hotels and apartments all over Medellin, including several boutique hotels in El Poblado, and Be Mate is easily the best.

My main concern with this hotel is that they have a very strict “no guest” policy and do not seem amenable to making exceptions for any reason. We (my partner and I) have a close friend in Medellin whom we were visiting for the holidays, and they would not let him up to the room for even a couple hours so we could get ready to go out. They told us we should stay downstairs in the restaurant, but the restaurant closes at 7:00pm. Finally, I asked for a wake-up call that was never received. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay here and would not return.

• Aycox (10/5): Exceptional - There's only two or three rooms on the floors the decks and the views are amazing the staff is very professional especially the night staff Jonathan Oquendo amazing helped me in with multiple immigration and real estate important matters and very difficult situations. Definitely knowledgeable a true assest to the hotel. With an employee like Jonathan I can see why the hotel doesn't have a concierge on on staff because they really do Factor already have one! Another superior service oriented Gentleman is Sebastian Bocanument who I'd remember from before which was also an excellent classy and knowledge of so many things about the city my favorite hotel in Medellin the prices going up with holidays fluctuating I'm in there a couple of the configurations make it easy to bang into a bed or Bang into like where it's a little tight at certain places but I love to be made I always return here when I'm in Medellin! Some of the angles in the units make it easy to bang a shin or a forehead you've got a good start ingredients
