The place was very quiet and peaceful, and the location was perfect for attending a nearby wedding. There were a few little animals around the house, which added to the experience, and the fireplace was especially nice on the cold night. It felt a little spooky at night, but overall it was a lovely and enjoyable stay.

• Hanna Usin (10/5): - We loved the small gesture- a small strawberry gin and soda water, it was very tasty. Our chalet Chardonnay was easy to find and we had no hassle getting into the house. The surroundings is amazing and the best part is that you feel it is just you there with vineyards and kangaroos. Other chalets are not so close. The jacuzzi in the back was awesome! House is very charming and has everything you need for good times.

• Antonio (8/5): Good but could have been great - Location and vista. Could have been cleaner upon arrival. Place needs a deep clean and not just a sweep between bookings. Television didn't work due to a broken wall antenna outlet. Microwave was left dirty. An umbrella on site would have been useful. Jacuzzi would have been more inviting if cleared of leaves and debris. An outside power point would have been nice to charge my electric vehicle if need be.

• Peter (10/5): - Everything about our stay was brilliant, clean, comfortable and quiet and a brilliant location. Near to everything we wanted to visit. The soda and gin was a nice thoughtful touch. There was nothing not to like, but a suggestion would be to have some insect repellent or bite cream as the wife was troubled by these and we had forgotten ours so she suffered a bit.

• Nicole (10/5): Perfect for a writing retreat - Beautiful location and very comfortable accomodation. Gin and liquor tastings just down the hill. Outside table was large and a great place for me to do my writing. No wifi and mobile reception is average - plan accordingly.

• Leanne (10/5): Fabulous - It was perfectly situated for us as we were attending our nephew's wedding at Margaret River's Secret Garden. Also a quick drive to Vasse Village for shops etc. The one bedroom bungalow was definitely bigger than we were expecting.

• Constanza (8/5): Beautiful and calm - The landscape around the place is lovely. The sauna is amazing and makes you feel very relaxed. Some of the dishes were very dirty, which isn’t the first time this has happened. There was also too much noise on the roof throughout the night, probably from possums or other animals.

Felt very private and secluded, no direct neighbours, but still close to all surrounding wineries. The chalet kitchen had everything we needed, even a Nespresso coffee machine. Would book again in a heartbeat 😊 Nothing not to like

Location was beautiful in a patch of forest among all the vineyards. Easy access to Margaret River attractions. House was a little chilly. There is no WiFi available.

The Chardonnay Chalet was secluded, quiet and the photos didn’t do it justice! The owners have listened to all the reviews and have significantly updated the place. It’s very spacious and comfortable. Great amenities and a complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. Will definitely be back! Loved everything! Would recommend a small bin for the bathrooms and a deep clean just to remove some cobwebs and dust on skirting boards and windowsills.
• Kimberley (9/5): Perfect weekend!! We will be back as soon as we can. - Incredible location. Chalet was gorgeous. Watching the sunrise over the vineyard from the jacuzzi was quite something. The fire place kept us warm on some very cold nights. There was no internet or wifi service or signal. But if you want a quiet weekend with no netflix or people contacting you- it will be perfect.

• Donna (8/5): Perfect getaway for couples or families at Chalet Chardonnay - Great property in a peaceful and fairly secluded location, surrounded by forest and vineyards - just what we were after. All the small details were taken care of including laundry liquid, tea, coffee, milk and sugar and even a welcome bottle of red - perfect! The jacuzzi was a huge hit for the kids and adults equally. The bedrooms were welcoming and beds comfortable. The lounge area had a gas fire which warmed everywhere beautifully as it was super cold a night. The cooking facilities and dishwasher worked well and the hot water was plentiful with great pressure. We will definitely stay here again. There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay at this property however be mindful if travelling with kids that there is no wifi available for streaming movies on the TV. Internet reception was good.

• Kirsty (8/5): A wonderful quiet and cosy getaway in a great location. - We stayed in the Bungalow for three nights. We wanted peace and quiet, with an open fire and a bath. We got all of that. The location was fabulous and so quiet at night. It had everything we needed. Plenty of room for two and very well laid out. It was easy to visit various places we wanted to see because it was so central. The staff in the Distillary were lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. A little dated and in need of some TLC. The kitchen could have been better equipped. It felt as though it had been kitted out from an Op Shop. Four large frying pans, but no small one, in a cottage available for only 2 people. The instructions for some of the equipment, like the fire, were not for the Bungalow.

We absolutely loved the jacuzzi which was the reason why I booked this accommodation. We would definitely stay here again. Great location too! The place itself is clean and we had no issues at all. It had everything we needed, all the basics. It just really needs an update (A lick of paint, new flooring, curtains and furniture would do wonders). However, the price is reflective of the condition and we thought it was a great price and we had a great stay!
