• Anthony (9/5): Lovely Spot For a Break - Our apartment was spacious and the rooms big and airy. The view from our balcony was lovely. There were lots of amenities in the kitchen which was great. The apartment does need a little TLC and there was no air con, but it was breezy once the windows and sliding doors were opened. One room only had one speed on the ceiling fan, slow, but we opened the windows and it was ok.
• Maree (9/5): Great Location of a 5 night stay, - Location was fabulous, beach across the road & pub next door. Huge apartment with large kitchen & nice balcony with great seabreeze. No air conditioning which I just assumed the apartment would have as it’s in QLD. Wasn’t a huge issue in April as weather was perfect & the ceiling fans were sufficient. There was a mix up with our apartment but that was sorted out prior to our arrival which we were grateful for.

• Jen (9/5): - The location was amazing - about as close as you can get to the main precinct. Room was spacious and views of the beach were great. Staff were lovely and friendly. There's traffic noise at all hours, but that's inevitable for being so close to the heart of Burleigh!

Third floor We didn't realise there was no air conditioning but fans are in all rooms. It was ok in late March but would be an issue in summer Bathrooms are functional but very dated. Pillows are poor. Lounge needs reorientation to 90 degrees so TV is on entrance door wall. No beach view.

• Megan (10/5): Great accommodation, great location, great service! - Booking, contact, getting access after arriving late at night all were seamless. The unit was spacious, clean and the location brilliant. The pool was beautiful and lovely to use as the surf was rough the week we were there. So easy to walk to restaurants, beach and shops. Also they had a spare fishing rod that we borrowed. We had such a lovely relaxing break. We'll be back, thank you. Not a thing!

It would have been better if there was airconditioning. It had fans, and was open to a lovely ocean breeze. It was cool enough for sleeping, but in the really hot days might have been better with aircon.

The unit we had was extremely well sized with a great new kitchen however the bathrooms were still not renovated. There was no air conditioning. I was unaware that this would be the case and was disappointed with that. Reception not open all the time.

Restaurants, cafes, esplanade for walking / exercising all very close. Sunday markets were great too. We didn’t have anything we didn’t like as it suited us just fine but if you are looking for a ‘newly renovated’ apartment - this isn’t it. It was perfect for our family heading to the beach and pool every day and doing various day trips whilst staying in Burleigh.

• Sanae (9/5): I had a great holiday staying at this unit. - This unit is very convenient to the beach, shops, and the restaurant, with beautiful sea breezes all day long and a lovely property manager taking good care of the property. The road works during the night sometimes create noise, hopefully, it will be finished when you stay there.

• Carolyn (8/5): A large sized apartment in a great location. - The location was great with the beach just across the road. It was a very spacious apartment with sea views from the balcony. It’s in walking distance of cafes and restaurants and the very popular waterfront walk. The apartment has been refurbished beautifully but the bathrooms are yet to be done…hopefully this is not too far away. Currently huge roadworks for light rail happening in Burleigh Heads.

• Ian (8/5): Really quiet, pleasant and comfortable apartment with a handy cafe and hotel nearby, opposite beach. - The quality and style of the decor and furnishings exceeded our expectations. The bathroom was really nice, the separate powder room/toilet was a bonus, and the shower was just amazing. Air conditioning in the open plan lounge, dining, kitchen area was very efficient and ceiling fan in the bedroom kept the apartment comfortable. There were no problems or issues at all.

• Nicole (9/5): Fabulous location and apartment. - Great location, views and 3bed apartment had well equipped kitchen and good size living area and verandah. Broken clothes drying rack… so nowhere to hang wet towels and swimmers. A little pricey for a 7 night stay, but being school holidays.

• Craig (7/5): A clean, spacious well positioned unit without air conditioning - A spacious unit, well located on beach front. Plenty of restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. Thankfully the unit had great wifi because our Telstra mobiles did not work at all. No air conditioning! Very glad the weather was kind and we could open windows to catch the sea breeze. In the heat of the humid summer, without air conditioning, the unit would be unbearable. Also no flyscreens on windows. The bathrooms are quite old and not the same standard as the rest of the facilities. They worked and were clean. Just old.

• Zsuzsanna (7/5): It was a nice stay, location wise and great service. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on level 3 “oceanview”. - It was in a great location, parking was great. We booked an ocean view room but unfortunately we didn’t really see the ocean from our apartment. There was no air con and the fans were not great. However opening the windows and the balcony door helped with a breeze but was very noisy in the early hours of the morning and the road works. It was overpriced for our expectations. The pool was too cold as it’s not heated.

• M Scho (10/5): Perfect Gold Coast location for family stay - We stayed in this absolutely beautiful apartment for 4 nights, and I would definitely return. Check in and parking instructions were supplied & appreciated. The host was really lovely & responsive to messages. Views from our apartment were stunning. Location couldn't be much closer to the beach. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Well stocked kitchen, extra blankets available. Washing machine & tumble dryer all very useful when travelling with kids, washing liquid kindly supplied. Would 100% return.

• DAVID (8/5): Modernised, comfy unit overlooking the beach - We had a very comfortable unit overlooking Burleigh Beach. Although the building would be one of the oldest in that area, it was very well maintained and ordered.

I loved all the attention to detail in the styling. Very clean, very welcoming apartment. The grounds were also lovely and maintained well. Also, the smell on arrival near reception is beautiful and so inviting. I thought the blinds could be more of a block out blind in the living area as you can see through. The apartment is on ground level at the entrance to the building, so not a great deal of privacy if people can see in. We had a child knocking on the windows probably because they can see in. I think sheers would be better for the day to allow the light in and block out blinds to close at night. I thought it odd that you need to check out at 9:30am when everywhere else I’ve ever stayed is 10am. I also would have liked to leave our carry on luggage securely at reception.
• Fay (6/5): Nice apartment and good location, but rude, unwelcoming staff and ridiculously early check out time - The apartment was in a good location for Burleigh Beach and Burleigh heads. The apartment was large and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Had an awful experience checking in after hours. We arrived at 7pm (not even that late!) and I had been checking my booking.com messages for check in information and didn't receive anything. When we arrived the desk was closed and I had to borrow another guest's phone to call the number, when I got through to the owner, she was extremely rude. When I told her we were waiting in the lobby and wanted to check in she said "how did you get in?!" in an accusatory way and insisted that she had sent me the information. And further insisted to my partner the next day that she had sent an email (not via booking.com) and was in the right. Also, the apartment didn't come with any basic supplies, no milk or coffee. When we asked for this we were told no, it was self catering. And a check out time of 9am is insane - I have never seen that anywhere else!
