- Natasha (9/5): Great location, great view and lovely clean apartment - Great location and a nice clean modern appartment with everything you need The loo in our bathroom was quite noisy so didn’t like to use at night incase it was noisy fjr below tenant’s. It was like an aeroplane loo !
- Pat (9/5): Great Place - Clean location excellent
- Michelle (10/5): Felicity was a great host and very accommodating and her apartment was well appointed with everything you needed in a pe - Great location
Clean and tidy
Spacious
Felicity was super accommodating Nothing
- Melissa (9/5): Had a great relaxing time, with plenty of room in the unit and easy access to the beach and pubs etc - The location was fantastic! So close to the beach and eateries etc. We only used our car once in the 2 weeks. Pool was small, but I appreciate that it cant be changed.
- Cathy (9/5): - Great location Nothing
- Peter & Thea (10/5): Location Location Location -
- Julie (9/5): Good but could be better for the money you pay - The position, the view the facilities the beds were very comfortable The lounge was terribly stained and very very uncomfortable. The coffee cups were stained we had to go and buy our own
- Dean (6/5): Too much road noise - Great location and staff were very helpful The noise from the road was overwhelming. It would start at 4:15am with rubbish trucks and deliveries, could never get a sleep in, it was 7 days a week
- Cathy (9/5): - The position of apartments Pool closing at 8pm
- Toni (10/5): - The view is amazing.
Central to everything.
Management staff Felicity was wonderful. Went out of her way to help us. Nothing we didn't like. Although the rooms could be updated as furniture and decor is very old.
- Pauline (10/5): A great place to stay, would highly recommend to all. - Fantastic view of the beach. Walking distance to all amenities eg. shops and restaurants. The unit was nicely renovated and very clean, nice pool and spa. The staff were extra friendly and supportive. Nothing
- Robert (4/5): - N/A General condition of unit . Doors off Cupboads, Dra
ws in kitchen would not close. Glass ware and crockery in kitchen not up to scratch. Air conditioner needs a serious maintenance service.
- Angie (9/5): Amazing week away, perfect location, can’t wait to return - Location location location - roomy apartment - 2 bathrooms excellent Water pressure, spa not heated. Child scared of local water dragon - all minor - loved our stay
- Leanne (7/5): -
- Keelie (7/5): -
- Julie (7/5): Comfortable - It was very dusty, the ceiling fans were filthy & had to be cleaned ( by me) as my family are asthmatics. On the surface all looked neat & tidy & well laid out... dust was the main problem. Position & views were amazing.
- Lonie (7/5): Pleasant, great to be close to the beach. - Location is great. Lots of good cafes, restaurants and things to do.
Beds are great and the pool was perfect for a windy day or a quick dunk. Cindy, Mgr, was nice and very helpful. Unit#13 The unit is very tired looking. Not a lot of investment has gone into this unit on the owners part. The kitchen & showers (terrible rain shower head) needs a good make over and the ugly old brown carpet needs to be changed. Otherwise a comfortable old fashion unit.
- Simon (9/5): -
- Michael (4/5): Aries nightmare - Great position. Where do I start.
No internet despite being told we had it and it would be fixed....no !!
Water pressure like a light sprinkle of rain....very dirty.
Nothing works, carpet needs replacing, the whole unit needs upgrading.
Or demolished
DO NOT STAY HERE... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
- Carla (10/5): Best location. Look forward to coming back. - Excellent location. Good size kitchen. Roomy with 2 spare beds and separate bathroom which included a bath. Beach toys which came in handy when grandchildren visited. Easy access from car underneath. Next door to shopping centre and central to all great restaurants. Perfect!! Couldn't get the fans to work. Although weather wasn't hot enough to worry us.
- Michael (7/5): Comfortable, but with many irritating minor shortcomings. - Comfortable; good views; sunny; quiet. Reception not staffed; no info on property, apartment or neighbourhood; extra charge for clean linen a bit rich when we had paid over $5,000 for our 3 week stay; TV control near impossible to use and access to Foxtel and other APPS cut out mid stay and could not be recovered; heating control also somewhat of a mystery; no towel rails.
Access to en suite up steps with no handrail was a safety risk
- Lynn (9/5): - View axing and size of room great
- robert (10/5): Aries - a great holiday assured - Location, dining, kids entertainments, beaches, size, views...wonderful! Poor showers, room lighting - maintenance required.
- Vicky (10/5): -
- Cameron (8/5): Lovely spacious apartment would definitely come back and stay again - It was super close to everything, and it was spacious The shower pressure was a bit weak and the hot water seemed to run out often
- Louise (10/5): fun fun fun - Proximity to beach and shops Nothing
- Tony (7/5): Great location and plenty of room in the apartment. - It is very centrally located proving easy access by foot to Coolangatta, Kirra and Rainbow Bay. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and good value for money. The apartment has no A/c or heating other than a small oil heater. I would imagine it would get very uncomfortable in summer and it was rather cool during our stay. You can experience a little road noise at times which is to be expected on Marine Parade
- Dan (3/5): Poor - Location was good. No WiFi, cold spa pool, cleanliness of couches was below expectation.
Apartment is certainly showing its age.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Location Outdated a tad
- Miranda (4/5): Great location, didn't mind it being a little old and tired, but the poor cleaning and itchy lounge - Location and views. Some furniture and window sills had thick layers of dust. Kitchen and bathrooms were old and tired, broken cupboard.
No wifi.
The worst part was feeling itchy after sitting on the lounge, we had to cover it in sheets, so we didn't touch it directly.
- Natarsha (4/5): I wish I did not pay for the deluxe 2 bedroom as the 2 bedroom standard probably is the same thing. - The location was fabulous. The fridge, oven, microwave, hot plates, washing machine and dryer, were all new. Beds seem to quite comfortable. I booked a deluxe room and paid lot extra for the upgrade. The pictures on the internet were not applicable to where we stayed. The internet cable was on the floor half way down the hall. Plumbing tape on kitchen sink. A lot of mould as the ventilation is minimal. No exhaust fans in bathrooms as the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. Couch was very old and dated and dirty. One small TV in Lounge room. TV unit was small and dated. Handrail on balcony needs some repair. Front door was heavy and a parent with a pram or an elderly person with a walking frame would struggle to get through.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Kamila (7/5): Good -
- Neville (9/5): Superb -
- Brett (7/5): Great place to stay with easy access to shops and beaches. - Great location. Central and easy walk to Kirra or Snapper Rocks. Host kindly gave us a ride back to the airport on our last day. Bathrooms were a bit small and restrictive. Watch your step! Lots of tripping hazards due to raised floors throughout unit and onto balcony. Lift broke down last 2 days and we were on the eighth floor.
- Kerry (8/5): Loved it and will definitely stay again and recommend. - The position is awesome. Could not be better. Restaurants, pubs, supermarket, beach all super close by. The apartment although slightly dated was fantastic. Would highly recommend. The view is wonderful. The balcony is fairly small and the shower was difficult to get right. Small issues really.
- Phil (8/5): Was really good, would definitely stay again. - Great location with magnificent views. Very tidy apartment for its age. Could do with some updated furniture.
- Patricia (7/5): Great location value for your money -
- Bernard (7/5): Good - location small swimming pool and garden, noise from people in street at night
- Vicki (9/5): Superb -
- Belinda (10/5): Exceptional - The location and size of unit.
- Ben (9/5): Book this place it’s worth it - The location is perfect. It had an amazing view and all the facilities we needed. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the surf is the best experience. The owner, Cindy, is incredibly nice and made us feel so welcome and always friendly. The room was 14 and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms and the beds weee very comfy. The kitchen has all the things you need to cook and the fridge is large. The tv has all the streaming options and it was easy to use. The noise, only because I’m a light sleeper so I used ear plugs. Being so close to the action I knew it would be. Some apartment guests upstairs were noisy.
- Jacqueline (9/5): I would certainly stay here again. I arrived in need of a break & left so relaxed. - Location was 10/10.
Everything was in walking distance. Operation of Fans. Difficult to operate.
Could have had a couple of outdoor chairs for balcony.
Egg chair was comfortable though.
- Farrelly (9/5): Would definitely return to the property! Awesome location too! -
- Mark (10/5): Outstanding location and accommodation had everything required - Location is outstanding - beachfront and close to everything required - shops, restaurants etc A couple of kitchen items were not clean on arrival.
- Kellie (10/5): Wonderful stay, will definitely be back - Great location… close to everything we needed.
Beds & pillows were super comfortable. Very spacious. Plenty of room & cupboard space. Beautiful views. Staff were very nice. When myself & my family stayed in October. The weather was still a bit cool at times & I needed another blanket but there wasn’t one spare unfortunately.
- Paul (9/5): Very comfortable and definitely would stay again - Old school size and definitely location Wasn’t a dislike old but clean
- Nanette (1/5): Disgusting - Nothing The list is so long
- Amanda (10/5): Had a wonderful holiday staying here with all our family - Great location. Right in the middle of everything & across from beach. Clean & new room Nothing
- Gleeson (8/5): Great location and great access to shops and beach - Great location Very old stove
- Damien (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): great pace to stay with the family - cleanliness, staff were helpful and friendly, location was perfect nothing at all
- Cea (10/5): Fantastic. Will definitely book to stay here again. - Great location and view.
Close to shops and beach.
Friendly staff.
Regular holidays to the area but new to this accommodation- would definitely book again. No vacuum in our room.
- Maliwan (9/5): Superb - We was surprised of the side of the apartment because it was so big and very comfortable, such a good location for everything, love it ,will return next time. Can't find
- Annette (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Terence (7/5): Good -
- Anthony (6/5): Great views but the building is a bit tired. - Great view. Great location in the middle of Coolangatta. Staff were really nice and really helpful. The Building is a bit tired and it’s very noisy. It’s probably 30-40 years old and the interior is pretty much original. It has a quite small balcony with 2 chairs and small round table. Inside it sleeps 5 but there only seating for 3 people at the TV area. It’s quite noisy and could do with double glazing. There is a loading bay opposite and you hear the trucks unloading at the night. We stayed 2 weeks and you have to wash and clean the linen yourself.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location. Clean and tidy. Easy going staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
- Tyre (4/5): Disappointing - Location and view was great
2 br unit would easily accommodate a family of 5 The pool and spa were supposed to be heated which when we asked staff they told us it hasn't been heated for 2 years.
We only received toilet paper, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, sugar etc on the 2nd night after asking the staff as we hadn't received any in check in.
For the price we paid for 2 nights I would have been happier if they had at least offered us a reasonable discount for our stay.
- Darren (9/5): Great central location -
- Janet (10/5): Coolangatta gem hidden in plain sight. - Excellent beachfront position that was central (easy walking distance) to everything- & it had a balcony that you are permitted to smoke on (hard to find these days) which was a great vantage point to look at the ocean all the way to Surfers, & watch both the goings on down the beach & all the cool cars cruising by. Pity it's booked out for Cooly Rocks in June. Couldn't fault anything other than both rooms not having double beds (we were two couples in our 60's)- it had old school charm but we liked that a lot, really allowed you to kick back & properly relax, something you never really achieve in posh places. Even though the weather was awesome, the pool was too cold to swim in for us oldies but that's only because we're in Autumn now. We're only from Labrador up the road but Coolangatta still feels like a holiday away.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Keren (9/5): Superb -
- Nataliya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beverley (8/5): Very good -
- Hall (7/5): Good -
- Jessika (10/5): Amazing location - Amazing view and location The only down fall was we couldn't fit our car in the car park due to the height which was 1.7m.
- Brkic (8/5): Very good - Location, facilities, size The heat in the main bedroom and ensuite and foyer
- Gallagher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (5/5): Passable -
- Melissa (9/5): Excellent location, very clean & comfortable apartment, with best breakfast available at Bellakai. - Excellent location, delicious breakfast daily at Bellakai (open daily 6am to 12pm), very clean & comfortable apartment. No kitchen or cooking utensils provided, which seemed odd in a fully equipped kitchen, including tea/coffee provisions, and crockery and cookware provided.
- Liesl-mari (8/5): Attended the Coolangatta Gold competition. - Excellent location with a great view. Good sized apartment for a family of 4. All clean and well maintained. Elevator seemed a bit hit and miss. newly added toilet in main bedroom seemed to flush itself randomly including in the middle of the night.
- Narelle (10/5): Would definitely stay again. - great position, parking, views, balcony and loved the TV selections. Bathrooms need updating
- Anonymous (5/5): Disappointing , over priced for Devore - Not much , not a. Deluxe room but. Only standard, bathrooms need updating, outdoor furniture poor, no bath. / sink plugs , no hairdryer, kitchen mugs were. Not matching , came from owners home , lack of spare bedding ,
The only positive was very clean See above
- Andrew (10/5): Loved it! - Beautiful in a great location.
Lovely manager :)
- Deidre (8/5): Very good -
- Cameron (9/5): The unit was centrally located, clean, modern, had everything we required, and had a wonderful view. - The location was central to everything along the beachfront. The view was wonderful. The apartment was airy and clean, and the manager was helpful and friendly anytime we needed her.
- Mark (1/5): We would have paid extra to stay somewhere nicer - The size of the apartment was good for 2 adults and 2 kids.
It was in a great location. The didn't let us know that the spa was disconnected, which for a winter holiday was a key reason we booked this apartment, that was very disappointing. The beds were not to our comfort, very bouncy. The toilets had poor flush and the vents in the bathroom couldn't be closed off to street noise which made the nights very loud. They didn't offer any compensation for not having the spa facility working. They need to stop advertising that they have one.
- Tracie (3/5): embarrassing!! - always the location the appartment was very old . the bathrooms were discusting. the dust all over tv cabinet. no Foxtel on tv. the queen matress in the main room was horrendous. the price for that unit was a rip off. never again !!!! would like a nights refund to be close to the real value of accommodation!!!!
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (8/5): Thank you Cindy for helping making our stay a great one ! -
- Nina (7/5): lovely - location needs a bit of an update
- Pauline (8/5): Enjoyable - Excellent location Apartment was a bit tired, needs a facelift
- Colin (8/5): apartment isn’t new but I knew that. certainly did the job. had aircon in the living room. I thought the car park was g - great spot. nice view nil
- Philip (6/5): Great position, pity about the quality of the apartment. - Great location. Apartment is very tired, needs renovation.
- Julie (7/5): perfect location but place is getting a bit old. - location the smell of the unit was very musty
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (8/5): Very good - location size of unit needs a reno ...but definitely comfortable
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Evonne (8/5): Very good -
- Marguerite (8/5): Fantastic - Location and customer service excellent
- Gary (7/5): Enjoyed the time there and will probably hook there again but this time without the roof racks. - location was terrific.
large and spacious.
Good supply of cooking utensils etc. A 1.90 m height limit on the carpark was very inconvenient both for packing and unpacking plus had to play musical
car parks for three days.
The bed in the main bedroom was a little uncomfortable.
- Glen (5/5): UNIT 7 Condition - The view was great and the kids enjoyed the pool
It's close to shops
Having secured parking Found it hard to open doors as the door handles were worn that badly we had to fight to open them.
The unit wasn't clean, stains on the carpet, there were old plastic spoons and food wrappers between the
lounge cushions, there were water stains on the ceiling
clothes dryer did not work, light fitting broken in lounge room, second bedroom window frame loose in the wall
made dangerous to open
- Garrard (4/5): Disappointing - Location 1. cool day at times NO hot/warm water for a warm shower
2. dryer did not work
3. cool day and the spa did not work
- Natalie (7/5): Good -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
